Chapter 63

Proposal

Later that night Inuyasha and Kagome went out to dinner. They dropped Shippo off at Myoga's. Inuyasha had explained to Shippo that he was going to ask Kagome to marry him tonight. Shippo understood and agreed to stay the night at Myoga's without arguments.

"So what's the occasion for the special dinner?" Kagome asked as they sat down at the table they were led to.

"The wedding is finally over and we can have some time to be together. Besides Sesshomaru and Rin come back in a couple of weeks and your going to want to be with her for a while." Inuyasha said.

"Here are your menus and I'll be back to take your order in a little while." A waitress said.

Kagome glared at the girl as she walked away. She had been looking at Inuyasha and she didn't like it. "So you want to take advantage of the time we have while we have it?" Kagome asked. "What about Shippo? Did he argue with you?"

"Surprisingly no." Inuyasha said. "He just wanted to play his games."

"Where did you take him?" Kagome asked.

"He's at Myoga's place." Inuyasha said as he put his menu down.

The waitress came by to take their orders.

"You could've at least waited until after we ate to hit the waitress." Inuyasha laughed.

"It's hard to just sit there when she slipped you her number and grabbed your ass." Kagome snapped. "Quit laughing!"

"I can't help it." Inuyasha continued to laugh.

"I've been hanging around you too much. Maybe I should sleep in the guest room tonight..."

"Don't even think about it." Inuyasha grabbed Kagome's waist and spun her to him. They had long since entered their home and were now taking off their coats.

"Well what should we eat then?" Kagome asked as she finished taking off her heels.

"How about we just order a pizza then?" Inuyasha suggested.

"Okay I'm going to change then." Kagome said as she walked into the bedroom.

Inuyasha quickly ordered the pizza and waited for Kagome to come back out. He'd never been so nervous in his life. He'd never been a lot of things until he met Kagome. The whole day he tried thinking of how to ask her. Luckily Kagome hadn't noticed. She was talking to Rin on the phone and was oblivious to Inuyasha's strange behavior.

Kagome then walked out of the room in her nightgown and robe. She walked into the kitchen to get something to drink. Inuyasha walked behind her and wrapped his arms around his waist.

"I need to ask you something." He whispered in her ear.

"What?" Kagome asked. She turned around to face him.

Inuyasha grabbed her hand and led her to the couch. They both sat down and he grabbed her hands in his. Kagome was starting to get worried. "What is it?" She asked a hint of worry in her voice.

"I don't know how exactly to say this...Will you marry me?" Inuyasha asked as he pulled out the ring.

Kagome gasped and looked at the ring. She had never really thought that he would ask her to marry him. "Oh Inuyasha." She said as she watched Inuyasha put the ring on her finger. "Of course I will. I love you."

Inuyasha embraced her. "I love you too." He said. He released her from the hug and kissed her gently on the lips. He pushed her gently back on the couch. Slowly he opened her mouth and gently pushed his tongue inside.

His hands went from her waist to open her robe. He untied the knot and opened it. Sitting up he removed the robe and let it fall to the floor. He pulled the nightgown up over her head and admired her beauty.

Kagome pushed started to unbutton his shirt and pushed it off his shoulders. Inuyasha took it off and threw it behind him. He pushed Kagome back down and began to kiss her neck.

There was a knock at the door.

"Inuyasha." Kagome called out to him.

"Let them knock." Inuyasha said as he nipped at her neck.

"Isn't it the pizza?" Kagome asked. Inuyasha grunted and stopped. Kagome giggled and pushed Inuyasha off of her. He fell to the floor and laid there.

Kagome grabbed her robe and tied it. She answered the door. "Hello." She said.

"You ordered a pizza?" The guy asked.

"Hai." Kagome nodded.

"$12.87." The guy said as he handed her the pizza.

Kagome set it on the kitchen counter and walked over to Inuyasha. She rolled him over and grabbed his wallet. She took out a twenty and let the wallet fall on Inuyasha's butt. She paid the pizza guy and thanked him.

"Where's the change?" Inuyasha asked, his voice was muffled because he was face down on the floor.

"What change? I gave him a tip." Kagome smiled and sat down on the couch.

"That was my money!" Inuyasha flipped onto his back and raised his upper half with his elbows.

"I know that's why the tip was so much." Kagome smiled. She slid off the couch and straddled his waist. "What do you care?"

"You're spending my money mindlessly." Inuyasha said.

"You don't want your fiancé to be happy?" Kagome pouted. She leaned down and began to kiss and lick his neck.

"Of course I want you to be happy." Inuyasha stuttered. His mind was starting to get foggy.

"Then can't I spend your money?" Kagome asked and nipped his chin.

Inuyasha nodded and began to put his hands under her robe. "The pizza will get cold." Kagome giggled.

"Fuck the pizza." Inuyasha said. He picked her up and carried her to the bedroom.

When he got inside he slammed the door shut with his foot. He stood Kagome near the edge of the bed.

The next morning Inuyasha woke up to pounding on the door. He got up and threw his boxers on. Angrily he threw open the door. "What the fuck do you want?" He yelled.

"I came to bring your son home." Myoga said. He motioned for Shippo to go in. "Congratulations on your proposal. I'm guessing from the clothes all over that she said yes."

"Shut up old man. Of course she said yes." Inuyasha said. "Now if you'll excuse me I'd like to go back to my fiancé."

"Well I wouldn't want to hold you back from her." Myoga said. He began to leave. "Let me know if you need me to watch Shippo again."

"Yeah yeah. Thanks." Inuyasha shouted down the hall. Myoga waved and got into the elevator.

Inuyasha was about to go back to his room when Shippo stood in front of him. "What?" he asked with a hint of irritation in his voice.

"Did you ask her?" Shippo asked wide-eyed.

"Yeah." Inuyasha said and tried to walk past Shippo.

Shippo moved in front of Inuyasha, stopping him from going any further. "What did she say?" He asked.

"She said yes." Inuyasha said and tried to move again.

"When's the wedding?" Shippo asked moving in front of Inuyasha once again.

"We haven't discussed it yet."

"Will there be lots of people there?"

"No, it will probably be a small wedding."

"Smaller than Sesshomaru and Rin's wedding?"

"Probably. I don't know. We haven't discussed it yet." Inuyasha kept trying to go back into the room. "Will you move?"

"Have you told anyone yet? I told Myoga." Shippo said moving in his way.

"No, not yet. I just woke up."

"Are you going to call people?"

"SHIPPO!" Inuyasha yelled.

Shippo's eyes widened and he ran knowing Inuyasha would soon be right behind him. Shippo ran into their bedroom and jumped onto the bed. Luckily Kagome was wearing one of Inuyasha's t-shirts. She had gotten thirsty after their actions and threw it on. She woke up from all the bouncing.

Opening her eyes she found Inuyasha and Shippo jumping around on the bed. "What are you two doing?" Kagome asked.

They both stopped in their tracks and looked guiltily at her. "Nothing." They both replied.

"Doesn't seem like it." Kagome narrowed her eyes at them both.

"I'm going to go play video games!" Shippo shouted and ran out of the room.

"That will keep him occupied for a good while." Inuyasha said. He plopped down on the bed over Kagome, his hands holding hers down next to her head.

"Inuyasha!" Kagome said in surprise.

"What?" Inuyasha asked innocently as he began to kiss her neck.

"You know what!" Kagome shouted but then moaned when he licked her ear.

Inuyasha smirked knowing that always got to her every time. Kagome tried to resist but found it hard to ignore him. "I have to take a shower." Kagome said finally finding her voice. She managed to push Inuyasha off. He was caught off guard. He thought he was winning.

Kagome giggled and stood up. She walked out of the room and into the bathroom. She shut the door and started the water for her shower. Inuyasha chuckled and followed after her when he knew she was in the shower.

Quietly he opened the door and stepped inside. He stripped out of his boxers and opened the shower door. "Inuyasha!" Kagome shouted as she backed up against the wall. "You scared me!"

Inuyasha laughed lightly. "That was the plan." He said.

"Jerk." Kagome narrowed his eyes at him. "What are you doing in here? I wanted to shower."

"You are showering." Inuyasha said as he moved closer to Kagome.

"That's not what I meant and you know it." Kagome put her hands on his chest to stop him from getting any closer to her. "I wanted to shower without interruptions."

"Too bad." Inuyasha grabbed her hands and pushed them against the shower wall. He pressed his lips against hers.

Almost immediately Kagome melted into the kiss. She hated herself for giving in and so quickly too. She couldn't help it when it came to him. Inuyasha licked her lips for entrance, which she gladly opened up for him.

They both fought for dominance, knowing that neither would win, but too stubborn to back down. Inuyasha's hands roamed down her body to her thighs. He lifted her up and wrapped her legs around his waist. Kagome locked her ankles for a tight hold.

They both moaned as the pressed against each other. Inuyasha left her lips in favor of trailing kissed down her neck to her breasts. Kagome arched her back as Inuyasha's mouth encircled her breast while his hand massaged the other.

Inuyasha's free hand went from her back to between her legs. He slipped two fingers inside of her. Kagome moaned and slumped against the wall. Inuyasha pressed her up against the wall.

Kagome placed her hands on Inuyasha's shoulders and kissed him. Inuyasha removed his fingers and placed his length against her. They both shuddered at the feeling. Inuyasha then thrusted into her.

Kagome then opened her mouth in a silent release. Inuyasha placed on hand on her left hip and the other hand to hold himself against the wall. He leaned forward to catch Kagome's lips for a kiss.

The water had long since gone cold but neither of them had noticed. The heat they were creating was more than enough for them. Kagome wrapped her arms around Inuyasha's neck as she felt the heat in her stomach beg for release. She whimpered and moaned as she neared the end.

Inuyasha was also coming close to release. He could feel Kagome's muscles wrap tighter around him. They both held each other tight. With one last thrust they both released. Kagome screamed his name while Inuyasha stuttered a broken version of hers.

They both stayed still, slowly getting back to reality. Inuyasha stood Kagome up on her legs. Once he was sure she could support herself he let go of her waist. He lazily kissed her and smirked.

"How about that shower?" Inuyasha asked as he grabbed a washcloth.

Well I hope the proposal wasn't too cheesy. It was the only thing I could think of that was still somewhat Inuyasha and not too OOC. Well my updates don't take as long as they used to. I think there may be one to three more chapters. Depends on what I want to add and so on. I'm not sure if I'll put Inuyasha and Kagome's wedding. I think if anything the next chapters will just be closing chapters. I'm not sure yet. Hope you like this chapter. Let me know what you think. Ja ne.
