Chapter 20

Karma

Inuyasha and Kagome had just gotten to the club. They were late because of Inuyasha's little `meal'. "Hey Sango, hey Rin." Kagome said. Inuyasha went in the back with Miroku and Sesshomaru.

"You'll never guess what I saw this morning Kagome." Rin smiled.

"Rin!" Sango blushed.

"What did you see?" Kagome asked eagerly. She wanted to know what was so amusing.

"I woke up this morning and went to ask Sango if she wanted breakfast and mph." Sango had covered Rin's mouth with her hand before she could finish.

Kagome looked at Sango. Her cheeks were bright red. Rin pried Sango's hand away from her mouth long enough to shout, "Miroku was in her bed."

"RIN!" Sango said.

Kagome laughed but stopped when Sango glared at her. "I thought you were against his lecherous ways?" Kagome giggled.

"I guess Miroku isn't the only hentai." Rin laughed.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU GUYS." Sango yelled.

Kagome and Rin screamed. They took off running towards the VIP room. Rin managed to fling the door open.

Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, and Miroku looked up when they heard the doorknob turning. Inuyasha was standing towards the right and Sesshomaru and Miroku were sitting down. Suddenly they heard screaming and the door was flung open.

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru didn't even see the girls coming. Kagome ran at full speed and jumped on Inuyasha. He was caught off guard and was thrown back into the wall. "What the hell?" Inuyasha said.

Sesshomaru was sitting down when Rin ran to him. She jumped on his lap, threw her arms around his neck and buried her face in his hair. "Rin?" He said.

Miroku just stood there stupefied. What the hell was going on? It was a question the other guys wanted answered to. Sango ran into the room and saw Kagome and Rin. She was debating on which one to kill first. "Sango, what's going on?" Miroku asked.

"Take her away Miroku. She's going to kill us." Rin laughed from Sesshomaru's lap.

"You can distract her." Kagome laughed.

Miroku looked questionably at Sango. Her face was red and she looked mad. Sango took in a deep breath and tried to calm herself down. "Nothing's wrong." Sango said sweetly. She kissed Miroku on the nose and went back to the bar.

"I don't like how she said that." Kagome said.

"Neither do I." Rin said.

Kagome was waiting for Inuyasha to put her down. She had her legs wrapped around his waist and her arms around his neck. He was holding her waist, leaning against the wall. He didn't look like he was going to be putting her down anytime soon.

"Um, Inuyasha..." Kagome said.

"What?" Inuyasha asked.

"You can put me down now." Kagome said.

"Keh." Inuyasha said while helping her stand.

Rin crawled out of Sesshomaru's lap. "Gomen, I hope you didn't mind me using you as a chair." Rin smiled. Sesshomaru shook his head. He didn't mind her on his lap at all.

"Gomen Inuyasha." Kagome said. "I hope I didn't hurt your back when I jumped on you."

"It didn't hurt. You just surprised me." Inuyasha said.

"Well we're going to go back to work." Rin said. Her and Kagome waved as they left.

Miroku shook his head. "Glad my Sango is sane." He said.

"Shut up Miroku." Inuyasha and Sesshomaru said at the same time.

Rin and Kagome approached Sango hesitantly. "Sorry Sango. No hard feelings?" Rin said.

"Nope no hard feelings." Sango smiled. The girls let out a breath. "I'll have my revenge soon."

Kagome and Rin looked at each other. Sango was one of those girls that would do it too. "I am not looking forward to how this turns out." Kagome said.

"I should have kept my mouth shut." Rin said. Sango walked into the back. She turned to Kagome. "So you want to hear what happened?"

As soon as everything was set up Miroku walked up to them with another box. The girls groaned knowing what was in the box. "Oh come on. You might like one of the outfits." Miroku said.

"Did you design them?" Kagome asked. "Because if you did, we won't like them."

"Rin designed them this time." Miroku said.

"Oh yeah, you said you'd use my outfits this time." Rin said. She grabbed the box. "Come on lets get dressed."

Kagome and Sango followed her into the back room. Inuyasha and Sesshomaru came out of the room. "What did you want us to come out here for?" Inuyasha asked.

"To see the girls' outfit of course." Miroku said.

The girls came out with cat outfits on. Each of them had a pair of kitty ears on top of their heads. At their waist was a short skirt that had a tail coming out of the back. They had white shirts with black cat prints all over it.

"Looks nice." Sesshomaru said.

"Dogs are better." Inuyasha said.

"It looks great. Good job Rin." Miroku said.

"Arigato. I think in favor of Inuyasha I'll design dog ones then. That is, if you'll let me, Miroku." Rin said.

"I think that's a great idea." Miroku said. People were starting to come in. "Let's get to work."

Inuyasha walked past Kagome, he leaned down next to her ear. "You look good." He whispered and followed Sesshomaru and Miroku to the back. Kagome blushed and went to go take some orders.

The night was over and everyone was ready to leave. They were standing outside while Miroku locked up the club. "So Miroku, what do you want us to do with the outfits?" Kagome asked. She'd kept them all and kept forgetting to ask him.

"You can keep them. I wouldn't throw them away. There have been a lot of requests for some of them." Miroku smiled. "Besides I'm sure Inuyasha would enjoy it if you wore them every once in a while. Same thing with Sesshomaru."

"Miroku!" Kagome and Rin yelled.

"I was just saying." Miroku said.

"Come on Kagome." Inuyasha said pulling her to his car.

"Is someone eager to get home?" Miroku smiled.

"Shut it, lecher." Inuyasha glared. Kagome waved goodbye to everyone and got into the car. They drove in silence on the way to her apartment. He parked in front of the building. "You know it would be nice if you wore some of those outfits for me."

"Oh, and which one did you want me to wear?" Kagome asked.

"I liked them all but mostly the school girl outfit." Inuyasha smiled.

"Is it every guy's fantasy to see their girlfriend in a school girl outfit?" Kagome asked.

"Probably." Inuyasha said.

Kagome hit his chest. "Keep dreaming." She rolled her eyes. "Arigato for the ride."

Inuyasha leaned over to kiss her. He grabbed her chin and tilted her head to deepen the kiss. His tongue slipped into her mouth to once again taste her sweetness. He pulled back to see her blushing. "See you tomorrow." He said.

"Bye." Kagome said getting out of the car.

He watched her leave before starting the car. He drove home and parked his car in his usual spot. He took the elevator to his floor and quietly walked in. As soon as he walked into the living room he was knocked down.

"Dammit." Inuyasha yelled. He looked at what knocked him down. "Shippo, what the hell are you doing?"

"I was just saying hi." Shippo said.

"What are you still up for, anyway?" Inuyasha asked getting up.

"Myoga said I could stay up and bug you when you came home." Shippo said.

"Did he? Where is the old man?" Inuyasha asked. Someone from behind hit him in the head.

"Don't disrespect your elders." Myoga said.

"You've got a lot of nerve old man." Inuyasha said. "What's with telling Shippo he could stay up?"

"I never said he could stay up. He thought you would bring Kagome with you so he stayed up." Myoga said.

"Are you that attached to her?" Inuyasha asked Shippo.

"I like Kagome. She's nice." Shippo said.

"It's too late." Inuyasha said. "She has to go to sleep."

"Why doesn't she sleep over like last time?" Shippo asked.

"Like last time?" Myoga said. "How could you take advantage of such a lovely young lady?"

"I didn't take advantage of her. She got locked out of her apartment." Inuyasha said.

"How would he take advantage of her?" Shippo asked.

"That's none of your business. I didn't take advantage of her." Inuyasha said. "Thanks for watching Shippo, Myoga. Let's go runt, time to go to sleep."

"Good-bye Inuyasha." Myoga said. He walked out of the front door.

Inuyasha dragged Shippo to his room. "Can you ask Kagome to come over tomorrow?" Shippo said.

"I'll ask her about it." Inuyasha said.

"I want to show her my new drawing." Shippo said. "It's on the fridge."

"That's nice." Inuyasha said. "Now go to sleep."

Shippo pulled the blanket up to his chin and yawned. "Night Inuyasha." He said.

"Goodnight." Inuyasha said. He closed the door and went to his room. He changed his clothes and got into bed. He closed his eyes and went to sleep.

Kagome walked into her apartment and checked her messages. "One new message: Kagome, it's your mother. I was wondering when you were going to come visit. Souta misses you even though he won't admit it. Call me when you get home. End of Message."

Kagome erased the messages. She went into her room and changed into her pajamas. She hadn't visited her family for a while. She crawled into bed and went to sleep.
