Chapter 5: A new life with the western lord!?
-Normal P.O.V.-
They walked in complete silence. It had been at least a week of walking. The sun had risen high into the sky. It was past noon. A head pointed itself to the direction of the sun, past the top of her head. Then a cold voice came to her ears.Chapter 5: A new life with the western lord!?

“Hurry it up.”
She scurried her way back the front of the pack that consisted of two demons, one human, and one half-breed. She sighed slowly out of sheer boredom. She wanted a nap, some food, but not a bath. To her water was the devil himself. She sighed again.
“Will you stop that?” the cold voice came again.
“Sorry, uh, how long to the western lands?”
“Not much longer now….but we need to do something about you,” he replied. She gasped, “What do you mean by that?”
He sighed, “What I mean is, you need to learn how to fight. Im not going to protect you. You can do that yourself.”
She was curious, it was showing, “ Are you going to train me?”
“Perhaps,” he replied. They continued on walking westward, in silence.
-With the InuYasha gang. InuYasha’s P.O.V.-
We were walking slowly with dread to the next village with a rumor of a jewel shard. The tension, not even Tetsusaiga could brake. We were mourning for the loss of Kagome. It was clear, she died and Kikyo was brought back to life. Sango had not wanted to stay in the group any longer with a “lying bastard” among them. But Miroku persuaded her to stay. It would have been a sausage fest without you, he said. Not the best words in my book, but it did the trick. Sango thoroughly slapped the crap out of him and decided to stay. She said only to keep little Shippo company. Shippo, he barely ate, we would have to hold him down and force feed him. Sango would remind him that Kagome wouldn’t want this to become of him, then she burst into tears and so would he, and they would hold each other for support. It would be too much for me and I would leave the hut. And as I would walk I would curse Kagome for leaving, for making this mess, for leaving me here. But then one evening after another Kagome cursing I stumbled on Kikyo in the forest. She had offered to be of service to them in finding jewel shards. She said it would not be wise to travel on her own anymore in fear of her new life with Kagome’s soul. So I let her join. And here we are, walking down the path to the next village. Shippo and Sango have stopped talking completely. It was like they turned mute. They would only speak to each other and no one else, well maybe Miroku on some occasion.“So, InuYasha, when do you think we will reach the next village?” came Kikyo’s voice.
I sighed, then answered, “I don’t know, maybe by nightfall.”
“Yes I agree, unless a demon passes by.” Miroku added. Sango and Shippo didn’t say a thing as we walked down. Kirara meowed a sad tune.
It would take time for the mood to get less tense, a long time.
-Back to Kagome-
I was really starting to get tired of this long walk. I wasn’t tired in general, with my new powers, it was just getting boring. Not saying anything, it was just tiring. I was walking without really thinking when I hit something hard and soft. I had walked into Sesshomaru’s back. I quickly moved back and away from him. “We are here,’ he spoke. I looked to the side and saw a very large, white castle. “Wow,”We walked into the castle to be greeted by many other demon servants. When they looked at me, they doubled over in disgust. I felt my ears lower a little bit until Sesshomaru spoke again, “If you show our guest any disrespect,” he raised is claws that started to glow green at the servants, “It will be your head.” He finished with a growl. The servants shuddered in fear and scurried away to do their work.
“Come,” he called for me. I walked behind me as he lead me through a set of doors that led into a big room full of……..books. I was amazed! There were so many books that it would take over a lifetime to read. Sesshomaru caught my amazement and said, “Did you think that I, Sesshomaru, could not read?”
“Well, that’s what I thought. I thought you didn’t know how to read because you are always around fighting..” I said, embarrassed. Then he did something crazy! He chuckled!! “Oh my god, it’s the end of the world.”
Sesshomaru walked up to me and pulled my ear.
“Ow!” I cried out.
“Disrespect me again and ill have to punish you.” he said. I started to blush at what punishments came to mind. Stuck in my perverted thoughts he began to speak again, “Bitch, I mean, Kagome, how’s this…Rin needs to become an archer in order to protect herself as she gets older. Seeing that you were a priestess I could have you teach her, in return I could teach you how to control your new demon powers and I will let you stay here as long as you wish, how does that sound Kagome?”
I was beyond shock. “Now that I think about it, since our meeting, in total that’s the most I have seen him talk.” I cant believe Sesshomaru was asking me to stay with him and he would teach me how to use my powers, at a cheap price of helping Rin with her archery.
My thoughts turned to a certain dog demon. What would he think? Would he even care? Then I mentally sighed.
“InuYasha has no use for me anymore. He’s with Kikyo now, happy.”
“Alright, I’ll take your offer.” I said.
“Good, then let the training begin.” he said as he lunged at me. I quickly dodged away.
“You’re too slow.” he said.
“What-” he lunged at me again. I lost my footing and fell down, I put my knee up and kneed him in the groin. He fell to my side and I scrambled back up. After a minute or so he stood up as well.
“That was dirty play,” he said with a scowl.
“Sorry, it was kind of like instinct.” I said back. His scowl died. “Well its only the fist day. You may go now, I have research to do, to see what is your power.” I bowed deeply in thanks for the quick lesson and walked out of the room to give myself a tour of the castle.
