Chapter 3

Dancing

Kagome and Sango were in her room getting ready. They were going to a dancing. "It's been a while since we went to a club hasn't it?" Kagome said.

"Hai, all of the clubs have been having nights for adults and not teens." Sango said. Some of the clubs have nights for teens but not as much lately.

"I guess we're ready. We just have to wait for the guys to get here." Kagome said. Sango nodded. They both went downstairs to wait for them.

Kagome was wearing a red spaghetti strap dress. The dress stopped right above her knees and had slits that went to her mid thigh. She had black eyeliner, mascara and some clear lip-gloss. She also had red heels to match.

Sango was wearing the same kind of dress but hers was black. She had her usual pink eye shadow with some black mascara and light pink lip-gloss to match. She had black heels on.

There was a knock on the door. Both of the girls went to answer it. It was Inuyasha and Miroku. They were both wearing black dress pants and dress shirts. Inuyasha's was red and Miroku's was black.

As soon as they looked at the girls their jaws dropped. The girls giggled and walked outside leaving the guys at the door. "I guess we're going dancing by ourselves." Kagome said.

"Hai, I'm sure we'll find some other guys to dance with at the club." Sango said. As soon as the guys heard that they snapped out of their stupor and ran to the girls side.

"Don't you fucking dare." Inuyasha shouted. "You look beautiful Kagome." He kissed her. Kagome blushed.

"You look beautiful as well Sango." Miroku said. Sango gave him a kiss and blushed.

They all got into Inuyasha's car and went to the club. When they got there they all walked in. It was dark. The only lights were the colorful flashing ones. "Lets go." Both girls said and grabbed the guys.

They all went onto the dance floor and started dancing. Inuyasha stood behind Kagome and wrapped his arms around her as they moved to the music. Miroku did the same with Sango facing him.

After about an hour of dancing the guys went to get something to drink leaving the girls on the dance floor. The girls kept dancing. Every once in a while a guy would ask them to dance. They told them no and kept dancing.

Someone grabbed Kagome from behind. It wasn't Inuyasha. She tried getting away but the person only dragged her away. Sango couldn't see her anymore. She looked around for her.

Kagome was dragged to the back of the club. She finally managed to turn around. Kouga. "What the hell do you think you're doing Kouga?" She said.

"Nothing I just want to dance." He said.

"No thanks I'm here with Inuyasha." She said and started walking away. He grabbed her arm. "What the…"

Kouga spun her around and slammed his lips against hers. Kagome struggled to get away. Nothing was working. She began to panic as he forced his tongue in her mouth. Suddenly he was thrown off of her.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Inuyasha asked. Kagome ran to him. "Are you ok?"

"Hai." She said in a whisper. Inuyasha and Kouga were about to fight. She saw them both get in a defensive stance. She sighed and threw a barrier over both of them. She hated to do anything with her miko powers but she didn't want them to fight. Only a few people knew she was a miko.

They both tried to charge at each other but were knocked back by the barriers. "Kagome." Inuyasha yelled. She wasn't supposed to use her miko powers unless she had to.

"I'm leaving." She found Sango at the bar counter and they both walked outside. She would walk home.

"I suggest we go get them. We shouldn't let them walk around at night." Miroku said. Inuyasha growled but nodded.

They walked outside after the girls. "Kagome you get back here." She turned around and glared at him. She turned back around and kept walking.

"Sango will you please come get in the car? I don't want you walking around at night like this." Miroku said.

Sango turned around. Miroku hadn't done anything wrong. "Go ahead Sango. I can go home by myself." Kagome said.

"Are you sure?" Sango asked. Kagome nodded. "Be careful." She walked over to Miroku. They both got into Inuyasha's car to wait for him.

"Kagome get your ass back here right now." Inuyasha yelled.

"Or what?" She yelled and kept walking.

Inuyasha growled and ran over to her. He picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. He opened the passenger side of his car and put her in the seat. "Don't you dare move out of this seat." He said.

Kagome just crossed her arms and looked away. As soon as Inuyasha was she was going to stay put he got in. He drove and dropped Sango and Miroku off. He wanted to talk to Kagome but not in front of them.

Inuyasha drove to her house and turned off the car. Kagome tried to get out but Inuyasha stopped her. "What the fuck were you thinking? You can't go walking home by yourself in the middle of the night." He yelled.

"I would have been fine. I can take care of myself Inuyasha." Kagome said.

"You think so? What if someone grabbed you? What if they were going to…" He couldn't finish the thought. "Someone like you can't be walking around at night like that." He said.

"What do you mean someone like me?" She asked.

"I mean you're too pretty to be walking around alone at night, especially in that dress." He yelled.

"I'm glad you're concerned for me but you didn't have to go and try to kill Kouga." She said.

Inuyasha ignored her trying to change the subject. "What did you think? He kissed you. That's twice in one day someone other than me kissed you. If you didn't put up that barrier I would've killed him." He was trying to keep calm but he could smell Kouga on her.

"That's why I put it up. You can't go around killing people." Kagome said. "I don't want you to go to jail. Besides you could be the one killed."

"I won't die." He said.

"I don't want you getting into fights. I don't like seeing you hurt." She said.

"Fine I'll try not to fight them." He remembered the last time he got into a fight she cried because he got a scratch on his arm. She thought it was worse.

"Thank you." She tried getting out of the car.

"You're not going anywhere yet." Inuyasha grabbed her and pulled her into his lap.

"What do you…" Kagome was silenced by a kiss. The kiss was demanding. When Inuyasha saw Naraku and Kouga kiss her he wanted to kill them. No one touched his Kagome.

He pulled away. "Now you can go." He smirked.

Kagome got out of the car and walked to her house. She was a little dazed. Inuyasha hadn't kissed her like that since Hojo asked her out a long time ago. He only kissed her like that when he got jealous.

Kagome sighed and changed into her pajamas. Now she was going to have to watch out for Naraku and Kouga. Inuyasha was going to watch her all the time now. He was too overprotective to begin with.

She got into her bed and went to sleep.
