Everyone was inside the hut and was waiting for Kagome to feel better. It had taken a long time to get her to calm down. Inuyasha sat against one of the walls inside the hut as he held Kagome in his arms. He rubbed her back and waited for her to stop crying. He hated it when she cried.

 

Inuyasha finally decided to take her out of the hut. She had said earlier that she didn't want to stay in the hut. He didn't want to try and calm her down with Miroku, Sango, and Shippo watching. He silently left the hut, glaring at Shippo in warning not to follow him. Shippo pleaded to go with a sad look but stayed back.

 

Running into the forest, Inuyasha looked for a nice spot to sit at. Finally he went over to the river where the sun was shining and it was a calming view. He jumped into the nearest tree and got comfortable. He didn't know what to say to help her. What could he say to stop her tears?

 

“Kagome everything will be fine.” He finally said.

 

“No, it won't.” Kagome sniffled. “Everyone is right. I'm too trusting. I was stupid to believe him even a little bit. I knew I felt something creepy about him.”

 

“You aren't. It's just the way you are.” Inuyasha said.

 

“Yeah and the way I am is stupid.” Kagome buried her face further into his shirt.

 

“None of us would be here right now if you weren't so trusting.” Inuyasha said. He smiled when that comment managed to stop her sniffling. “So quit beating yourself up.”

 

Kagome moved her face from his chest and nodded. Of course she would still have her doubts they just wouldn't be as strong. “I shouldn't worry about this. I should worry about protecting the jewel and getting our memories back.” She wiped the remaining tears from her eyes.

 

“Good, no more of this crap.” Inuyasha said. He leaned forward and caught her lips in a gentle kiss. He'd been dying to feel her lips against his and this was the best opportunity.

 

Kagome had also missed the feel of their lips touching. She missed the jolt of electricity that traveled down her spine when everything around her vanished and she felt and smelled only him. She missed being alone with him and having his warmth embrace her, as if shielding her from the coldness of the world around them.

 

Inuyasha left the sweet taste of her lips in favor of her neck. His tongue traced his mark and sank his fangs into her skin once again. He wanted to be reminded of what he had and would always have.

 

After all that had happened to him Kagome was the only one who was there for him at all times. Sure he found his half brother and helped out a lot but Kagome did so much more. He subconsciously woke up because she was in trouble. If she hadn't been around he never would've woken or found her again.

 

He may have lost her the first time but he wouldn't do it again. It was already a sure thing. The gasp that escaped her lips snapped him out of his thoughts. He lazily lapped at the few drops of blood and laid his head on the crook of her neck.

 

“Why'd you do that?” Kagome asked. It's not that she didn't enjoy it. It's the fact that she did enjoy it. She liked when his fangs sank into her skin. It was a feeling like none other.

 

“I just wanted to.” He said as he began to lick and suck on her neck again. “Do I have to have a reason for everything I do?”

 

“Well no, I was just asking...” Kagome trailed off and let her head fall back so he could have better access to her neck.

 

“Speechless?” Inuyasha asked smugly.

 

Kagome was too far-gone in the pleasure to even hear the comment. Otherwise she would've hit him. Instead she gasped and moaned when he licked her ear. Inuyasha smirked and once again kissed her lips.

 

As much as Kagome hated to admit it, Inuyasha was bringing out feelings in her that she wasn't sure about. Her hands fisted in his haori as she eagerly kissed him back. She didn't think that it was the right time to develop those feelings but at that moment she realized that she needed him. She needed something in her life that was real and he was the only thing.

 

“Well it seems that Kagome is fine now.”

 

Inuyasha growled in Kagome's neck before looking down at Miroku. “Do you have a death wish bouzo?” He said not looking down. If he did he wouldn't be held responsible for any harm that came to the monk.

 

“I don't. Although if you really wish to continue I suggest that you go further into the woods where you're not so easy to find.” Miroku smiled.

 

“Miroku!” Sango hit him on the shoulder.

 

“Fine we will.” Inuyasha said. He stood on the tree branch with Kagome in his arms and jumped out of view.

 

“Well that was unexpected.” Sango said with wide eyes.

 

“I didn't think he'd really listen.” Miroku said shocked.

After Inuyasha had thought he'd gotten far enough away he set Kagome down in a clearing. Without a word he gathered some firewood and started a fire. It was starting to get chilly out and he wanted her to be warm.

 

“Inuyasha?” Kagome called out.

 

“What?” Inuyasha asked.

 

“Why are we...What are we doing here?” She asked shyly.

 

“I just wanted to get away from Miroku.” Inuyasha said. He looked at her. “I didn't take you away because of Miroku's advice. I've told you that I'd wait for you to be ready. I'm not going to force myself on you.”

 

“I didn't think that's why.” Kagome blushed. “I was just curious. Usually we just go back with him after you and Sango hit him.”

 

“We haven't been alone as often since we met them.” Inuyasha said.

 

“Oh.” Kagome's blush brightened and she shivered.

 

Inuyasha saw and stood up. He walked over and sat next to her. He took off his outer haori and draped it over her shoulders. “Aren't you going to be cold?” She asked as she wrapped it around herself more securely.

 

“The cold doesn't get to me as easily as it does you.” Inuyasha explained. “Besides your more important.”

 

“You have to watch for yourself too!” Kagome said. “You can't neglect your own needs for others!”

 

“Look who's talking.” Inuyasha rolled his eyes.

 

“But you can get sick...” Kagome said.

 

Inuyasha sighed and wrapped an arm around her. “There you can keep me warm.” He said.

 

“I don't see how that will help...” Kagome said not giving up on the issue.

 

Inuyasha sighed once again. He lay down on the ground near the fire and placed Kagome on top of him, wrapping his arms around her waist. “Happy? This way you can keep me warm.” He said.

 

Kagome looked up at him. “That's not what I meant and you kno-” She was cut off when Inuyasha pressed his lips against hers, successfully silencing her.

 

Soon enough the oh-so-innocent kiss turned passionate. It was the first time in a long time he'd gotten Kagome alone and he was going to take advantage damn it! Sure when he first kissed her it was to shut her up but then it turned out different. She was responding differently. She was more open and wanting...Usually she was shy and hesitant. Something was different this time...

 

Inuyasha slowly began reversing their positions, so that he was on top. He left her lips for air and placed gentle butterfly kisses on her neck. By this time Kagome' head was reeling with mixed emotions. She didn't know if she wanted to stop or continue. He'd already made it clear enough that it was up to her.

 

Inuyasha could see Kagome's frustration. He knew what it was from. He stopped his feather light kisses and looked at her. “Tell me when to stop.” He smiled.

 

~LEMON~

 

Kagome, knowing what he meant nodded. Again Inuyasha's lips were on hers. He coaxed her lips open and slipped his tongue inside for a taste. He could get drunk off of her sweetness. As he probed her mouth his hand slowly moved closer towards her breasts, while his other hand held himself above her, so as not to crush her.

 

His hand reached her breast and he gently cupped it in his hand waiting for any signs of being uncomfortable. Instead of pushing his hand away Kagome arched her back into his touch and released a moan. Inuyasha would've smiled if he hadn't been busy kissing her. With more confidence he began to massage her breast through her clothes.

 

Not knowing what to do, Kagome decided to rub his ears. It was the only thing she could think of doing that he liked. Soon enough she could hear and feel the vibrations through his chest. She moaned as Inuyasha switched his hands and began massaging her other breast.

 

Inuyasha felt that she was comfortable enough and started to take her kimono off. He moved from her lips and started licking and kissing her neck. After struggling with the ties of her kimono he grew impatient and used his claws to cut down the middle. The kimono fell open and he pulled it out from under her. She still had the haori draped over her shoulders and when he reversed their positions it became a shield from the ground.

 

Kagome gasped, barely registering that she was stripped down in less than three seconds. Out of reflex she immediately went to cover herself but Inuyasha's quick hands caught them and refrained her from doing so. He pushed them back near her head.

 

Inuyasha took his time gazing at her perfect form. She had the most beautiful ivory colored skin. She had curvy hips, an hourglass figure. Her breasts were round and firm, her long slender legs. To sum it up she was a goddess.

 

Of course Kagome had her head turned away with a bright blush covering her cheeks. She didn't know if he would like what he saw and was afraid of his reaction. All doubt flooded from her mind when he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her lips.

 

“Your beautiful koibito.” He whispered.

 

Kagome turned to look at him. He leaned down and kissed her, slipping his tongue inside her slightly parted lips. He moved his hands from her wrists and held himself up with one arm and used the other hand to caress her breast. She moaned and arched her back, moving closer to him.

 

Inuyasha left her slightly puffy red lips to make a trail of butterfly kisses down from her neck to the valley of her breasts. He switched breasts to massage the neglected one and kissed the other. He lightly kissed and licked before fully taking it into his mouth, making Kagome cry out in pleasure.

 

Kagome had already begun to rub his ears again. Inuyasha pulled back from her hands and stopped his actions to remove his inner haori and pants. Of course while Inuyasha was undressing himself Kagome blushed brightly, mesmerized, not able to look away.

 

She sat up and watched as he slipped his inner haori off revealing his broad shoulders and well formed chest, not too lean. He soon began to untie his pants and her blush brightened, she'd never seen that much of a guy before. After he dropped his pants she saw that he had strong legs. Of course that's not what really caught her eye, he was big and wasn't sure about the whole situation...

 

“Inuyasha I...” She trailed off, averting her eyes, too embarrassed to look at him.

 

He could sense she was nervous and pushed her back down and kissed her. “Don't be nervous.” He said as he placed a hand on her thigh and resumed kissing her.

 

Inuyasha rubbed her thigh trying to get her to relax. He slowly moved his hands closer to her center. He began parting her legs with his knees. Gently, minding his claws, he slowly slipped a finger inside of her. Kagome gasped, eyes opened in surprise.

 

She hadn't expected him to anything like that. At first it felt...different, that is until he began slowly moving in and out. She couldn't prevent the moan from leaving her lips. The pleasure increased as he added more fingers and quickened the pace. She grabbed his shoulders and dug her nails into his skin.

 

Inuyasha decided that she was ready for him. He removed his fingers and licked them clean. He smirked at her when he saw her surprised, flushed face. He leaned over and licked the shell of her ear, positioning herself over her opening.

 

“This is going to hurt.” He whispered. “But not for long. Relax, it will hurt more if your tense.”

 

Kagome nodded and braced herself for any pain that was coming, but trying to force her body to relax at the same time. Then she felt him brush against her opening and a jolt of pleasure passed through her body. That all faded as he pushed inside of her, giving her a foreign feeling of something entering. Soon enough she felt the pain of being stretched to fit him inside. She whimpered and dug her nails further into his skin.

 

Inuyasha slowly entered her, trying to keep control. The feel of her warm, tight body around him was driving him insane, but he knew at that moment his pleasure was Kagome's pain until she got used to it. He paused when he felt her barrier, the last thing that indicated her innocence, the only thing preventing her from becoming his and only his, his mate for life.

 

Kagome cried out as he pushed past her barrier. He had stilled his movements but she could still feel the pain. She wrapped her arms around his neck waiting for the pain to pass. Tears fell from her eyes.

 

“It hurts.” She managed to say in a broken voice.

 

“It'll pass.” Inuyasha whispered in her ear. He began kissing her neck, trying to distract her from the pain.

 

After a few moments when the tears stopped, Inuyasha slowly pulled out and pushed back in. Instead of hearing any cries of pain he only heard their moans mingled in one voice. He started slowly just in case she was still feeling any pain at all. He wasn't selfish enough to just ignore it and pleasure himself. She was his mate and would always come first.

 

The pain slowly ebbed away for Kagome until she could only feel intense pleasure. Her body grew hot and she ached for more. A pressure began building in her body and it grew stronger with each thrust. She didn't know what it was, but she felt that it needed to be released and soon.

 

Inuyasha was in heaven. If he were to die at that moment he wouldn't have cared. He was now bonding, reaching the last level of intimacy with his mate. Of course he wouldn't die, leaving her alone but if he were too he would've died happy.

 

He couldn't believe how good she felt. He could live with her warmth alone but now the pleasure was incredible. Their bodies both slick with sweat, rubbing against each other as they moved with each other, picking up the pace. He could feel the moment coming closer to an end, promising an even more incredible pleasure.

 

Both of their breathing came quicker as they grew hotter. They were both nearing the edge, awaiting the peak of their pleasure. No longer able to keep up with the pace, Kagome let Inuyasha quickened his thrusts and leaned in closer towards her neck. He licked the mark, waiting for the moment to sink his teeth into her skin, remarking her as his full mate.

 

Kagome felt the pressure in her release and screamed his name as wave after wave of incredible pleasure hit her. She'd never felt anything like it in her life. The world around her faded as she felt only pleasure and Inuyasha inside of her.

 

Inuyasha felt as Kagome tightened her grip on his shoulders, making blood fall from the tiny crescent cuts she left. Her muscles tightened around him, increasing the pleasure until his last thrust threw him over the edge and he sank his fangs into her neck, where he'd marked her before. His seed spilled inside of her filling her with comforting warmth.

 

They both lay still for moments afterwards, catching their breath, and returning to reality, leaving behind the world of bliss they were in. Inuyasha lazily lapped at the blood that fell from his mark, waiting for Kagome to regain her composure.

 

“That was...” Kagome trailed off not knowing the right word to use.

 

“Everything and more.” Inuyasha answered for her as he looked into her eyes. He kissed her lips before rolling over, bringing her with him, and pulled the haori over them as a blanket.

 

Kagome yawned as her eyes drooped. “So we're official mates now?” She asked sleepily.

 

“More like the mating is complete.” Inuyasha smiled. Complete. That's how he felt now. Whatever happened now didn't matter, whether or not he'd find his lost memories, he didn't care. He had his mate beside him and that's all that mattered. “Go to sleep, your tired.”

 

“Oyasumi.” Kagome smiled and kissed his neck. Almost immediately afterwards she fell asleep.

 

Inuyasha wrapped his arms tightly around her before smelling for any threats. Confirming that there were none he dozed off into a light sleep, happy for the first time in his life.
