At the castle
Inutashio snuck into the house and asked the servants to gather clothes for their new guest. They could see she was but a commoner but did as they were told. He placed her in one of the guest room, tucked her in, and walked out.
He got to his room and his wife flicked on the lights. "Where in kami's name have you been mister?" He knew he was cold busted so he told her everything. "Sweetie I wanted to have a little fun with the commoners, so I went to town and played a few games that the commoners play." She knew he was leaving out major details. "Games like what dear" asked the steamed queen. He sighed in defeat, "O.K I played poker and won and so a guy couldn't pay me in cash so hepaidmebuygivingmehisdaughter. The queen eyed her husband, "what did you say dear I didn't quiet catch the last part, speak a little slower". The King looked down shamefully, "he gave me his daughter as payment for the lost game. The queen looked hurt, you had to take a man's daughter when you have all of this and some in this kingdom how could you. She looked at him accusingly, "I couldn't just let him slide because my image would be tainted, people would think they could just play me and I'll let it go always. I felt like I was doing that girl a favor, the man was practically pushing her off on me talking about how she needed to be married ..."
The queen's eyes turned red how he would think giving her to you could insure her of getting married. The King gave her a scared look, calm down love. I was thinking of betrothing her to Inuyasha. The queen's face went from green with jealousy the yellow and shinny with delight; of course, Inuyasha has gone all these centuries without someone to call his own. He needs a mate, and then she asked. "How are you so sure she's the one?" The king thought for a minute, "I don't know? It's like a gut feeling. I'm not sure." The queen smirked and went to sleep, tomorrow would be full of surprises.
