Chapter 32

Getting Some Answers

Inuyasha, Miroku, and Sango had just ran into the mall. Inuyasha sniffed trying to see if he could find Kikyo's scent anywhere. So far he couldn't find her. "Where should we look?" Miroku asked.

"Anywhere a whore would shop." Inuyasha said. He looked towards Sango. She hit him. "What did you do that for?"

"You looked at me. You'd better not think I'm a whore." Sango said angrily.

"No, I was looking at you because you're a girl. You know where all the shops are." Inuyasha said.

Sango mumbled under her breath something about sexist pigs and ran towards any shop Kikyo might shop in. Inuyasha and Miroku followed closely behind her.

Kikyo had just met with Naraku and was now going to the mall. She went over to his house in his basement. Kagome was tied up and sitting in the corner. She had a blindfold on and her arms and feet were bound. Kikyo thought it was priceless.

Naraku had gone upstairs for a couple of minutes to attend to some business. Kikyo was taunting her and laughing. She got angry when Kagome did nothing. Kagome didn't let it phase her. Kikyo was no one and should be ignored.

She hadn't left without getting her payback. She kicked Kagome repeatedly to pay her back for all the torment she'd caused her. Naraku had finally gone back downstairs and had to kick Kikyo out. He didn't think she'd go that far.

Kikyo laughed at the memory of Kagome. Last she saw Kagome was lying on the floor and Naraku was trying to help her up. She walked into the mall and headed for the nearest store.

Before she could reach it she was knocked down to the ground. "Where the fuck is she?"

"Inuyasha!" Kikyo said.

"Where is she?" Inuyasha growled.

"I don't know who `she' is." Kikyo said.

"Don't lie to me. I can smell her on you." Inuyasha said. "I can smell her blood too. What the fuck did you do to her!?"

"I just paid her back for what she did to me!" Kikyo screamed. She gasped. She hadn't meant to blurt that out.

"Where is she?" Inuyasha demanded to know. He held his claws an inch away from her face. "Tell me or you won't have enough of a nose left to bother worrying about."

Kikyo could see the fierceness in his eyes. She could see a tint of red in the amber. "She's at Naraku's house." Kikyo said.

"Where the fuck is that?" Inuyasha said.

"Which house? He has many." Kikyo said.

"Don't fuck with me." Inuyasha said.

"Is that an offer?" Kikyo purred.

He smacked her "Do that again, and I'm going to slice your fucking head off." Inuyasha growled.

"Do that and you'll never find her. No one knows where Naraku lives." Kikyo said.

"Don't tell us and your secret is out." Sango said.

"What secret?" Kikyo said.

"You know what I'm talking about. Would you want me to reveal it in front of everyone?" Sango asked pointing to the crowd of people around them.

Kikyo looked around and noticed a crowd. "You're bluffing." Kikyo said.

"Am I?" Sango smiled.

"He lives in the mansion near Tokyo tower. It's the brick house that's isolated." Kikyo said.

Inuyasha backed off and went towards the exit. Miroku and Sango ran to catch up to him. "What secret did you know?" Inuyasha asked. Now he was curious.

"I didn't know a secret. Everyone has a secret that no one knows and will do anything to keep it hidden." Sango said.

"So you were bluffing." Miroku said.

"Of course." Sango said.

"Good job." Miroku said.

"Arigato." Sango smiled.

They all made it to the parking lot and jumped into their cars. Inuyasha sped off without waiting for Miroku and headed towards Tokyo Tower. It was the fastest ways to get to the mansions.

`Kagome please be all right.' Inuyasha thought.

Kagome woke up from the pain in her side. It hurt so much. She opened her eyes and looked around. She wasn't blindfolded and she was in a bed. Trying to sit up she just hissed in pain. "You shouldn't move for a while."

Kagome looked to her side and saw Naraku sitting on the side of the bed. "What happened?" Kagome mumbled.

"Kikyo went a little crazy and broke three of your ribs. You passed out a little after she started kicking you." Naraku said.

"Damn her." Kagome said.

"She'll pay for it later." Naraku said. "Do you need anything?"

"Why are you being nice?" Kagome asked. It was creepy for him to act the way he was.

"You're hurt. Besides I should treat my future mate like a queen." Naraku said.

"I'm not going to be your mate." Kagome said firmly.

"Rest, I know your side hurts a lot." Naraku said.

Kagome couldn't help but fall asleep again. It had taken a lot of strength just to stay awake during the conversation with Naraku. She felt like she couldn't move without hurting herself. Broken ribs take a long time to heal, especially three of them.

Inuyasha jumped out of his car. Miroku and Sango were close behind him. They all ran up to the building only to be stopped by a security gate. Inuyasha grabbed onto Sango and Miroku and leapt over the fence.

"Would you warn me before you do something like that?" Sango said.

"Hey! What are you doing there? You just can't come in like that!" A man in a black suit yelled.

Inuyasha kicked him in the chest and he was out.

"Don't you think that was a little harsh?" Miroku asked.

"They kidnapped my fucking mate, Miroku. They're lucky I don't skin them alive." Inuyasha growled.

They walked into the house. On the way there they had a couple more encounters with security. "Something is up." Sango said.

"What do you mean?" Miroku asked.

"He's only got human guards. Naraku can't be that stupid." Sango said.

"He's not." Inuyasha said. They ended up at a staircase. Someone with red eyes stood at the top of the steps. He had black jeans and a white shirt on. He had long hair down to his waist tied up in a loose ponytail.

"You can't go any further." The man said.

"Shut up, you arrogant bastard. Where's Kagome?" Inuyasha yelled.

"There is no one by that name here." The man said.

"Bullshit. I can smell her here." Inuyasha said.

"Your nose doesn't work very well then. No women live here." The man said. "You're trespassing. Get out."

"Not until I get her back." Inuyasha said.

"Look, I believe you're a sensible man." Miroku said. "My friend is a little pissed off because his girlfriend..sorry, his mate was kidnapped. So why don't you step aside and let us handle our business?"

"You won't like him when he's mad, especially when it comes to Kagome." Sango said.

"I don't care. You won't be getting past me." The man said.

"I will." Inuyasha growled. He leapt to the top of the stairs and swung at the man.

He dodged and ended up behind Inuyasha. He kicked him off of the stairs. Inuyasha managed to twist himself in the air and land on the first step. He jumped back up and was able to hit the man in the face.

"Is that all you've got?" The man taunted.

Inuyasha grew angry. He was wasting time. He growled and kicked him down the stairs. He jumped and landed on top of him. "You picked the wrong day to fuck with me." Inuyasha said.
