Sorry for the delay but I was out of power for almost five days which made it hard to study for my exams. Now that power is back and my exams are finished I am free: till next semester.

Disclaimer: Don't own Inuyasha and Co.
"Stay with her" Inuyasha commanded and ran after the trio. When he caught up with them they were half way down the stairs leading to and from the shrine. In one leap he landed in front of them. They found them selves facing an enraged hanyou.
"She saved your sorry asses and this is the thanks she gets? Hypocrites! You say you understand her because you are her best friends, feh. But you don't know what she goes through and you upset her. What kind of friends are you? Just because she's different. Pathetic, humans never change."
He left the wide eyed trio in his dust and headed back. When he got there he saw Souta and Gramps standing there as well. Souta looked a little frightened for his sister as he told his hero,
"She wont move." Inuyasha picked her up while saying,
"I'm taking her to her room." His tone said he would even if any of them had thought to protest.
When they got there Inuyasha tucked her in bed. Even through her shock Kagome was surprised at his tenderness. Still as he walked to the door,
"No. Please stay." He returns to her and crouches beside her bed so their eyes are level.
"I promise I'll come back soon. Your family might have questions. Okay." She nods and he goes down stairs to the kitchen where he can hear that everyone is waiting. He holds up a hand to stall the questions that seem to spill from the family as they see him.
"The reason I left earlier was because I sensed a demon near Kagome's school. When I got there she had purified him with one of her arrows and everyone was staring at her weirdly so I took her home. The three girls said they came to apologize but all they did was upset her more and left." Everyone sat in stunned silence processing the information when,
"WHAT!"
Everyone rushed up to Kagome's room, the source of the scream, Inuyasha in the lead. They saw Kagome sitting up in bed reading one of the letters she received.
"what's wrong dear?" Asked a concerned Mrs H. when she reached her daughter.
"I have been 'requested to terminate' my enrollment at school because of my 'unique abilities.' " She announced with bitterness lacing the words. Inuyasha's demon hadn't gone away yet. He urged Inuyasha to sit with her and comfort her. For once he takes the advice and, uncaring of the others in the room, sits behind Kagome. Seeing that he will take care of her daughter Mrs H. ushered Gramps and Souta out of the room.
When they had gone Inuyasha started running his claws through her hair while she stared at the second letter.
"I can not believe he doesn't get it that we are not going out."
"What is 'going out'?" Inuyasha asks. The rumble in his chest from speaking passed into her back making her very aware of him. The closest word that she could think of was
"Courting"
*What! That runt, that human runt, was trying to court our Kagome!* Inuyasha was also angry. He went still and quietly asked,
"Did you want him to court you?" Some how she could tell that there was more to the question than curiosity she answers cautiously.
"My friends were always trying to get us together but I kept brushing him off. He never did get the fact that I wasn't and am not interested in him."
'See she didn't want him'
*That is good but he kept trying to force to 'go out' with him. He should pay.* InuDemon sounded coldly determined.
'Yeah. Except then Kagome wouldn't be too happy with us.'
*Feh* Even InuDemon didn't want to deal with Kagome when she was angry with him.
While he was focused on the conversation and Kagome he did not notice the man sneaking up to the bedroom window.
Now that I am free I'll update more, if the power stays on.
Now for the Irish saying:
Irish Diplomacy... is the ability to tell a man to go to hell so that he looks forward to making the trip.
