Chapter 6: Lovey Dovey Shit
"Well," said Miroku with a hint of resentment. "Are you ready to see her?"
Inu Yasha's jaw dropped. He could feel his heart begin to pound and his palms began to sweat. Catching Miroku giving his attire a disgusted look, he began to try to wipe off some of the stains. When it proved to be useless he shrugged and gave Miroku a pathetic look.
"On second thought," the lech said trying his hardest not to laugh at the sight in front of him. "Why don't we swing by my place first so you can take a shower and get a fresh set of clothes?"

(About 30 minuets later)
Sango let out a deep sigh and leaned against one of the cement cylinders outside the hospital. It was barley past noon but she was ready for bed. She let her eyes roam over to the bench her raven haired friend was sitting on. She looked so lost in thought...so peaceful.
"Kagome."
"Huh?!?" The startled girl jumped half way out of her seat.
"Look up."
"What?" Kagome was confused but looked up anyway. Her heart began to do flip flops and her jaw dropped.
* I have a smile,
Stretched from ear to ear,
To see you walking down the road.*
Less than twenty feet infront of her, Miroku stood with Inu Yasha by his car. Slowly she stood up and began to walk towards them. Behind her, Sango was smiling a toothy grin and nodded at Miroku. Looking over, Miroku realized Inu Yasha was just standing there frozen. Chuckling to himself, he gave the hanyou a shove.
*We meet at the lights,
I stare for a while,
The world around dissapears*
He couldn't believe it. After so long, he could finally see her again. The hanyou began to pick up his pace. His heart began to beat as if it was trying to get out.
*Just you and me,
On this island of hope,
A breath between us could be miles.*
'He's here,' she thought. 'He's finally here!' She picked up her pace to match his. 'He's with-in my reach!'
* Let me surround you,
my sea to your shore,
Let me be the calm you seek.*
Inu Yasha took a leap forwar to close the distance between them. He grabbed her around the waist, their momentum caused them to to spin. Kagome reached her hands into his silver mane, bringing his lips to meet hers.
*Oh and everytime I'm close to you,
there's too much i can't say,
and you just walk away.*
She poured everything into the kiss. He could feel her anger in the way she griped him, her love in the way her lips were moving against his, and everything else inthe way her tounge danced with his.
Miroku raised his eyebrows as he walked towards Sango, never taking his eyes off her.
Inu Yasha pulled away, sensing that they both needed air. He rested his forehead against hers.
*And I forgot,
To tell you,
I Love You,
And the night's
too long
and cold here
Without you,
I grieve in my condition,
for I cannot find the strenght to say I need you so.*
Miroku slipped an arm around Sango's waist.
"Think we did something right this time," asked Miroku.
Sango just stood there staring at the other couple. It looked like both of them were crying.
*oh and everytime I'm close to you,
There's too much I can't say,
And you just walk away.*
"Yeah, I think we did." She couldn't tear her eyes away. Miroku turned her around slowly.
"Why don't you and I go get a cup of coffee and leave these two lovers be?"
"That would be nice."
*And I forgot,
To tell you I love you,
And the night's
too long
and cold
without you.*
The couple interlocked hands and made their way to a cafe down the street. Leaving behind a very happy Inu Yasha kissing whispering to a smiling Kagome.
