Chapter 5Kagome smelled his hair as she hugged him and kissed his neck."Kagome?" He had froze when he felt her kiss his neck.She nipped his neck, "Yes?""What are you doing?" Kagome tried to look away from his eyes, but Sesshoumaru turned her head back to face him."I always had a crush on you, but I never said anything because we were such good friends and-"He interupted, "And you loved my brother.""No, I settled for your brother. I always wanted you, but I thought you were out of reach for me. After my birthday party and the kiss-though I know you meant it as a friend-I thought about the chance of there being an us.""And your conclusion?""I still don't think I'm good enough for you."Sesshoumaru bent down and looked her in the eyes, "If anyone is not good enough, I am not good enough for you. You never cease to amaze me Kagome." His lips connected with hers, "Does this mean there is an us?""That depends on what you want. I do want for there to be an us."He kissed her again, "There is an us now." With that Sesshoumaru's hands started to explore the body he had seen grow up. His hand slipped beneath her shirt and up to one of her breasts. Her bra was in the way, so he sat her up and removed her shirt. Shirt and bra now gone he continued his explorations.Kagome writhed beneath his hands. One hand went up to her breast while the onther went down to her hip. "Sesshoumaru, ungh." On the left side of his bed was a nightstand, he took out a condom. Sesshoumaru sat back on his bed after removing his boxers and put on the condom.She watched him hungrily, now she wanted him even more. When he was done he pushed her back down and took off her thong. He set her clothes on the bed, before they were all over his room. "You could stay in bed, but I doubt you would get any sleep and I would have to take off my clothes again. Sound good?"Her blush deepened, "Fine I'll get dressed." She pushed the sheets down and saw a red mark on her stomach. "You gave me a hicky?!" Kagome looked up at him accusingly."Yeah, I did. Looks good on you." He flashed her a smirk."What have I gotten myself into?" She grabbed her bra and panties, and tried to stand up. There was a sharp pain between her legs and she eased back onto the bed. "Ow."Sesshoumaru knelt in front of her, "Are you alright?""It hurts." She winced again.He picked her up, "Here I've got the solution." Sesshoumaru carried her into his bathroom and set her in his large bathtub. He turned on the hot water and the water jets. When the tub was filled up enough he turned it off. "Better?"She sighed, "Yes."He went to walk put but Kagome stopped him."I need to know why you wanted to be my boyfriend. Before you never showed any interest in me as more than a friend, then last night I was willing to just sleep with you. Even though I had a crush on you, you didn't have to be my boyfriend."Sesshoumaru faced her, "I never made any move to show I wanted more than friendship because I believed you loved my brother. After you told me that you settled for him I made up my mind." He smiled at her, "I want you to be mine Kagome.""Thank you Sesshoumaru." She closed her eyes and relaxed in the warm water.He nodded, "I will leave your clothes in here. I need to take my dirty clothes to the laundry room. Sesshoumaru left her in the tub and went about gathering his clothes.Clothes in his arms, Sesshoumaru went down stairs to the laundry room. He deposited his clothes and went into the kitchen. He was met with Inuyasha and a girl sitting at the table eating breakfast. It took all of his control to not kill Inuyasha right there.Instead he gazed at them with indifference, "Who is she and why is she here?"Inuyasha looked up at Sesshoumaru and then at her. "This is Kikyo. She's my girlfriend.""Oh? Since last night when you had sex at Hojo's?""Wha-what?""Did you think I didn't know?" He stepped in the doorway, "You had better know what you are doing Inuyasha or you will lose more than you gain." Sesshoumaru walked back to the stairs and his room.Inuyasha looked at the doorway, "I'll be right back Kikyo." He went up to Sesshoumaru's room and didn't bother knocking.Sesshoumaru turned when his brother burst through the door, "Are you so willing to die today?""How do you know I slept with Kikyo? You were gone when we went back down to the party.""It doesn't matter, all that does matter is that you had a lot to lose by doing what you did." He shrugged, "You made your bed and now you will have to sleep in it. You-" His phone rang.Sesshoumaru picked it up and answered it. "Hello?""Sesshoumaru, Kagome never made it home last night.""Sango-""I thought she left with you, but her mom hasn't heard from her.""Listen-""You need to come down and help me look for her. You and her have that weird mind thing you do. You always know what the other is thinking and-""Sango, shut up."Silence."Relax, I took care of it.""Is she over there?"He didn't want her to know, but otherwise she would drive over to see her. "Yes.""Can I talk to her?""No." Sesshoumaru prepared for the storm."What do you mean no?! I was worried!"There was a headache at the back of his head and knew a migraine was coming on. "Later Sango. Something major happened, okay?"There was a pause then, "Is she okay? What did Inuyasha do?""Maybe we all share a mind thing? It's a long and tear filled story, so you'll have to wait.""Alright, have her call me.""Will do. Bye." He hung up and turned back to Inuyasha. "I do not want to deal with you right now Inuyasha.""What did Sango want?""If you wish to know, then you can call her. For now get out of my room."Inuyasha didn't move, "No, not until you answer my question.""Fine." Sesshoumaru picked him up and shoved him out the door. The sound of the door locking showed the bastard how much he was unwanted. He went back into the bathroom and found Kagome looking at him near tears."She's here isn't she?""Yes, she is down stairs eating breakfast. What do you want to do?" He knelt down beside the tub and looked into her eyes. "You can't stay in here forever.""I know, it's just, I don't really want to remember what I saw last night at Hojo's. Seeing your best friend and some random girl having sex is a little much." She smiled at him, "Even if I didn't love him, I'd rather not see her."He smirked at her, "You could always remember the better part of last night."Kagome blushed, "I suppose that would work. Who called?""That was Sango, she was freaking out because she couldn't find you. She wanted me to look for you. I told her you would call her later." He stood and held out his hand to her, "Ready to get out?"She nodded, "Yeah." When she stood up there was only a dull throbbing where the pain once was. "I feel much better." She stepped out of the tub and fell into Sesshoumaru's arms. "Sorry.""It's alright. You get dressed and come into my room when your done." He saw the question in her eyes and smiled, "If you come into my room to dress you will not be leaving for a while."She swatted at him playfully, "Go, before I change my mind."He stepped through the dorr, "Is that a promise?""Go!" Kagome shook her head and put her clothes on, they smelled like Sesshoumaru.After she emerged from his bathroom Kagome saw he was now wearing a black t-shirt. "Well, " Kagome smiled, "will you fix me breakfast?""Depends on what you want."She leaned up and kissed him, "Maybe a little Sesshoumaru?""That doesn't require any fixing.""How about eggs? And then some toast?"Sesshoumaru kissed her back, "I think that can be arranged." He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her close to him.She giggled, "I'm pleased you can make time for me. I always wanted a dedicated boyfriend.""You got the best."Kagome smiled up at him, "I'm really lucky to have you Sesshoumaru." She leaned her head on his chest.
"I'll bring your breakfast in here okay?"
She nodded, "Okay."
"I'll be right back, you settle down." He let go of her and moved to his door. Sesshoumaru glanced back at her and then left.
Kagome laid back on his bed and sighed.

Sesshoumaru didn't speak to his brother while he was fixing Kagom'e breakfast. He was well aware of the looks he was getting from both Inuyasha and Kikyo. The looks from his brother were confused and angry. All the looks he recieved from Kikyo were filled with lust, this disgusted him most of all. He didn't know how Inuyasha could handle her looking at him like a piece of meat.

When Inuyasha and Kikyo left Sesshoumaru finally relaxed. They were headed to her house and most likely wouldn't be back for the rest of the day. With those two gone Kagome could come down and eat.

So Sesshoumaru ran up and told her of Inuyasha's departure and she came down.

Kagome watched Sesshoumaru cook. He still wasn't wearing a shirt and she was trying not to think about last night, of course she was also failing miserably. He wasn't just skin and bones, Sesshoumaru had quite the build. She remembered one time he said that he had been lifting weights., that he had stopped. "Are you still lifting weights?"

"No," He said with his back to her, "With gym being a requirement in school I see no point in wasting my time doing that. Why?"

"Just wondering how you still look good." She blushed when he turned around, "I mean-"

"I know what you mean Kagome. Here," He set her breakfast down in front of her. "Eggs and toast."

She smiled, "Thanks Sesshoumaru." Kagome picked up her fork and started eating.

He smirked at her, she was eating like she hadn't eaten in years. "Hungry?"

Kagome nodded silently. And waited until her mouth was empty to say anything. When she was finally able to speak she opened her mouth and Sesshoumaru's cell phone rang.

"Hang on Kagome." He answered it. "I thought you wanted her to call you? Fine, here she is." Sesshoumaru handed his phone to Kagome and said, "Sango."

"Hello? Yeah, it's me." Kagome was silent for a second then, "I'll explain it later. No Sesshoumaru knows." She frowned, "What's wrong?" There was a long pause followed shortly by Kagome's gasp, "Oh, Sango."

Sesshoumaru watched Kagome nod and tell Sango she would be right over. When she hung up he asked, "What's going on?"

"Can you take me to Sango's?" At his questioning look she said, "Something happened at the party last night... between Miroku and Sango Now he won't talk to her."

With a nod Sesshoumaru went up to his room and came back down with a shirt on. He grabbed his car keys and he and Kagome left.
