~Chapter 5: Cruel Intentions~
“Inuyasha, so you love me? Kagome asked with warmth in her voice
Inuyasha just blinked and looked at her. He smiled and held her close.
“Of course I do, its what I told you isn't it.” Inuyasha assured
Kagome turned and looked deep into his eyes. She pulled his face towards hers, closed her eyes, and kissed him deeply. Inuyasha was shocked at first but soon returned the favor. When kagome cut the kiss, they were both breathing heavily. Inuyasha looked into Kagome's chocolate brown eyes and thought to himself `why do I feel this way. I've never felt so calm before. Why is it that only she can give me this feeling?' he came back to reality, and noticed Kagome was just smiling at him.
“What are you smiling about?” Inuyasha jokingly asked
“Nyah! Nothing…” Kagome answered playfully
“What is it!!”
At that point, Kagome's face changed, she now looked as if she were in deep thought…
“Inuyasha, why and how did you revive me?”
“Uhh…I uhh… went to Sesshomaru and asked him for help.”
“And he accepted!?!”
“Your alive aren't you!”
Kagome just shot him an angry look, another question popped into her head;
“Inuyasha, what do you plan do about Kikyou?”
“Uhh…”
What kind of answer could he give to her; he still has feelings for Kikyou, even though she killed Kagome. He didn't know what he going to do about Kikyou, but he had to think of something.

As Kikyou neared the castle, she began to wonder if she had done the right thing. She had betrayed her first and only love because of jealousy, but at the same time, she could get her own soul back, and destroy Naraku. `This has to be done..' she thought `if I get my soul and destroy Naraku, then I can be with Inuyasha once again.' Her thoughts were broken by the evil aura that Naraku's castle was emitting.
“Were almost there” Kagura said almost emotionlessly
“I see…and why is it that Naraku needs me, again?” Kikyou sarcastically responded
“Why is it that you obey Naraku's every command?”
“Its not like I have a choice…”
“What do you mean by tha-“
She was interrupted by the foul appearance of Naraku. She had not realized that Kagura had landed. Naraku slowly approached Kikyou, held out his hand in an offer to lead her into the castle. Kikyou shot her hand away form him and began to walk towards the entrance herself.
“I DONOT NEED YOUR HELP!!!” Kikyou hollered as she stormed off
She wanted to hurry up and get this over with. Naraku quickly caught up with her.
“My, you're a FIESTY one!!” he cooed while whispering in her ear
“Get away from me!! I'm here on business, not to be molested!!”
“Fine have it your way…”
As they entered the castle, he led her into a grand room and motioned for her to sit. Kikyou sat, all while keeping her eyes on him. Kagura walked by and noticed the tension from Kikyou. `Humph, she's nervous…' she thought as she continued down the hall. `And I thought that the miko knew no fear…'
“Kikyou, I'm sure that Kagura has explained to you my proposition.” Naraku calmly stated
“Yes, she has, and what exactly do you plan to me for?” Kikyou angrily questioned him

` Why does he keep doing those things…if he loves me then why cant he just me instead of just touching me all the time' Sango wondered as she headed towards the well. When she arrived, she noticed Kouga just sitting there looking down the well. `What's he doing here?'
“Kouga, is that you?” Sango asked
“Who wants to know?!” Kouga answered, not turning from the well
“You remember me, I'm Kagome's friend, Sango.”
“Oh its you, what do you want?”
“Well I come here a lot to think, I just don't see you around here a lot, that's all, so what are you doing here anyways”
“This isn't just your spot y'now, I can think too.”
“I know, are you upset about Kagome…”
Kouga got up and walked towards her, he paused about 3 inches from her own face. He had a look of confusion mixed with fury on his facial features. His blue eyes glistened with sadness, and his body trembled with shock.
“UPSET! UPSET! You think I'm just upset after I find out that the woman I love was dead, then seeing her alive with that damned Inuyasha looking like she just took a walk. She didn't have a scratch on her!!”
“Kouga, Kouga, could you get out of my face, I'll explain everything to you in minute, just please try to calm down, and be thankful that she's alive.”
Kouga paused his face changed, this time it showed curiosity and remorse. He back away from her apologized and sat down waiting patiently for her to tell him what really happened. Sango sat down in front of him and began to explain to him as best she could, for the details between Kagome and Kikyou would have to be taken on with Kagome herself.

“If you don't wanna tell me Inuyasha, you don't have too.” Kagome hurtfully stated. `He still loves her, what can he do?'
“I don't know yet. After you died I went looking for her, Inuyasha shamly answered *FB*“KIKYOU!!! KIKYOU WHERE ARE YOU!!” “Inuyasha! I see you have found me, are you ready to spend the rest of eternity with me?”*EFB*
“Oh… well what did she say?”
“I'm honestly not to sure.” *FB* “No, I'm here to make you pay for what for what you've done to Kagome, she's dead now because of you and I intend to get revenge for her death!!” “Oh you can revenge for her death but not mine after Naraku pitted us against each other?”*EFB*
Kagome didn't know what to say, she could tell that he was going through the events in his mind. He was deciding what to do about Kikyou. It was going to hard. She regretted even bringing up the subject. She looked up and noticed Inuyasha staring at her, with hurt in his eyes.
“Inuyasha, what's wrong?”
“Huh? Oh nothing.” *FB* “What are you talking about I've been trying to get revenge for your death all this time but you just don't belong here if your kill off my friends.” “Inu..yasha… w..what are you saying? Don't you still love me?”*EFB*
`Does she still love me? I have to see her I need answers' Inuyasha thought
“Kagome, I'm sorry, but I gotta go, there's something I need to take care of…”
He ran off into the forest heading to spot where he saw Kikyou last. `He's still loves her, he's going to look for her…Inuyasha please be careful.' She got up and headed to the hut, she needed to lie down she felt a little dizzy.
*FB* “Kikyou, I've I've…” “Lemme guess you've fallen in love with Kagome, haven't you? I knew it!! That's why I had to get rid of her don't you understand!! I did this for us!! I love you Inuyasha!!” *EFB* that conversation still rang in his ears, he had to see her.

“Now, now, now, there's no need to get hasty, I will tell you in due time.” Naraku responded
“No, you tell me now, or the deal is off!!”
“Don't be foolish you know you need me and I need you so there will be no cancellation of this deal, understand.”
“How are we supposed to `work together' if you won't tell me what my purpose is?”
“You don't me to tell you, you'll figure it out…”
“Ahhhhhh!!! I don't have time for this!! Screw you!!”
Kikyou stormed out of the castle and took flight with her soul-catchers. She was headed towards the nearest lake, she needed help, and she knew that was where she was gonna find it.
“Kagura!!!” Naraku screamed at the top of his lungs
“What is it now?” Kagura lazily responded
“Follow that damned miko!! Find out where she headed, and don't you take any detours!”
“Why don't you just use Kanna and her mirror to see where she's going?”
“Cause I wanna use you!! NOW GO!”
Kagura left the castle, and headed in the direction that miko was heading. `Where could she be going, her village is in the opposite direction…' Kagura wondered when she caught up with Kikyou; she kept her distance, and watched the miko's every move just as she was instructed. She noticed Kikyou landing, Kagura stayed afloat above her and watched. She was standing by a mysterious looking lake; it captured the reflection of the moon as if it were the moon, but there was no moon out, considering it was daytime. She heard Kikyou call out various words, and soon the lake became solid and it turned into what looked like a gateway. The gate was a giant moon that had stars circling the outside of it. Soon the gate opened and a woman emerged out of it. She had long thin silver hair, deep purple eyes and the symbol of the moon on her chest. She was dressed in a deep blue top with silver trimming that circled her chest with an opening in the center that connected with the skirt she was wearing. The skirt was long and silver with blue trimming and transcended to her ankles. It had two slits; one on the left side of her leg, and one on the right. Her sleeves began at the elbows and fanned out down the rest of her arms.
“Who has called me?” the woman demanded
“I did” Kikyou firmly responded “I have a proposition for you”

`Why do feel for Kikyou, when she has killed Kagome?' Inuyasha wondered as he went looking for her. When approached the spot where he and Kikyou last spoke, he sat down and looked up at the sky as if they would give him all the answers.
That when he noticed the scent of Naraku. He sat up straight and sniffed the air.
`No, this is Kagura's scent..' “What was Kagura doing here?!” Inuyasha wondered out loud. He got up and began to follow both Kikyou's and Kagura's scent. He came to clearing and both their scents disappeared. He was about to turn and leave when he smelled Kikyou, Kagura, and someone else very faintly. `They must be kind of far off.' He sped to that direction, he had so many things to ask her. As he neared the spot, he noticed that Kagura's scent was fading, as if she left or backed away. But Kikyou's scent was stronger than ever, he picked up the pace and was coming closer and closer by the minute. He came to a halt when he saw Kikyou talking to a strangely beautiful woman. She handed the woman what looked like a jewel shard… `What is she doing?' Inuyasha wondered

When Kagome entered the hut she saw Shippo and Kaede making some tea.
“Hey Kagome! Do you want some, its almost ready?” Shippo asked
“No thanks Shippo, Kaede, imma head home ok. I'll be back in a few days.” Kagome said in a daze
“Kagome? What has happened, ye seem lost. Is everything alright?” Kaede asked
“Yeah, I'm fine I just need to go home, I miss my bed… where's Miroku and Sango?”
“They went for a walk they should be back soon, and you, be careful my child”
“I will, I'll be back in a few”
Kagome walked towards the well and was noticing all the things around her that she never really noticed before, how quiet it was, how serene everything appeared to be. “I don't want to go back, but I have to, I've got to clear my mind” Kagome said to herself as she approached the well. When she got closer she noticed Sango talking to Kouga, and Miroku watching not to far in front of her. She snuck up on him.
“Hey Miroku!!” Kagome yelled and smiled
“Yaaahhhhhhh!! You scared me!!” Miroku screamed
“Why were you spying?”
“Uhh…oh looks like its time to go and help Kaede, bye!”
Miroku got up and quickly fled from the scene. As he left Kagome decided to see what was going on.
“Hey Sango! Kouga!” Kagome said as she walked by and was about to hop down the well
“Kagome! Hey are you going back home?” Sango asked
“Yeah, I haven't seen my family in a while…I'll be back in a few days though.”
“Kagome wait, will you tell me really happened between you and Kikyou?” Kouga asked
“I…I gotta go!” Kagome said
She quickly leaped down the well. As the blue light hit her, she wondered why she couldn't talk about it. But soon forgot when she was back in her own time.
She hopped out of the well, exited the well house and headed for hers. When she went inside, she slid her shoes off, and began to look for her family.
“Mom, Grandpa, Souta! I'm home!” Kagome hollered as she searched the house
“Hmm, I guess no ones home.” She said as she headed up to the bathroom to take a bath.
She turned on the hot water and began to wander around the house some more, this time looking for her cat, Buyo. When she couldn't find him either she went back upstairs, turned off the water, peeled off her clothes and sank into the hot water. As she lie there she began to wonder about everything that has happened, her death, Inuyasha telling her he loves her, everything. She still couldn't quite understand why Inuyasha couldn't just forget about Kikyou. She knew why but didn't want to think about it, so she dipped her head under the water for a few minutes to help get some of the blood and dirt out of it. When she submerged she climbed out of the tub, let the water out, and dried off. She headed to room to put on a dark blue cloth skirt, and yellow sweatshirt. She walked over to her bed flopped on it and fell asleep instantly.

“Kikyou, I see you are here to pay me for my services, is that right.” The woman asked
“Yes, Usagi, I'm here to pay you and request your services yet again.” Kikyou responded
“What is it that you need this time?”
“I wasn't able to kill the girl, and-“
“And you need my help yet again. Is that right.”
“Yes, I will pay you double. I'll give you half now, and half when the job is complete.”
Kikyou handed Usagi a jewel shard.
“So Usagi, do we have a deal?”
“Yes I will help you., tell me Kikyou did you notice that someone has been watching us this whole time?”
“You probably mean Kagura, she's always doing that, probably orders from her master.”
“No, I noticed her she left soon after I appeared, there's someone else…”
“Who is it?”
Usagi flew over to the bushes where Inuyasha was hiding and lifted him with a flick of her wrist. She looked at him as he just floated there. She looked at his face.
“Hmmm, you're a handsome one, but what to do with you?” Usagi asked more to herself
“Usagi, wait, put him down!” Kikyou yelled
“Why, do you know him?”
“Yes, that's Inuyasha!”
“Oh I see, so Inuyasha what were you doing spying on me?” Usagi asked
“I wasn't even spying, who are you anyways?” Inuyasha demanded
“I am Usagi, The Moon Goddess, and I take it you already know Kikyou.”
“Kikyou, what are you doing I came here to find you so that I can talk with you and I find you making a pact to kill Kagome yet again!! What's your deal!?”
“SILENCE! I will not have you ruining my chances to obtain The Shikon Jewel!” Usagi growled
Usagi put Inuyasha under a spell that made him lose his memory.
“There, he's all yours, now you have no need to kill Kagome because he doesn't know her.” Usagi stated
“But I wanted you to kill her!” Kikyou yelled
“Hold your tongue! I'm a goddess you don't speak to me in such a tone! And I do not kill, I may help in the process, but I don't do the dirty deed my self.” Usagi answered
She warned Kikyou that any forceful blows to the head and the spell would
disappear and his memory would return. (Hint, hint *osuwari* hint, hint)^_^

“Hey Miroku!!” Kagome yelled and smiled
“Yaaahhhhhhh!! You scared me!!” Miroku screamed
“Why were you spying?”
“Uhh…oh looks like its time to go and help Kaede, bye!”
Miroku got up and quickly fled from the scene. As he left Kagome decided to see what was going on.
“Hey Sango! Kouga!” Kagome said as she walked by and was about to hop down the well
“Kagome! Hey are you going back home?” Sango asked
“Yeah, I haven't seen my family in a while…I'll be back in a few days though.”
“Kagome wait, will you tell me really happened between you and Kikyou?” Kouga asked
“I…I gotta go!” Kagome said
She quickly leaped down the well. As the blue light hit her, she wondered why she couldn't talk about it. But soon forgot when she was back in her own time.
She hopped out of the well, exited the well house and headed for hers. When she went inside, she slid her shoes off, and began to look for her family.
“Mom, Grandpa, Souta! I'm home!” Kagome hollered as she searched the house
“Hmm, I guess no ones home.” She said as she headed up to the bathroom to take a bath.
She turned on the hot water and began to wander around the house some more, this time looking for her cat, Buyo. When she couldn't find him either she went back upstairs, turned off the water, peeled off her clothes and sank into the hot water. As she lie there she began to wonder about everything that has happened, her death, Inuyasha telling her he loves her, everything. She still couldn't quite understand why Inuyasha couldn't just forget about Kikyou. She knew why but didn't want to think about it, so she dipped her head under the water for a few minutes to help get some of the blood and dirt out of it. When she submerged she climbed out of the tub, let the water out, and dried off. She headed to room to put on a dark blue cloth skirt, and yellow sweatshirt. She walked over to her bed flopped on it and fell asleep instantly.

“Kikyou, I see you are here to pay me for my services, is that right.” The woman asked
“Yes, Usagi, I'm here to pay you and request your services yet again.” Kikyou responded
“What is it that you need this time?”
“I wasn't able to kill the girl, and-“
“And you need my help yet again. Is that right.”
“Yes, I will pay you double. I'll give you half now, and half when the job is complete.”
Kikyou handed Usagi a jewel shard.
“So Usagi, do we have a deal?”
“Yes I will help you., tell me Kikyou did you notice that someone has been watching us this whole time?”
“You probably mean Kagura, she's always doing that, probably orders from her master.”
“No, I noticed her she left soon after I appeared, there's someone else…”
“Who is it?”
Usagi flew over to the bushes where Inuyasha was hiding and lifted him with a flick of her wrist. She looked at him as he just floated there. She looked at his face.
“Hmmm, you're a handsome one, but what to do with you?” Usagi asked more to herself
“Usagi, wait, put him down!” Kikyou yelled
“Why, do you know him?”
“Yes, that's Inuyasha!”
“Oh I see, so Inuyasha what were you doing spying on me?” Usagi asked
“I wasn't even spying, who are you anyways?” Inuyasha demanded
“I am Usagi, The Moon Goddess, and I take it you already know Kikyou.”
“Kikyou, what are you doing I came here to find you so that I can talk with you and I find you making a pact to kill Kagome yet again!! What's your deal!?”
“SILENCE! I will not have you ruining my chances to obtain The Shikon Jewel!” Usagi growled
Usagi put Inuyasha under a spell that made him lose his memory.
“There, he's all yours, now you have no need to kill Kagome because he doesn't know her.” Usagi stated
“But I wanted you to kill her!” Kikyou yelled
“Hold your tongue! I'm a goddess you don't speak to me in such a tone! And I do not kill, I may help in the process, but I don't do the dirty deed my self.” Usagi answered
She warned Kikyou that any forceful blows to the head and the spell would
disappear and his memory would return. (Hint, hint *osuwari* hint, hint)^_^
