Chapter 11

Friday

The last couple of days for Kagome were pretty relaxing. Miroku had closed the bar for a day to remodel and fix some things. Ayumi didn't need any help at the daycare. Some of the parents were taking their kids with them on vacation.

She spent the last couple of days lounging around her apartment. Now it was Friday and she needed to get ready for her date. She ran around her room to find something nice to wear. He had said wear something formal nice. She still couldn't figure out how nice.

When she had noticed she only had an hour to get ready she jumped in the shower. When she was done she looked for something to wear. She decided on a black dress with spaghetti straps that went down to her knees and heels. It wasn't too fancy but it wasn't too casual either.

She got dressed and started fixing her hair. She didn't put on any makeup because she didn't see the point. She didn't even want to go on the date. She only agreed because he had done so many things for her already. She barely even knew him.

She was just about done with her hair when there was a knock at the door. She got up and answered the door. It was Inuyasha and he was right on time to. "Hello Kagome. You look beautiful." Inuyasha said.

Kagome blushed. "Thank you. I'm almost ready. You can have a seat on the couch." She said and walked back into her bedroom.

Inuyasha sat down and waited for her. She really did look beautiful. Kagome walked out of her room with her hair tied up in a fancy bun. "I'm ready." She said.

"Lets go then." Inuyasha said. "I made reservations for seven thirty."

Kagome nodded and grabbed her purse and jacket. They left the building and got into his car. They were silent as they made their way to the restaurant. When they got out they the car was taken and they were led into the restaurant.

"Name?" The waiter in the front asked.

"Tetsusaiga." Inuyasha said.

"Ah right this way Mr. Tetsusaiga we have your reserved window seat ready for you." The waiter said.

Inuyasha took Kagome's arm as they followed the waiter. Kagome looked around at all the chandeliers that were hanging from the ceiling. She'd never seen a place so fancy. When they got to their table they were upstairs on the top floor by a window.

Inuyasha pulled out Kagome's seat and motioned for her to sit down. "Arigato." She said. She looked around. The view was great. You could see the water just below. The floor they were in was decorated with sweet smelling candles all around the room creating a comfortable atmosphere.

"This place is great Inuyasha." Kagome said still looking at various things.

"So you like it?" Inuyasha asked.

"Hai, it's beautiful." Kagome said. "I've never been to a place so fancy before."

"You haven't? None of your boyfriends have ever taken you anywhere fancy?" Inuyasha asked.

"I never really had a boyfriend before." Kagome said.

"Why not?"

A waiter came by with food. Kagome was confused because they hadn't ordered anything. She hadn't even seen a menu. "I ordered ahead. I hope you don't mind I ordered you a salad." Inuyasha said.

"No, its fine I would've ordered a salad anyway."

"I thought you would. You don't seem like the type to eat meat."

"I don't eat meat too often so I'm not really vegetarian." Kagome said.

"Are you going to answer my question?"

"Well I wasn't really interested in dating anyone. No one really caught my attention."

"You have been asked out before though right?"

"Hai, you've already met Kouga."

"I don't like him. I don't like his attitude."

"Like yours is any better?"

"Of course it is. I just don't like him. Can't you go five minutes without starting an argument?"

"Its not me who starts them. You're the one who insults me all the time. I hardly even know you."

"Lets just eat then." Inuyasha said. He didn't want to start another argument.

They had finished dinner without another argument. They had a decent conversation and both of them were able to get to know each other. Inuyasha was more attracted to her every second he was with her. He didn't know what it was that drew him in.

They left the restaurant after Inuyasha had paid. Kagome had offered to help pay but he just said that it wasn't proper for her to pay since he invited her on the date. She didn't want to argue so she let it go.

They had gotten in the car and Kagome had realized he wasn't taking her home yet. "Where are we going now?" She asked. She needed to get to work.

"I thought we'd go to Tokyo Tower." Inuyasha said. (In my fic there is a Tokyo tower. I don't know if there really is one or not I can't remember. It's open until two in the morning for party purposes. It's my fic and I can do what I want.)

"Dinner was enough you know." Kagome said.

"I don't care. We're going." Inuyasha said in a tone that left no room for argument. He drove until they reached the tower. Kagome looked up at the top. The lights coming from the windows made the tower look even more beautiful.

They rode the elevator to the top. Surprisingly no one was up there with them. They walked outside to look at all the building lights. "It's beautiful." Kagome said.

"You act like you've never been here." Inuyasha said. The look on Kagome's face said otherwise. "You haven't been here?"

"No, I never really thought about coming here."

"You must be the only person I've ever met who hasn't been here before."

"Why did you bring me here?" Kagome asked.

"I thought you'd like the view." Inuyasha said.

"You were right. I love the view." Kagome said. She looked back out at the lights. "It's so beautiful."

"You're beautiful." Inuyasha said grabbing her hand. Kagome looked at him and blushed. He leaned down and gently pressed his lips to hers so if she wanted to move away she could. She didn't move away. He pulled back and watched her blush once again. "Come on let's go to the club. I know you still have to work."

"Hai." Kagome said in a shy voice. She couldn't believe he kissed her.

They got into the elevator and walked in silence to Inuyasha's car. He drove to the club and parked out in front of it when they got there. He wanted to go in but he had things to do. "I want to see you again. I'll call you?" He asked.

"Hai." Kagome blushed. "Thank you Inuyasha." She got out of the car and walked into the club.

Inuyasha sat back in his seat. The night was perfect. He got to know her better and he even got to kiss her. He started his car. He needed to get home and hurry up and finish setting up Shippo's room so he could call Kagome sooner.

Kagome walked into the bar and waved to Sango and Rin. "Where's Miroku?" She asked.

"He went to get some new things out of his car." Sango said.

"What are you all dressed up for Kagome?" Rin asked.

"I had a date." Kagome blushed.

"Oh really with who?" Sango asked.

"Inuyasha." Rin said. "Sesshomaru told me."

"So how'd it go?" Sango asked.

"It was great." Kagome said. "We went to a fancy restaurant and to the Tokyo Tower."

"I thought you didn't like him." Sango said.

"Well I don't know. He's nice." Kagome said.

"Your blushing Kagome." Rin giggled.

"Here are your outfits for tonight." Miroku said popping up in front of everyone.

"Miroku don't do that." Sango yelled.

"I'm sorry my love." He said. He handed the uniforms out and shoved them into the back room to change.

"I wonder what it is this time." Sango said.

"It's actually kind of cute if you ignore the amount of skin it shows." Rin said.

"Miroku asked you to help him didn't he?" Sango asked.

"I can't help it. If I have to wear the clothes I might as well help design them." Rin said in defense.

"She's right you know." Kagome said. The girls got dressed and walked out of the room.

"You and you're big mouth." Sango said to Rin.

"Gomen I didn't think he'd actually use the suggestion. It wasn't even really a suggestion." Rin said.

The girls were wearing a bunny outfit. They had ears and the suit was a white bathing suit type thing with a pink circle on the stomach. The good thing about this outfit was it had a skirt with a bunny tail and white high heels.

"At least it has a skirt." Kagome said.

"I added that part." Rin said.

"How'd you get Miroku to agree to it?" Sango asked.

"I just told him a lot more guys would hit on you." Rin said.

"What did he say about that?" Kagome asked.

"He said `I'm the only one who can touch my dearest Sango.'" Rin said imitating his voice.

"I don't sound like that." Miroku said walking up to them. "Besides it's true." He walked up to Sango and squeezed her butt. Sango blushed and tried to hit him but he dodged it.

"Hentai." Sango yelled.

"You like it." Miroku said, which caused Sango to blush even more. He went back into the room before anything could be said.

"Oh so do you my dear sister?" Rin said.

"You're just as perverted as him. Miroku rubbed off on you." Kagome said.

"Yeah well you're dating an emotionless guy and you're dating a jerk." Sango yelled and pointed at each one when she described the guy. The girls just looked at each other and laughed. The conversation was pointless and stupid.
