Inuyasha sat in a tree deep in the woods, thinking about what happened, he didn't cry on the outside, but on the inside his heart was broken and he was full of a sorrow so deep that there was only one way to get rid of it. Inuyasha grabbed tetsusaiga, and though it wasn't transformed, it could still be used to slit his wrist, he lifted it up to rest on the vein and......

....... "I wouldn't do that if I were you" warned a both firm and kind voice. Inuyasha looked up to see a girl about the same age as him, step out of the trees, "I sense that your pain is great, here, you can use my shoulder to cry on" with that said, the girl came over to Inuyasha, and hugged him, allowing Inuyasha's head to fall on her shoulders. Inuyasha was about to ask who this stranger was when he caught a rare scent coming from her. "Are you a hanyou?" asked Inuyasha, "yes, but that's not important, now cry, get rid of your tears", with that question answered, Inuyasha gave in to his overwhelming sadness, and sobbed.

Kagome was running through the woods, looking for Inuyasha, but she stopped at a clearing when she saw the strangest sight, a strange hanyou was holding Inuyasha in her arms, and stranger still, Inuyasha seemed to be crying his heart out, on the girl's shoulder.

The girl's head whipped towards kagome, once she entered the clearing, but over his sobs, Inuyasha didn't notice.

"Are you the one who did this?" the hanyou asked kagome, indicating Inuyasha, who had fallen asleep, her eyes scolding, before she heard an answer, she continued, "you fool, you have no idea how much you hurt him, he almost took his own life because the pain was too great".

When Kagome heard the part about Inuyasha almost commiting suicide, she burst into tears, " I didn't (sob) mean anything (sob) by it (sob), all I did (sob) was give Kouga (sob) a little kiss (sob) on the cheek (sob) for (sob) saving me". "stop your blubbering, girl" snapped the hanyou, "obviously, Inuyasha, or whatever his name is, thought otherwise, that's what matters".

"Oh well, I better take him back, and YOU, stay away from him till he calms down or, who knows what he'll do" with that said, the girl picked up the sleeping Inuyasha and followed kagome back to her Inuyasha's camp.

A/N I know I said I'd write longer chapters, but I just HAD to leave it on a cliffhanger.

I know it's a TINY bit out of character, but I just wanted to write something different. hope ya like it, I'll be back with another (hopefully longer) chapter. BYE!!
