Sheryl Crow - Am I Getting Through part 1:

I am strong, I am able, I spill milk on your table/Then I cry like a baby, just to see if you save me/I am sweet, I am ugly, I am mean if you love me/I try hard just to please you when I say I don't need you/I dress up with a conscience when I think you'll be watching/I say all the right things, I don't know what I mean/Am I, am I getting through/Am I, am I getting through/I am ignorant and rude, I am fashionably crude/And sometimes when it's quiet I'm an angel in white/When I pose in the mirror I want everyone near me/I am scared that I'm weird, I'm afraid I am queer/I am lovely, I'm weak, I am foul when I speak/I am strange when I'm kind, I am frying my mind/Am I, am I getting through/Am I, am I getting through/I don't care, I don't care/Jesus loves me I know, for my mom told me so/I'm a loser at love, I'm a flower in the mud/Am I, am I getting through

* AT THE HUT *

It had been two weeks since Abiona had kissed Miroku. She was copletely healed by now and was constantly giving Miroku flirtatious looks. Everytime, he had wanted to return them, but kept thinking of his promise to Kagome. He was also worried about the looks she was giving Inuyasha. And what about Kagome? Had the two of them really slept together? But maybe she was as much a flirt as he was and all of this actually meant nothing.
But still, there were more things on his mind. Where did all of those scars come from? And his concern for her safety was growing. There had already been a few close calls.
His attention turned back to staring at her after she stood up from the fire and walked to the door. She gave him one of those "looks" again and continued outside. This time, he would follow her.

Avril Lavigne - How Does It Feel:

I’m not afraid of anything/I just need to know that I can breathe/I don’t need much of anything/But suddenly, suddenly/I am small and the world is big/All around me is fast moving/Surrounded by so many things/Suddenly, suddenly/How does it feel/To be different from me?/Are we the same?/How does it feel/To be different from me?/Are we the same?/How does it feel?/I am young and I am free/But I get tired and I get weak/I get lost and I can’t sleep/But suddenly, suddenly/Would you comfort me?/Would you cry with me?/I am small and the world is big/But I am not afraid of anything/How does it feel, how does it feel/You’re different from me, different

* SESSHOMARU'S CASTLE *

Sesshomaru threw himself against the wall. "What the hell is happening to me?!", he yelled.
"Master!", yelled Jaken.
"Lord Sesshomaru!", Rin yelled and ran to his side.
Sesshomaru knocked her down. "LEAVE ME!", he yelled.
Rin ran outside, followed by Jaken.

Abiona was looking up at the stars. She sat down and kept her gaze. Miroku tried to sneak up behind her, but he stepped on a twig and it snapped. She whirled around and stared at him. Her face looked shiny. Had she been crying?
"I didn't think you were coming...", she said. "You never come..."
She turned back around. He didn't know what to do.
"Is this what you do?", he asked
She turned around and smiled at him. He wiped away one of her tears. He sat down next to her. She laid her head in his lap and looked up at him.
"I love looking at you like this", she said.
"Why?"
"You just look so ... big.", she laughed.
"You're too easy to entertain."
He would ask her right now...
"Abiona", he said.
"What?"
She sat up and looked at him as if he had something really important to say.
"It's about to rain.", he said.
Abiona stood up. "No,", she said. "I know when it's going to rain. It's like a sixth sense."
As she stood there, tiny drops of rain began to fall. She held out her arms and the drops got bigger and bigger until it was pouring. She was soaked. She looked over at Miroku. He was surrounded in sphere.
She walked toward him and held out her finger as if she was about to pop a bubble.
"No.", said Miroku. "If you penetrate my sphere, I'll get wet." When that didn't seem to convince her, he held up his hand. "I'm wearing my robes."
She pretended to think about it for a moment, then pulled him out anyway. She slipped and pulled him down with her.
Miroku was angry. At least he was until he heard her laughing. She was laughing. She hadn't been very happy lately. His soiled robes meant nothing to him. Had it never given him this much pleasure to see someone else happy?
They both got up. He grabbed her and they ran for the nearest tree.
"Kiss me", she said. He looked at her. "out of the bearded barley", she was singing. "Nightly, beside the green, green grass. Swing, swing, swing the spinning step. You wear those shoes and I will wear that dress."
She began dancing. "Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight." She grabbed his hands and pulled him out from under the tree. "Lead me out on the moonlit floor." She lifted up her hands. "Lift your open hand. Strike up the band and make the fireflies dance, silver moon’s sparkling." She wrapped her arms around Miroku's neck. "So kiss me..."
Miroku leaned in and kissed her. He wrapped his arms around her waist. His right hand began to venture it's way up Abiona's shirt. She quickly swat it away.
"What?", he asked.
"I don't know...", she replied. "It just felt wrong."
"What I am..." he said. "It DOES bother,... doesn't it?"
"It doesn't bother me as much as you think.", she said.
She turned her back to him and all he felt was rejection.
"I'm sorry," he said. "I shouldn't have..."
"Don't be sorry... It just doesn't feel right.."
"How can you say that when I KNOW you feel the same?!", he cried.
She turned to face him.
"Don't get dramatic with me, Miroku. It's not like that!"
"Why?!"
"Because you're a Monk!" She paused, "But it's not BECAUSE you're a Monk!"
"It's because we're TOO different!", she yelled. "Because you're so perfect and pure!"
Miroku let out a HUGE laugh. "ME?! The LECHER?!"
"Compared to me, you are! You have no idea where I've been, or what kind of things I've done!"
"But you're honest, and you don't so those things anymore!"
After a few moments, Abiona calmed down. "But I don't regret them...", she said.
"What are you afraid of?", he asked.
She didn't say anything. Instead, she just walked away.
"Your problem isn't that you're jaded! ... You're just a scared little girl!"
She didn't want to turn this into a fight. so she just kept walking.

* LATER THAT NIGHT *

Abiona couldn't sleep. She was sitting on the porch and running the things that Miroku had said through her head. She knew he was right.
"Something wrong?", asked Inuyasha, who had walked up behind her.
Startled, Abiona turned her head to him. "You're observant.", she said.
"Miroku seemed upset... He decided to sleep outside tonight." Inuyasha sat next to her. "Did you two have a fight?"
Abiona grunted.
"Miroku doesn't get angry easily", he continued. "At least, not with his friends... Don't let him know that I told you this, but he's always right." After a long silence, Inuyasha spoke again. "What's going on between you two?"
"That's none of your business.", she huffed.
As she stood, Inuyasha grabbed her wrist. She was so angry, that she ripped it away from him. She walked to her room and was about to get under her covers when she notcied that her hand was wet. She sniffed it, then licked it.
"Blood", she said.
She hadn't noticed... Inuyasha must have cut her with his claws. She dug through her bag.
"Kagome said that she put bandages in here.", she said to herself. She found them and wrapped them around her wrist where there were four cuts.

* THE NEXT DAY *

Abiona was eating with the gang. Miroku walked in to join them. Abiona ignored him until he sat right next to her. She got up and walked past him. Miroku grabbed her wounded arm. She gasped at the pain and jerked it away.
"What happened.", he asked.
"Nothing," she replied and continued outside.

* LATER THAT DAY *

Miroku was alone with Inuyasha. He circled him and stopped right in front of him.
"What are you doing?", asked Inuyasha.
"What happened between you and Abiona?", asked Miroku.
"Huh?", Inuyasha was confused.
"Abiona has a wound on her arm and you have what looks like dried blood under your nails."
Inuyasha looked down at his hands.
"That's strange", he said. "I didn't even notice..."
"What happened?", asked Miroku.
"Last night... I was trying to talk to her, ...but she wouldn't stay..."
"So you ATTACKED her?!"
"I did not ATTACK her!"
"I already told you, Inuyasha! She's not going to tell you anything! What's the big deal anyway?!"
"She's the only one who knows what's going on with Kagome!"
"That's it?!"
There was a long pause.
"If you had told her, she might have talked to you."
There was another pause as Inuyasha seemed to come to his senses.
"So... what did the two of YOU fight about?"
"That's none of your business!", replied Miroku.
"That's exactly what she said."

Alanis Morissette - Everything

I can be a nightmare of the grandest kind/I can withhold like it's going out of style/I have the bravest heart that you've ever seen/And you've never met anyone who's as positive as I am sometimes/You see everything, you see every part/You see all my light and you love my dark/You dig everything of which I'm ashamed/There's not anything to which you can't relate/And you're still here/I blame everyone else, not my own partaking/My passive-aggressiveness can be devastating/I'm the most gorgeous woman that you've ever known/And you've never met anyone who's as everything as I am sometimes/You see everything, you see every part/You see all my light and you love my dark/You dig everything of which I'm ashamed/There's not anything to which you can't relate/And you're still here/What I resist, persists, and speaks louder than I know/What I resist, you love, no matter how low or high I go/You see everything, you see every part/You see all my light and you love my dark/You dig everything of which I'm ashamed/There's not anything to which you can't relate/And you're still here

"Miroku..." someone was whispering his name. "Miroku..." He opened his eyes and Abiona pressed her lips to his. He was lying on his back and she was on top of him. He had been sleeping and all he had on was a robe. Abiona's hand reached down his sheets and she began stroking him. She smiled as he let out a soft moan.

Incubus - Here In My Room:

This party is old and uninviting/Participants all in black and white/You enter in full-blown technicolor/Nothing is the same after tonight/If the world would fall apart/In a fiction-worthy wind/I wouldn't change a thing/Now that you're here/Yeah, love is a ver/Here in my roo/Your love is a ver/Here in my room/You enter and close the door behind you/Now show me the world seen from the stars/If only the lights would dim a little/I'm weary of eyes upon my scars/If the world would fall apart/In a fiction-worthy wind/I wouldn't change a thing/Now that you're here/Yeah, love is a ver/Here in my roo/Your love is a ver/Here in my room/Pink tractorbeam into your incision/Head spinning as free as dervishs' whirl/I came here expecting next to nothing/So thank you for being that kind of girl/Kind of girl
