It was later that night when the guard came and opened the cell doors and told the two officers that they had posted bail. Inuyasha had told the guard that he would prefer to stay in the cell if at all possible until in the morning. The guard had assured the Colonel it wasn't possible for him to do that.
Sango stepped into the front office of the jail and noticed him. He was dressed in boots, Wranglers, and a t-shirt. He was also wearing a black cowboy hat and had a lit cigar in his right hand. She saw him crack a smile when he saw her.
"Howdy, Major. Did ya'll have a bit to much fun?" The Admiral couldn't hold his laughing back any longer.
Inuyasha then came into the room with his ears placed flat on his head and a very saddened look on his face.
"There's the scoundrel right now. Ha Ha. Inuyasha how long has it been since I had to bail you outta jail. Five years I believe. Not since you first got command." The Admiral looked at Sango and gave her a wink.
Sango couldn't believe that the Admiral was taking this so well. If any of her superior officers had to bail her out of jail they would have been mad as hell. She looked at Inuyasha who looked terrible. It almost looked as if he was about to pass out. To her surprise he did. The Admiral was able to run over and catch him before he hit the floor.
Sango ran over to help the Admiral drag Inuyasha outside and put him in the back of the Admiral's truck. The Major and Admiral quickly got into the cab and started driving.
"Poor boy, he hasn't been sleeping again has he?" The Admiral asked breaking the silence. He acknowledged Sango's nod. "He never does before a mission or during it."
It wasn't long before they passed the base and kept on going. The Admiral must have noticed Sango's confused look on her face.
"We are going to a house not far from the base, Major. I have owned it for years." He stated.

The Admiral drove up to what looked like a ranch house in the middle of nowhere. He got out and grabbed Inuyasha out of the back and motioned for Sango to go into the house. Once inside he carried Inuyasha up the stairs and tossed him down onto a queen sized bed. He told Sango to join him downstairs, but asked if she would take care of Inuyasha first before she came down.
Sango did as she was asked and started unbuttoning Inuyasha's shirt. She stared at his bare chest as she got his shirt off. 'Damn, it looks as if he was carved out of rock' Sango was licking her lips as she thought this. She managed to get both boots and socks off of the unconscious hanyou and moved to unbutton his pants. She was a little hesitant at first but overcame it quickly enough. When she had them unzipped and pulled off her mind went wild.
She was staring at the bulge in Inuyasha's briefs when Inuyasha started to wake. He was awakened by a strong scent, it was arousal, and it was strong. He barely opened his eyes and saw Sango there, but was asleep again because of exhaustion, before he realized what was going on.

The Admiral was sitting in a leather chair with a glass of whiskey in one hand and his cigar on an ashtray nearby. He glanced at Sango as she came down the stairs, he didn't see a mark on her so Inuyasha must have not done anything yet. He would have to fix that. He felt like a father to Inuyasha. He had been there for him ever since the military caught him. He was the one that convinced Inuyasha to work for the military in the special ops. He had pulled every string and called up every favor anyone ever owed him to get Inuyasha a command. He knew he had done the right thing, but the only thing was Inuyasha never opened up about hiself to anyone except the Admiral himself. Maybe Sango could change that, he had seen how close Inuyasha was to the Major when they came to his office whether Inuyasha noticed it or not. The Admiral drifted out of his train of thought as Sango sat down in a chair next to him. He took a drink of his whiskey and set it on the table. He grabbed his cigar and took a couple of puffs on it.
"Is he still sleeping, Major?" The Admiral asked though he already knew the answer.
"Yes, sir. Umm, sir we are off duty please call me Sango." Sango asked.
"As you wish, Sango. I got some of the story from the Sheriff, but would you mind filling me in on what happened tonight?" The Admiral said through the smoke of his cigar.
The Major started her story with how they ate dinner, how the man had insulted Inuyasha and how she had thrown him over a table. When she finished the Admiral nearly had tears in his eyes from laughing so much. He took another puff of his cigar and looked into Sango's brown eyes.
"Sango, Why did you do it?" The Admiral asked.
"Do what sir?" Sango was confused.
"Why did you defend Inuyasha? Seems to me you are the one who started the violence. Is there some reason you were compelled to toss a man around like he was nothing?" The Admiral raised an eyebrow as he saw Sango's mind starting to think of a logical excuse while she turned red.
The Admiral got out of his chair and walked over toward the staircase. He took a key and a letter out of his pocket and laid them on a tabletop on his way. 'Well, I guess its time to get this over with' he thought to himself.
"Sango, whatever you hear do not come up these stairs. Is that understood?" The Admiral saw her nod, he knew she didn't understand but he wasn't going to explain.
He made his way up the rest of the stairs. He went to the bathroom and filled up a cup of cold water. The Admiral made his way to the bedroom and closed the door behind him. Inuyasha lay on the bed asleep. The Admiral almost hated to wake him, but this had to be said.
Inuyasha woke to cold water being thrown in his face. He was instantly up and pounced on the person that had thrown the water. He was immediately caught in mid air; then rotated around with his arms behind his back. Inuyasha finally realized who it was and stopped struggling.
"Did you really have to do that Old Man?" Inuyasha asked, rage apparent in his tone.
"This old man just took you out of action, if I'm not mistaken." The Admiral released his grip on Inuyasha and allowed him to face him. "I didn't notice a mark on Sango, Inuyasha."
"Keh, you wouldn't. She has my scent on her, every demon can tell." Inuyasha blushed as he said this. He was also blushing because he was only in briefs in front of his commanding officer.
"Inuyasha, if you thought I was lyin' in that letter earlier, I'll let you know I wasn't." The Admiral stated, his authoritative tone back.

"That was the worst excuse you could've ever given me Colonel. The look in that woman's eyes when she sees you is one of pure love. I can't believe you can't see that. Maybe you're not good enough for her after all. Maybe I was wrong." The Admiral looked and Inuyasha and saw he was on the edge of consciousness. "But, I dought it. By the way the keys to the place along with the papers of ownership are on the table at the base of the stairs. Consider it a mating gift my boy."
The Admiral walked down the stairs, told Sango to attend to her Commanding Officer and walked out the door to his truck. Sango was on her way up the stairs when she saw that the Admiral had left as quickly as he had arrived.
She made it to the bedroom and saw Inuyasha sprawled out over the floor. He had a bit of blood coming from his lip and she wondered what had gone on between the two. Sango realized that Inuyasha was asleep before long. She just kissed him on his cheek and pulled the covers over their naked bodies. Sango continued to rub his ears and let his rumbling lull her to sleep.
