Turkey day is almost here!!!!

Kagome couldn't remember a time in her life when she had been sadder; it was like the world had turned colorless to her. She would ride home on her bike like she rode to school this morning. Kagome laughed to herself, it was funny how she'd always thought Inuyasha was being over protective when he insisted to drive her to school and back but now that's all she wanted.

She unlocked her bike from the rack and settled onto the set, but before she could peddle off a limo pulled up beside her and the window of the passenger side rolled down. Kagome looked at the young female driver, she knew her face but couldn't place where she had seen her before.

"Miss Higurashi, I'm Sori Mrs. Yumari's driver, I've been instructed to take you her house."

"To Inuyasha's house?"

"Yes"

Kagome wasted no time in running to the car, but stopped when she heard her bike hit the ground.

"What about my bike?"

"We'll take it with us"

Sori got out the car and helped shove the bike into the spacious back seat and then closed the door after Kagome.

Kagome felt like she would crack her face from smiling too big, but she was so happy that it didn't matter.

`I'm going to spend time with Inuyasha again! I may be able to make it through this mess if I can be with him at least once in a while.'

Inuyasha's POV

Inuyasha walked lifelessly to his car and got in. He felt like a jerk, he knew this whole thing was hurting Kagome, he saw the look on her face when he didn't sit beside her in class, but he couldn't if he sat near her he would be tempted to touch her and that would not be a good thing to do in front of Kikyou. He had to do the same in their other classes because Kikyou had friends in those, and no doubt they would tell her.

For moment he just sat there in his car wondering if he should follow Kagome home to make sure she was safe, but then remembered that Kikyou had people watching his angel's house so he couldn't, he would be seen.

He had called Kagome last night to tell her of his father's plan, but he still felt bad about agreeing to the plan. He didn't give rat's ass about what Kikyou would try to do to his reputation, who would believe her? He could always tell everyone that she was just bitter because he'd dumped her and was trying get back at him, which she is. But he was already stressed and didn't feel like going up against his father and brother when it came to the family name.

He started up the car and headed home, he was going call Kagome tonight, if they had to go along with this stupid plan then he should at least get to contact her on the office phone every now and then. The drive home was quiet; he didn't feel like turning on the radio if he didn't have Kagome to fight with about what station to put it on. When he pulled into the driveway he noticed his mom's limo parked next to the curb, he brushed it off thinking she had just been shopping or something.

He walked into the house and through the huge living room to go into the kitchen for a sobe (A/N: I love sobes ^-^), as he got nearer the kitchen he heard to female voices talking, he quickly identified one as his mother's and the other… Kagome!?

He walked quickly to the kitchen thinking he had lost his mind but he still wanted to make sure that he was just insane. He stepped into the kitchen to see his mother sitting across the table from none other than his Kagome.

`Nope, perfectly sane'

She looked up and flashed him a bright smile and he wasted no time picking her up from the set and showering her with kisses.

"I'm still in the room you know."

He stopped kissing her to look at his mother; this had to be her doing. He put down a blushing Kagome and went to hug his mother,

"You're the best mom"

"I know, but don't tell your father."

Inuyasha grabbed a lizard fuel from the refrigerator (^-^) and Kagome's hand in the other and took them both up to his room.

Kagome was happy to see him too but it seemed that Inuyasha was a little too happy, he got her out of her shirt as soon as they entered his room. Not that she minded but they other things talk about it the moment, so she stopped him before he went too far.

"Inuyasha how long is this going to go on?"

"I don't know, my dad said he wanted to get something to hold over Kikyou's head before we could stop playing her game."

"How will it take to get information on her family?"

"Who knows, but I'm not doing this for long, if he doesn't get anything by next week its over."

"You'll make him mad"

"I don't care about him being mad I just want to be with you."

"I don't want to be reason that you and your dad get into a fight."

"It won't be your fault, you make me happy Kagome and if I can't be with you then what's the point of my family name or the money?"

"You make me happy too Inuyasha."

They continued the kiss that Kagome had stopped moments ago and were more than a little unhappy when a knock sounded at the door.

"Inuyasha your father and Sesshoumaru are going to be home from the office soon, so Sori needs to take Kagome home now."

"I'm coming" Kagome got up and put her shirt back on and Inuyasha walked her down to the car after his mom assured then that she would arrange more times for them to have time to for themselves. Kagome kissed her sad boyfriend good-bye and got into the limo to go home. Hoping that his father would come home with good news about all this.

Kikyou lay in her bed with a ringing phone up to her ear. She'd had another great idea for her plan, she thought about her idea to get Inuyasha back on the available list but it would be so much funnier if she could get someone to go after Kagome. Her cousin had a little crush on her, it was creepy but she would be able to use that to her advantage, and what coincidence that he and his family was moving back to Tokyo and he would be going to her school.

"Hello, may I speak to Naraku?"
