The three of them went upstairs to Kagome's room, they had told her that the transformation would take exactly 24 hours and she would wake up this time tomorrow.

 

Kagome sat down on her bed, while Michiko sat at her desk. Sesshomaru was standing as he removed a small vile from his pocket. It was a very deep red; blood, but it was not normal, there was some kind of enchantment upon it.

 

“Wha… what is that?”

 

Sesshomaru looked directly at her. “It is……Inuyasha's blood, a drop of mine and some of yours.”

 

Kagome stared dumbfounded. “But how?”

 

“This Sesshomaru rather not say.”

 

“Um….okay, sooo I have to drink it?” Kagome uttered.

 

“Precisely. I will not be here when you wake up but my daughter will, so she can inform you further.”

 

Kagome stared at the vile cautiously and said “Alright, well, down the hatch!” as she drank the whole thing, and shortly there after passed out.

Back in the Feudal era, Inuyasha was about to kill something, or someone….

 

“Calm down Inuyasha, it's just one day then she'll be back the next morning.”

 

“Who said I was worried about her monk?! I just want to get on the road to look for more jewel shards!”

 

Miroku rolled his eyes, “Sure Inuyasha sure.”

 

Ever since Kagome left, Inuyasha had been… very restless.

 

`Damn bitch, she should know I can't stand it when she leaves....

“How would she know unless you told her?”

`The bitch should know'

“Well she doesn't, you need to tell her how you feel and soon, Naraku is up to something”

`Yeah I know, but what am I supposed to say? “Oh Kagome I love you so much, your scent calms me, your laughter makes me happy and your smile makes me melt inside?”'

“Yes”

`Well, I can't, she's to perfect to be tainted by me……… a hanyou.'

“Oh come on! You know that's not true, it's just an emotional barrier you hide behind!”

` I must be crazy talking to myself.'

“ Hello? I'm your conscience.”

`Keh'

 

Inuyasha had, for a while, known he loved Kagome over Kikyou. He realized that the thing walking around in her image was not her, but a clay body filled with anger and hate. He would always cherish the memories from that time but it was just that, a memory. Kagome was so warm and full of life. She cared about everyone, Human, youkai….hanyou. Maybe, just maybe he had a chance, that's if he got up the courage to tell her.

`I wonder what she's up to right now?'
