Too Much To Drink

Everyone had been panicking since they first started making plans for the wedding. Rin was hysterical. She didn't think everything would be done in time and would break down in frustration. Sesshomaru being his cool usual self helped out in calming her down.

Miroku closed the club sometimes or just opened it without Rin's help. Sesshomaru refused to let her work under such stressful conditions. He barely went to work either, although if he missed work it wouldn't matter.

Tonight was supposed to be a before the wedding party. Neither Sesshomaru nor Rin wanted a bachelor party so they decided to have a party before the wedding, which was about a week away. It was being held at the club.

Kagome was running around her room tearing everything apart. She was looking for her birth control pills. She had put them in the top drawer of the dresser and now she couldn't find it. The party was in about an hour and she wasn't even ready yet.

Inuyasha walked into the room and saw clothes everywhere. "What the hell?" Inuyasha yelled. "What are you doing?"

"I'm looking for something." Kagome said not stopping her search.

"Will you get dressed already?" Inuyasha asked. "We have to leave soon. Shippo needs to be dropped off at Kohaku's before we head over to the club."

"But-" Kagome said.

Inuyasha held her still. "Get ready. I'll be back in ten minutes and if your not dressed then I'll do it for you." He threatened before walking out of the room.

Not wanting to have her boyfriend dress her Kagome gave up on her search and started to change. She could always look for them after the party. She walked over to her closet and grabbed her dress.

She changed into a low cut red dress. It was spaghetti strapped and went just above her knees. Inuyasha had bought it for her the day before. She put matching heels on her foot and put her hair up in a fancy bun.

Ten minutes later as he said Inuyasha walked into the room. "It's about time. Get your coat and let's go." He said.

Kagome rolled her eyes and did what he said. He'd been in a bad mood the last couple of weeks because Kagome had been ignoring him again. She didn't mean to but the wedding needed to be arranged within a month and wasn't nearly enough time to plan.

Inuyasha tried not to let it get to him since it was his brother's wedding but was starting to lose it. The last time Kagome and him had spent any time together was the one night when Kagome apologized for ignoring him so much. It was just repeating again.

Ever since then they were either really busy or too tired to do anything. Shippo would also interrupt every once in a while too. Kagome was also worried because they hadn't heard anything from the adoption agency yet. When Inuyasha called them they said it would take a while for any paperwork to be looked at.

Inuyasha and Kagome as usual were the last ones to arrive. All the guests had already been there for a while. Some of Sesshomaru's business associates and a couple of Rin's family members were there.

"I hope your not going to be late to our wedding either." Sesshomaru said as they sat down.

"Shut up. Kagome took to long to get ready and trashed our room." Inuyasha said.

"I told you I was looking for something." Kagome said not wanting to say what aloud. It was something other people didn't need to know.

"Whatever." Inuyasha said.

Miroku walked over to their table and put drinks on their table. "I don't drink." Kagome said.

"Come on it's a party for Rin and Sesshomaru." Sango smiled.

Kagome shrugged and took the drink.

The party was over and everyone but Sesshomaru, Rin, Miroku, Sango, Inuyasha, and Kagome had left. Kagome had a little too much to drink and Inuyasha was helping her to the car.

"See you guys later." Inuyasha said. "Good thing Shippo is staying over at Kohaku's."

Inuyasha dragged Kagome to his car and buckled her in. He didn't drink that much at the party so he could drive home.

Kagome was sleeping and Inuyasha had to carry her upstairs. He opened the door to their bedroom. He laid her on the cleanest part of the bed for a minute so he could brush all the clothes off of the bed. They'd left the room dirty since neither of them had time to clean it.

Kagome woke up to the noise and sat up. "Where are we?" She asked still a little buzzed.

"Home." Inuyasha said. He pulled his shoes off of his feet. "Go to sleep. You're going to have one hell of a hangover in the morning."

"I don't want to." Kagome whined. She crawled over to Inuyasha and sat in his lap. She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

Inuyasha wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her back. Then he remembered she was drunk. It wouldn't be right. He pulled back from the kiss. "Come on you need to get some sleep. It's late enough as it is." He said.

Kagome ignored him and started kissing his neck. Seeing as how he was trying to ignore her she stood up and straddled his waist. She pressed herself up against him and nibbled on his ear.

Inuyasha tried his best to bite back a moan but couldn't hold it in when Kagome moved her hand from his neck to lower regions. Not being able to hold back he pressed his lips against hers in a heated kiss.

Quickly he moved so that she was lying down on the bed. He pulled his shirt off and leaned over Kagome. She smiled knowing she got her way and began pulling on his pants. Getting the hint Inuyasha started unzipping them. He kicked them off along with his boxers and set to removing her clothes.

Not having any patience Inuyasha ripped the dress down the middle. The material was thin and the straps were easy to rip. He pulled the dress from under her and rid her of her bra and panties easily.

Kagome giggled and brought his head down to kiss him. He smiled before their lips touched and began to fondle her breasts. Kagome moaned and her hands roamed up and down his back.

Fully aroused and impatient, Inuyasha positioned himself and thrusted into her. They both shared a moan as they moved with each other, their pleasure growing more intense by the second.

"Inuyasha." Kagome moaned.

He smirked and began to kiss and lick her breasts. Kagome arched her back encouraging him to continue. Their bodies were slick with sweat as they were both closer to completion.

Inuyasha brought his lips down on her for the last time before Kagome's muscles tightened around him and gave him the last push for his completion. They both panted heavily as they road out their orgasms.

Inuyasha flipped over, pulling out of Kagome and grabbed the blanket. Kagome sighed and kissed his chest before going to sleep. Smiling Inuyasha did the same.

The next morning Kagome awoke with a headache. She sat up and grabbed her head. `I think I drank too much.' Kagome thought. She stood and noticed she wasn't wearing any clothes. She wondered what the hell went on last night.

Kagome grabbed a robe and threw it on, tying it tightly as she walked out of the bedroom. Inuyasha was sitting on the couch in his boxers watching TV. He smirked as he watched her walk over to the couch.

"Drink a little too much did you?" Inuyasha asked.

"Not so loud. My head hurts." Kagome said.

Inuyasha chuckled and stood up. He walked into the kitchen and grabbed some Tylenol and a glass of water. He walked back to the couch and handed it to her. "Take this it should help." He said as he sat down.

Kagome swallowed the pills and drank the water. She let herself fall over onto Inuyasha's lap. "I don't feel good." She whined.

"I told you last night not to drink so much." Inuyasha said.

"It was the first time I've had a drink. I didn't know any better." Kagome said.

Inuyasha laughed and ran his fingers through her hair hoping to soothe her a little bit. Kagome sighed and closed her eyes. She groaned when the phone rang. She sat up to get it or let Inuyasha get it.

"Let it ring. The answering machine will get it." Inuyasha said. Kagome nodded and laid back down on his lap.

The answering machine beeped and the message played aloud. "This is Korin from the adoption agency. We have looked over your paperwork and have finished the evaluation regarding Shippo's adoption. Please call the adoption agency and ask for me to get the results." The message ended.

"Finally they finished with the evaluation." Inuyasha said. He gently lifted Kagome's head and laid it back down to call Korin back.

Kagome sat up waiting to hear the answer. She would endure the pain for a while longer to figure out whether or not they get to be Shippo's legal parents. Inuyasha dialed the number and asked for Korin.

"Hello this is Korin." She said.

"This is Inuyasha. I got your message about our evaluation for Shippo's adoption." Inuyasha said.

"Ah yes let me bring up your results." Korin said. "Your living arrangement and income is fit for caring for Shippo."

"Is there something you have a problem with?" Inuyasha asked sensing more in her voice than she was letting him know.

"Well your current relationship with Higurashi, Kagome. Whether it's stable or not is what I'm worried about. If he's very fond of her and you were to split apart then he may be saddened by her leaving." Korin explained.

"I assure you it won't happen." Inuyasha said.

"Are you possibly considering marriage?" Korin asked.

"It's been on my mind for a while." Inuyasha said.

"Seeing as how you don't plan on splitting up then I don't see why you can't be Shippo's legal parents. You'll get the official paperwork in the mail in about a week or so." Korin said.

"Thanks." Inuyasha said and hung up the phone. He walked back over to the couch and sat down.

"Well what happened?" Kagome asked.

"The official paperwork will come in about a week." Inuyasha said.

"So we're Shippo's parents now?" Kagome asked. Inuyasha nodded and Kagome jumped into his lap. "That's great!"

Inuyasha smiled and hugged her. He was happy about it too but he didn't want to make an announcement about it. Now all they had to do was tell Shippo.

Sorry it took so long to update. I'm not officially off my break yet. I just finally started writing and ended up with a chapter. For some reason I can't get to my e-mail so I'll have to answer questions in the next chapter. This fic will probably start moving a little faster since it's coming to an end. Hope you like it.
