~*Recap*~
She was immersed in the sensations, his fingers were so talented. She moaned as he pushed aside her panties, and slipped a finger between her folds, gliding it gently against her clit, causing her hips to jerk. She gasped as he slowly slid a finger into her wet channel. It felt so good, she nearly cried. He began pumping his finger slowly and she gasped as he trailed white hot kisses from her neck up to her mouth. He added another finger and she almost screamed from sensation. “Oh! Kami! Sess–it feels so good!” she barely whispered as she imagined what his mouth would do in place of his fingers.
‘She’s so tight… I wish I could taste her!’ he almost moaned at the thought, when suddenly, he felt the ripples of her orgasm start, and he added a third finger as she screamed into his mouth. ‘I want her!’ he groaned inwardly at the tent in his business pants that was rapidly growing.
He leaned up off of her and slowly removed his fingers as she panted, letting her head fall to the blanket they’d spread out. “Was that sufficient?” he asked, causing her to laugh hoarsely.
“Y–yeah!” she gasped as she rolled on her side towards him.
Now on with the story:
He’d driven her home, her face so red, a cherry would be jealous. She managed to block the deep red on her cheeks with her hair, but he could still smell her embarrassment and smirked slightly. He was watching her as closely as he could, and still managed to keep the car from crashing. He found he ached for her; he wanted her to say the words so badly he almost couldn’t stand it. But he also knew that she needed time for all of the information to sink in. She would still take the job, and he hoped that she would stay with it until she graduated. He fully intended to allow her full reign, she was more than qualified to run a company if her grades were any indication. She could do whatever she wished, and he hoped she would stay on with Taishoki Industries.
“I hope that I haven’t scared you off, Kagome. You are still welcome to take the internship.” He said as he pulled up to her dorm. “I’m always a phone call away, if you need anything.” He said as he handed her a piece of paper with his phone number on it.
“Thank you, Sesshomaru, I will take the internship.” She said as she took the piece of paper and placed it in her pocket, letting her fingers wander back up to his and he leaned across the car, gently pressing his lips to hers lightly, trying to keep himself in check as he stroked her face as she returned the kiss tentatively, pressing sweetly against his mouth, so hard and so soft as she breathed in the scent of the youkai who happened to make her heart pound almost out of her chest. She gasped as his hand traveled to her chest and gently squeezed a breast. They broke apart and she lightly gasped for breath and smiled with a flustered tint to her cheeks.
She hadn’t been expecting the kiss he’d bestowed upon her at that moment and she gave in. ‘How can I love him? Do I love him?’ she thought as he pulled away, his golden eyes glittering half-lidded with passion. “I guess I should go.” She said as she gave him another quick peck on the lips, not realizing that she’d done it until afterwards.
“Yeah, I guess so.” He said, slowly releasing a breath he’d been holding. “I can pick you up tomorrow to start the paperwork for your internship.” He said, “o’clocksound all right?” he asked as she smiled sweetly and nodded, still slightly out of breath from their impromptu make-out session.
She got out and smiled as he offered to walk her to her door. “I can get it from here.” She said as she blinked. “Wait! I left my car in the parking lot at the office!” she said, surprised that she’d forgotten something like her own car.
“I’ll call and tell security not to have it towed on my way home.” He said reassuringly as he smirked at her.
“I still can’t believe I forgot my car!” she giggled, “You work fast! I’m already getting forgetful!” she said over her shoulder and made her way up to her dorm room. She was shocked when she got there, to find a familiar man standing in her doorway. “Hojo!” she said as she looked at him, almost feeling guilty as she remembered the lunch date they’d scheduled, but the sun was already beginning to set and she was shocked to realize that he’d probably been waiting all of this time for her in front of her door. ‘Damn! DAMN DAMN DAMN!’ she thought as she looked at the hurt expression on his face. “I’m so sorry! I got an e-mail offering me an internship for Taishoki Industries this morning and they scheduled me, and my phone was dead when I left my room!” she lied, knowing she’d scheduled the meeting at least a day in advance.
“It’s all right.” He said dejectedly, “You want to do dinner then?” he asked hopefully.
She suddenly felt torn between outright lying and saying she wasn’t feeling well, and telling him to fuck off because he wasn’t what she was ever looking for and he was just someone she pitied because he was so innocent, she did tend to get sick a lot in high school, or at least that’s what they told the school system, and could probably pull it off, but then he’d be fawning all over her like some sort of mother hen, and that wouldn’t be any good either. ‘Great, I’m thoroughly fucked!’ she thought as she tried to come up with something to tell him, maybe saying that she didn’t think it would work out between them, he just wasn’t what she was looking for. I thought I told those girls to stop setting me up with him in high school, but of course they listened as well as he perceived anything said. “Um, the interview was over dinner with a group of corporate heads that wanted to shoot off a million questions, I’m just kind of tired, but I’ll let you know when I’m free again, though I don’t know when that’ll be. I’ll give you a call and let you know.” She lied halfway.
“Okay, good night, Higurashi.” he said as she smiled and opened her door, fully expecting him to walk away, but he continued to stand there, looking a bit dejected. ‘Don’t do it, Kagome! Do NOT invite him in!’ she thought as she looked at him. She reluctantly pushed the door closed behind her, not wanting to see that look anymore and she locked the door and made her way to her room. She sighed as she fell onto the bed, not bothering to even remove her shoes; she closed her eyes and was surprised to find herself imagining a pair of honeyed topaz eyes. She smiled as she slowly drifted into a deep sleep.
Outside, Hojo stared at her door, fists clenched in repressed rage. He’d seen her, sitting in the front of a sports car, clinging to that hot shot businessman, kissing him like a lover rather than someone who was about to be your boss. “Liar.” He seethed as he nearly drew blood with his fingernails digging deeply into the flesh of his palms. He went around to the back of the building, finding her window cracked slightly and pulled out the screen. She was lying in her bed, curled up and not noticing anything amiss, including the jilted young man, moving with no plan just outside of her window. The window frame slid open quietly and he slipped in. He was suddenly standing over her bed; staring upon the face of the woman he’d suffered unrequited love for since high school. She seemed oblivious to his presence, even when she was awake. ‘If I can’t have you, no one will, we’ll see what you’ve been missing all of these years.’ He thought as he pressed her into the mattress, face down.
She awoke slowly, not realizing what was happening. She realized that she could barely breathe, and she groaned with the pressure of it. “Get… off…” she managed to gasp as the pressure behind her leaned over, straddling her hips.
“I saw you,” The voice whispered hoarsely in her ear. “Sucking the face of that bastard.”
“None… of your… business…” she trailed off breathlessly, trying to struggle but finding movement hard to achieve in the position she was in.
“You are a slut.” The voice groaned as she gasped, “You don’t even know I exist half of the time, but tonight, you will know me, do you feel that pressure? The one on your lower back?” she couldn’t find her voice, so she just nodded afraid of what he’d say next, “You are going to know every inch of that, deep inside of your tight, wet, cunt.” He whispered next to her ear, causing a deep shudder of fear and disgust to shoot through her spine.
‘Oh Kami! He’s going to rape me?! Sesshomaru! Help me!’ She thought as her clothes were suddenly torn from her back, rending effortlessly. The tears she’d been fighting back beginning to fall in thick streams down her face. “Don’t do this!” she begged as she tossed her head back and forth.
“I know you have a toy, where is it?” he asked as he kept his seat on her back. She gasped as he somehow managed to root through her dresser and keep his seat all at once.
A thought came to mind as he repeated his question and she smiled inwardly. “The–closet!” she managed to gasp. He had to get off of her and she took her chance, grabbing her bow and arrows and nocking one with expert speed and ability, even though the face of her attacker took her by complete surprise. “H–Hojo?” she stuttered as she held the bow expertly, not betraying her trembling body with her hands. “You–you were going to…” she gasped as she looked at him, “This isn’t going to work, Hojo. If you don’t leave now, I’ll shoot you straight through the heart!” she said in a deathly quiet voice as she realized that she was sitting there, threatening to kill him with a voice that Sesshomaru would be proud of, and a face to match. She looked calm, betraying no feeling in her chocolate eyes, her hair seemingly frozen in place, her face one of cool collection.
He stayed rooted to the spot, not wanting to leave. She was standing there, breasts bared to him like a gift. “I won’t leave.” He said as she backed off only slightly, reaching for her purse with her foot. She managed to hold the bow and arrow somehow while she pulled the piece of paper from her pocket and dialing it, still aiming at Hojo with death in her glare. She put the phone up to her ear and took her stance again. When Sesshomaru finally answered, she glared at Hojo.
“Sesshomaru, I need you. Now. Not that way!” she said, her voice cool, “I’ll explain when you get here. Apartment six.” She finished as she somehow managed to hang up and retake her stance completely, aiming directly at his chest, hoping to chase him away. She wanted so desperately to scream and cry out all of her pain. Her so called friend had just tried to rape her! She blinked back the tears and set her jaw, not wanting this bastard to see her cry. She stared him down, daring him to say anything else.
“Who is Sesshomaru?” Hojo asked, on edge.
“The hot shot.” She said, “And he’s deadly, if you don’t leave, and I don’t kill you, you’ll wish to die.” She growled. “So get the HELL out.”
He didn’t know what to do, Kagome was his! He would make it so, but the best choice would be to turn tail and run. She was aiming an arrow at his heart, acting as though she wanted to release it at any second. “Why don’t you let go, is it that bad, do you actually love me?” he asked as she looked at him, incredulous that he actually thought that she loved him.
She almost laughed but managed to reign in the urge and simply sneered, “I don’t love you, I only said yes because you were so lonely and looked so pitiful! I never wanted you if the girls would’ve just shut the hell up and had stopped speaking for me, even then I would’ve never said yes.” She bit out as she glared at him frustrated and almost let fly with the arrow on general principle, but she managed to hold her arrow until Sesshomaru appeared and she led Hojo before her to the front door. She opened it and suddenly, Hojo thought that maybe he should’ve left when she’d turned him down again. This guy was at least six and a half feet tall, but he looked a bit girly with the tattoos on his face and a long braid down the center of his back. “Thank God you’re here, Sesshomaru, I don’t know how much longer my arms would’ve held out with this stupid thing.” She said, indicating her bow with the string slack, but the arrow still nocked.
“What has happened?” he asked, taking note of Kagome’s state of half dress, and the frantic beating of her heart.
“You’re stealing my girl you bastard!” Hojo said, beginning to rush the bemused taiyoukai.
Sesshomaru sidestepped the angry college boy and quirked an eyebrow at him in slight curiosity. “If you plan on living through the night, I suggest you make an exit from this dorm immediately, and never return, because due to her lack of dress, I have an idea of what you’ve done, and she is deadly with that bow, and my fuse is short. Get out of this apartment, right now.” He said as he rapped the boy on the head with a steel fist. The boy raced out, gripping his head. Once he was out, Kagome dropped her bow from suddenly limp fingers and she fell to the floor, Sesshomaru knelt beside her and she slumped into his arms, sobbing as he stroked her hair, rethinking his choice to let the errant boy live. Kagome clutched his shirt and he held her against his chest, feeling helpless to calm her. “Are you all right?” he whispered as he leaned his cheek against the top of her head.
“I–I’m fine, he–he tried to–“ she choked out around her sobs.
“You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.” He whispered.
She nodded and looked up at him, wiping the tears off of her cheeks, “How’d you get here so fast?” she sniffled.
“I was on my way here when you called.” He said, “I had a gut feeling that you were in trouble.” He whispered.
“Thank you.” She whispered as she laid her head against his chest and he walked over and laid her on the bed, securely locking the window and going out to the living room to lock the front door before that Hobo boy could return.
He went into the bathroom and got her a washcloth and wet it down, he didn’t know if the boy had actually harmed her physically, but at least she was still predictable even after all of this time: always in trouble. He went to her and gave her the washcloth and knelt down, tilting her face up to wipe the tears off of her face with the cool cloth. “Did he hit you?”
She shook her head as she let him wipe her face. Reveling in the cool cloth stroking her face as she closed her eyes. “I was so scared at first, he had me pinned. He was sitting on my back, I couldn’t breathe… it was like being back there in Sengoku Jidai… completely consumed by fear, always looking for a way to get away… then the other part of that section of my life came out, I went into battle mode. I went almost numb, I saw my opening and made my move.” She muttered, not even noticing that he’d stopped wiping her face and had begun swiping away the tears with the pad of his thumb. “He had to get up off of me for a minute, it was a huge mistake, but it was my only opening, I jumped up, grabbed my bow and called you.” She whispered as she sniffled slightly.
“I am proud of you. You thought quickly on your feet, you are very brave.” He said as he pulled her into his arms. “Your strength is beautiful.” He said as she kissed his cheek.
“You got him to leave.” She whispered into his shirt.
“You’re welcome.” He said as he let her relax into his hold.
‘He’s my hero… I never thought I would even think that again.’ She let her eyes drift closed as she slowly began to doze.
He lifted her gently and rose from the floor. He laid her on her bed and lay beside her as she slept. He watched over her until the sun was well into the sky and finally got up to cook her breakfast. He looked into her room and sighed as he walked into her kitchen. The dorm was very small and could use more space, just looking at the kitchen made him cringe from the thought that she wouldn’t have the things he would need to fix her a breakfast healthy enough for a young woman such as her. He began to rummage through the cupboards.
After an hour of searching to find only macaroni and cheese and a few other snack foods that provided little if any nutritional value, he decided to wait for her to wake up and he’d take them to breakfast. He went into her room and waited for her to wake up. Having nothing else to do, he thought over the night before.
He’d been on the road, driving the fifty miles to his house, he knew before he’d conveniently forgotten to drive her back to her car that it’d be a long drive home if she didn’t invite him in. He’d gotten about fifteen minutes away when something in his mind screamed to him to turn around. He didn’t question his instincts, they’d kept him alive for well over a millennium. He pulled a rather impressive u turn and sped back towards her apartment, ten minutes away, his phone rang, it was her. Something was wrong; he could hear it in the way her voice shook. He’d picked up more speed and reached her dorm quickly. No question that he’d known immediately what had happened, but was glad to find that she’d been relatively untouched. She was better at saving herself than she thought she was. He was just glad she thought so well on her feet.
He shook himself out of his thoughts and picked up his phone, he knew what she needed most so he dialed his office and stepped out of her room. “This is Sesshomaru.” He said, this surprise was just what Kagome would need.
