A/N: Decided to kill time by writing another chapter because my mom is expecting a phone call so I couldn't upload.

Rin and Kagome were in her room sitting on the bed watching one of the movies Kagome picked out eating ice cream sundaes, they had long since calmed down, Sesshoumaru wouldn't do anything too rash would he?

Rin was a lot happier, the idea of Sesshoumaru hunting someone down because they had lied to her actually made her believe he still loved her, even if he would mutilate them. The phone rang and she reached over to answer it not really looking away from the TV.

"Hello?"

"Inuyasha?" Kagome looked up with a confuse expression.

"Oh my goodness! Is she okay, is he okay?" Kagome was worried that it was something about Sesshoumaru.

"Yeah Kagome is here, we'll be right there." She hung up the phone and looked at Kagome with a pained expression.

"Rin what the hell is going on?"

"Inuyasha got a call from Sango, she was crying and she told him to come and get her and Miroku from the beach. When he got there Miroku had been beat up by a gang of boys and Sango was just sitting next to his body crying."

"Oh gods, lets go!"

They both jumped out the bed leaving the sundaes half finished and rushing to put on their shoes and running out the door.

Sango was sitting in the waiting room staring straight ahead; she had to call Miroku's parents just like Ayame had done and now her boyfriend was in the hospital with her friend's. It was supposed to be a night to remember but for a completely different reason than watching her boy nearly get the life beat out of him for no good reason.

Sango looked up when her name was called, it was Miroku's parents. His mother rushed over to her and hugged her asking if she was okay. Sango didn't really know if she was.

"What happened?"

"We were having such a good time and then these jerks just come out of no where and pick a fight. One of them held me back while Miroku took on the other five, and then they kept hitting and kicking until he wouldn't move and threw me down an just walked away like it was nothing."

"Oh my little boy." Tiaka was crying and holding Sango while she cried too. His father looked like Inuyasha, like they wanted to hurt someone.

"SANGO!" Everyone looked up as Rin and Kagome rounded the corner in a full-blown run. They slid to a halt in front of Sango and Tiaka.

"Sango" they pulled her into tight hug and let go when Inuyasha cleared his throat.

"Where were you Kagome?"

"I'm sorry Inuyasha I was at Rin's house helping her."

"Sango were is Miroku?" Rin had both of Sango's shoulder in her grasp.

"The doctors are examining him."

Right when she said this the doctor walked out of the doors and came to stand in front of them.

"Doctor how is he?" Tiaka was in the arms of her husband but still crying.

"Miroku has suffered minor bodily injuries, it's a good thing those boys didn't keep going. He has two broken ribs, his nose is broken, he has a lot of bruises and cuts, and also suffered some trauma to the head but that's not too serious. He's a tough young man not to have more injuries than that."

"Can we see him?"

"No, I'm afraid he's still unconscious."

Everyone headed home after that; Sango got a ride with Miroku's parents. Inuyasha took Kagome, much to her protest, home. She wanted to stay with Rin and make sure she was okay, but her boyfriends dragged her away.

"Inuyasha, why didn't you let me go back with Rin?"

"Kagome, I don't want you going anywhere without me."

"What! Why?"

"Damn it Kagome! Naraku did it! Naraku had those beat up Miroku with Sango watching! What if he try's something like that with you!?"

"How do you know he did this?"

"Who else would?"

"So you know what happened with Rin right and the night she ran out of the restaurant?"

"No, what?"

Kagome told him exactly what Rin told her and how she went over to her house to cheer her up, and when they discovered Sesshoumaru missing and panicked.

"Damn, he's even gotten to Sesshoumaru! Listen Kagome we're staying together, when you're not at home you're with me."

"Okay, Inuyasha I'm scared."

"Don't worry, I promise not to let anything happen to you."

They stopped in front of her house and he walked her to the door, after he was back in his car hr decided it was time to go and find Sesshoumaru.

Who was currently standing in front of Kikyou's house.
