Well there sure is alot of rude people out there. I update mostly on FF.net so I forget to update here sometimes, sorry, but it's no reason to be a rude bitch. I haven't been able to write due to taking care of a 3 month old baby, moving, and being depressed which makes you not want to do anything. So soooooooory if I can't get this up fast enough, I'm not just leaving it like this, but I do have a life I need to get in order.

I could hear the girl walking behind me like she was made to do. At least she seemed to have come from a long line of servants, not like those as of late who do not know what to do at all, who have to be instructed first. I had finally gotten to my room, going straight for my private study, the girl still following me.
"Jaken. Send this to the Higurashi Palace, and do not come back without a reply." I told the old toad youkai that followed me so loyally
"Of course, Sesshoumaru-sama. It would be this Jaken's pleasure." he graveled and then hurried out the door like he always does
Now that my father is gone again, I have to take care of all the work. Not that I mind, father is often gone, so I am by now use to it, and one day I will be ruler of these lands and will have to do this anyways. I sat down at my desk, taking the first in a stack of scrolls I had to read and sign. The girl, interestingly enough, sat down next to the window, sitting on her knees with her hands folded in her lap. She looked down at the floor, not making a sound.
"Very well done." I thought, though I would not say it out loud, as I went back to reading the long and boring scroll
* * * * * * * * * * * Kagome's POV * * * * * * * * * * *
"What does he have to do with my family?" my family never mentioned having ties with this family, or even just one member of it, so what is going on?
Of course, I was always left out of these things. My father never thought I should learn to be a ruler of the kingdom, because my husband would take care of everything and I would just be left in the shadows. That was another reason why I left, I wanted to prove that I could do anything I set my mind to.
"I will show them. I do not need a man to survive and make decisions for me." I had made up my mind about this, I was going to survive and become stronger for this
I watched Prince Sesshoumaru work. Did father not think that I was smart enough to do this day after day? I know it would be harder than it looks, but I have proven I could do it, my father just never paid attention before. Well I hope he pays attention now that I'm gone, because who knows if I am going to even bother going back to them.
"Girl." I was cut out of my thoughts by the voice of my 'master'
"You will be staying there. Now go to sleep." Prince Sesshoumaru said pointing towards a small door at the other end of the room
"Hai Master." I said quietly, but not to much so
I bowed and then made my way to the other side of them room. I walked into the small door having to bow my head so that I would not hit it on the door frame. The room was dark so I did not get a good look at it, but I figured it was like most slaves rooms, small and dingy.
"Welcome to your new life Princess." I bitterly whispered to myself as I shut the door and tried to find my way around it the dark
After a minute I found a futon, and to my surprise a few candles. I lit the candles and the whole room came alive, I was wrong about it, the room was fairly big and clean. I was amazed at everything in here, there was a futon, which looked like it had never been slept in. There was a shelf with tiny figurines on it, giving the room a nice new feeling, and there were clothes folded up in the corner next to a cabinet.
"Are those mine?" I asked myself as I walked to the clothes
They were very nice, for servants clothes, even our servants never had clothing like this, even though I had tried to get them some. I was always caught and told that they did not need such nice things, that they were filth, but I did not believe that at all, and I tried to sneak them some of my own clothing, I was punished for it. I did not care if I was locked in my room, what kind of punishment was that? It was a princess' punishment, that's what is was.
"I guess they treat their servants better than we do, I am glad that someone does. I do not even see why we need slaves at all, it is not like we can not do these trivial things ourselves." I thought, not wanting to say anything like that out loud, for I knew how well youkai could hear
I put down the kimono I had been looking at and made my way back to the futon, I was very tired with all of the traveling I had to do to get here. I was use to physical activity, but this was to much for me, mostly because of all of the overwhelming things that have been happening. I blew out the candles I had just lit and closed my eyes ready for a nice peaceful sleep.
* * * * * * * * * * * Sango's POV * * * * * * * * * * *
I hope we made the right decision in doing this. It is risky, I am not worried about myself though, I just want Kagome to be okay. She is like my younger sister, and I do not wish for anything bad to happen to her. I walked down towards the palace, I had to stay gone and out of site for a while so our plan would work.
"H-help." I called out, not so loud, but louder as if I was in pain
"Who's out there?" one of the guards called, everything was going good so far, but this is just the beginning of it
"I-I need. Help." good thing I learned how to act, I knew it would come in handy one of these days
Two guards came running around the corner, I was lying in the dirt, trying to act like I had just had the shit beat out of me.
"Get the healer." one of the guards called to the other, I guess it was working if they did not try and move me on their own
The healer was in on this plan, she did not like the idea of Kagome marrying Naraku either. That is why I did not need to really be injured. We had planned this for so long, and now everything was falling into place.

Where am I? I am not in my bed, I am not at home. I opened my eyes, rubbing the sleep from them while I sat up. The room was barely lit with the light from the small window. Once the sleep wore off, I began to remember, I was in my new room, the one I would be in for a while.
"Good morning." I heard a voice chirp, which caused me to jump
I looked down at the foot of my futon, there was a little red haired kitsune, with the cutest big green eyes.
"Ohayo. Ano, who are you?" I asked, looking around the room to make sure there were no other unexpected visitors
"I'm Shippou. I came to wake you up and give you breakfast." he said pointing to a tray that was on the low table in the middle of the room
"Arigato. Is Lord Sesshoumaru up yet?" I asked getting out of bed and walking to the table
"Hai. He had work to do in town today. So you have the morning off." he said smiling, which of course made me smile, he was just so cute
"I suppose that is a good thing." I said taking a sip of my tea
"Do you want to play with me and Rin? We don't work here, and there's never anyone to play with." Shippou asked, his face dropping a bit
"Would I get in trouble?" I had to ask, my servants always got in trouble when they were caught playing with me, and I did not want to get into trouble on my first real day here
"Of course not! Me and Rin will tell them that it's okay." he was so enthusiastic that I could not say no
After I finished my breakfast, with a very eager child chatting about everything that we can do, and everything that they already do here, I found myself out in a garden with two hyper children.
"What would you like to play Kagome-chan?" the little girl known as Rin asked, she was so cute, I love children
"I do not know. What would you two like to play?" I asked, I did not get a chance to play with many children, always locked away in the Palace
Before I knew what hit me I was down on the ground with the two children on top of me. The tickled me breathless, and I could not do anything about it.
"S-stop. I. Can. Not. Breathe." I said, gasping for air
After a minute they did finally stop, and laid down in the grass next to me. I always wondered what it would have been like to play like a normal child, I tried to as much as I could, but it never really worked out the way I wanted it too. But I was not a child anymore, I was practically a woman, one that should be working right now.
"I should be getting back, I must have some sort of work to do while my Master is away." I said to the two disappointed children, I did not like seeing them sad
"Can we play again tomorrow?" Shippou asked, I wish I could have said yes, but I could not chance messing this up
"I am sorry, but I do not think I can. Maybe we will find some time in the future, but right now I have to go." I was feeling so very bad now, I wanted to stay with these two all day, maybe I could
"If you two would like, you could follow me around while I work." I said, feeling better now, I knew they would agree as soon as I looked at their smiling faces
"Hai!" they both called at the same time, making me smile
This was going to be an interesting first day.
