Chapter 44

Appointment

As soon as the club was emptied, the girls sat down. The guys were still in the VIP room, doing Kami knows what. "Could you guys come with me tomorrow when I get tested?" Rin asked.

"Of course. How are we going to get there? I doubt you want Sesshomaru to know anything yet." Kagome asked.

"I could always steal Miroku's car again." Sango smiled mischievously.

"My appointment is at one." Rin said.

"How is this all going to work out?" Kagome asked.

"I could get Miroku to lend me his car." Sango said.

"How will you do that without him getting suspicious or asking questions?" Rin asked.

"I'll think of something." Sango smiled.

"I hope you think of something fast, because they're coming." Kagome said.

Sango had to think of something quick and smiled when she thought of an idea. She was sure to get Miroku. "Everyone's gone already?" Miroku asked.

"Hai." Sango said. She walked around and hugged him from behind. "Miroku, can I borrow your car tomorrow?"

"Like you borrowed it earlier this morning?" Miroku asked.

"Please?" Sango asked pushing her breasts against his back. It went unnoticed by everyone else. "I won't take it without asking. Besides, I'm still mad at your for your comment a while ago. I will forgive you if you let me borrow it."

Miroku shivered when he felt her intentionally push her breast against him. He couldn't really think clearly and dumbly nodded his head once again proving that a woman is a man's weakness. (No offence guys!)

Inuyasha and Sesshomaru both rolled their eyes and tried desperately not to look at their girlfriends. They didn't want to make fools of themselves again. Especially since they've worn more revealing clothes and the guys had seen all of the girls.

"Arigato." Sango said and kissed Miroku on the cheek. She winked at the girls, happy that her plan worked. "I'm ready to go home. I'm tired."

"Me too." Rin said.

"Let's go then." Sesshomaru said. He wrapped his arm around Rin and they walked outside.

"I'll lock up." Miroku said.

"Let's go, Inuyasha." Kagome tugged gently on his arm.

"Yeah, yeah." Inuyasha mumbled still upset about how stupid he acted earlier. He was hoping Kagome hadn't caught that or she'd use it against him in the future.

They both walked out of the club and said their goodbyes to Miroku and Sango. They got into the car and drove home.

Once inside Kagome kicked her heels off to the side of the room. "Hey, weren't we supposed to pick Shippo up?" She asked.

"The old man is dropping him off tonight." Inuyasha said. A knock on the door told them that Myoga was there with Shippo.

Kagome opened the door. "Arigato Myoga." She said.

"No problem. I think he's worn out." Myoga laughed as Shippo yawned and tried to stay balanced.

Inuyasha walked over and picked him up. "I'll take him to his room." And he headed down the hallway.

"He's gotten better with Shippo." Myoga said. "I believe you influenced his new behavior towards him."

"I didn't do anything." Kagome said. "I do know that they get along better. They care more for each other now."

"You may not know it but you've changed him a lot." Myoga smiled and walked away.

Kagome shut the door. `Did I really change him that much?' She wondered. Her thoughts were interrupted when Inuyasha walked into the room.

"Why are you just standing there?" Inuyasha asked.

"I was just thinking." Kagome said. She headed for her room to change out of the outfit.

Inuyasha followed her shortly after. Tired he stripped out of his shirt and pants leaving only his boxers on. Kagome, still a little shy about the nudity kept her back facing him. If she couldn't see his face then it wasn't as embarrassing.

As soon as the nightgown was pulled over her head Inuyasha grabbed her and pulled her onto the bed. They both rolled until Inuyasha was on top. He leaned down and gently brushed his lips against hers. Kagome wrapped her arms around his neck, bringing him closer. Inuyasha dominated the kiss by slipping his tongue into her mouth.

Their tongues brushed against each other a couple of times before breaking the kiss for air. Inuyasha flipped them over so that Kagome's head rested in the crook of his neck. He kissed her forehead and pulled the covers over them.

"I'm leaving now!" Kagome yelled out to Inuyasha.

"Wait." Inuyasha said as he walked towards her.

"What?" Kagome asked.

Inuyasha leaned down and kissed her. "Have fun." He smirked.

Kagome glared at him and shut the door. He just wanted to kiss her before he left. He'd already hopped into the shower with her that morning. Supposedly he wasn't clean. She wasn't stupid. Luckily Shippo stayed asleep for that whole time. He woke about ten minutes after they were dressed.

Right now, Rin was more important, so she got ready as fast as she could, with the exception of Inuyasha's interruption of course. She had to meet Sango and Rin outside. They all told their boyfriends that they were going to see a movie. The only reason Inuyasha let her go without complaint was because she promised she'd spend time with him the next day.

"Hey, Kagome." Rin said from out the window of the car.

"Hey Rin, Sango." Kagome said as she climbed into the car.

"I'm surprised you're out as early as you are." Sango said.

"What do you mean?" Kagome asked.

"Inuyasha usually argues with you about everything you do." Sango said as she started the car. "I'm surprised you weren't arguing or something. Or were you?"

"No, I promised him I'd spend time with him tomorrow." Kagome said. "So, he didn't argue. I told him we were seeing a movie, so if we're not back within two hours he'll go off again."

"I didn't have to tell Sesshomaru anything. He's at work." Rin said.

"Miroku didn't even ask. He was still asleep when I left." Sango said.

"What did you guys do last night?" Rin giggled. "I saw the glazed look in Miroku's eyes."

Sango blushed not denying anything. She had set him off with her little stunt last night. "So you did do something." Kagome laughed.

"Like you haven't done anything with Inuyasha!" Sango stuttered in embarrassment.

Kagome stopped laughing and blushed. "Your not denying it either." Rin said.

"You're the one who thinks their pregnant." Kagome said.

"Your right." Rin laughed.

The girls just laughed at themselves for embarrassing one another. "Are you nervous about the testing?" Sango asked.

"Not really. I probably won't get nervous until I have to tell Sesshomaru." Rin said.

"Yeah I can't picture him ever having kids. He seems so serious all the time." Sango said.

"You never know." Kagome said.

"She's right. He's not always so serious...well a majority of the time he is." Rin said.

The rest of the ride to the doctor's office was ridden in silence. They all walked into the doctor's office and checked in. "Tajiya, Rin, you may see the doctor now." A nurse said.

(Okay so I don't know how exactly pregnancy tests with the doctors are. I don't have to go through that and I don't ask people. Bear with me on the details. If someone could let me know I'd be grateful and I could throw it in later.)

"That sucks." Sango said a little irritated.

"I know, I won't know the results for another week." Rin said.

"At least you'll find out." Kagome said.

"True." Rin sighed.

"Did we have to be there for that long though?" Sango asked. They were there for over an hour.

"Well, Doctor Takinawa needed my information. It's been a while since I've had a checkup or anything." Rin said.

"The good thing is that you'll know soon. You'll have to wait but it's better than finding out when you start gaining weight and throwing up." Kagome got into the car.

"That would be a bad way to find out. I'd like to be prepared." Rin said as she got in.

"I guess we should get going. Inuyasha might throw a hissy fit if we're gone longer than we said." Sango teased.

"He's not my keeper you know." Kagome snapped.

"Sure he's not." Sango laughed.

"Oh, you're lucky you're driving the car right now." Kagome threatened.

"Let's just get you home, ok?" Sango said.

"Sango!" Kagome shouted.

"What, I'm just saying." Sango giggled.

"Ugh...anyways, so has Miroku told you about what outfit we might wear tonight?" Kagome asked.

"He never tells me that. He always says, `You'll find out tonight, be patient.'" Sango frowned.

"He loves his secrets." Rin said.

"Of course he does. I think it gives him a sense of power." Sango said.

"That's Miroku for you." Kagome laughed.

Aww you don't get to figure out if she's pregnant or not. I know most of you wanted Kagome to be pregnant first. I'm still trying to figure out the Rin thing. Some of you have some good reasons not to make her pregnant. I know many of you want it to happen. Something will happen eventually. I just hope I don't make it too cheesy. I hope even if I don't do something you like you'll still read my fic.

Sorry for the late update. I've been busy. Schoolwork has taken its toll on me and I need a break. I kinda rested after my exhibition project and before finals. I'll be busy with that soon too. Don't forget to send me ideas. I could use some for some outfits.
