“Where is that voice coming from?” Inuyasha asked as he looked over to Kagome.

 

“I think it is Midoriko.” Kagome said back to them all.

 

“Kagome, I know that you get a wish and what ever it may be and it is not selfish I can grant it.” Midoriko said to the teenager who looked like she was about to cry.

 

“Why are you crying for this is the big moment?” Sesshomaru asked her.

 

“I don't know what I want yet, I want every one here to be happy and live long lives and that I want to be with Inuyasha for as long as I can, but I do not want the well to close either.” She said.

 

“I do not consider that to be selfish at all it will be done. As for you Lord Sesshomaru, your wish will be granted but not for another five hundred years. Chiyo has to go back to the future for her to recover properly. Kagome, you are now at one with Inuyasha, as soon as he takes you as his mate. The well will be kept open as long as you or Inuyasha go through it at least twice during the year.” Midoriko said as her voice faded away and the jewel disappeared completely.

 

“Sesshomaru, here is her address in the future be there in about three days, I know it will be a long wait, but that is nothing to as long as you lived so far. I also want to thank you for all that you have done.” Kagome said as she as she gave him a kiss on the cheek and gave each a hug, “but seeing that it is past noon and none of us has gotten any rest I think we better get some now.”

 

Chiyo was in a state that she had not been in before; she could hear what was going on and what was being said. However, she could not move a limb or her head as they spoke.

 

“What the hell happened to me? Why dose that voice say that he has to wait for five hundred years for me?” She thought to herself as she drifted back to sleep.

 

The next day was the day that they went to the well and get Chiyo back home so she could be at piece. Chiyo was out of it all the way there.

 

“Why dose she not wake up?” Miroku asked.

 

“She used so much of her energy that it needs time to recuperate. She can hear us.” Kagome said to him as the group made its way to the well.

 

“Sesshomaru, are you sure that you can do this? I mean she left once and now she is leaving again.” Inuyasha asked his brother.

 

“Yes, I can do this; it would be like to the other servants that she never came back. I will be waiting for her at this very spot on the other side of the well.” He said as the rest of them stopped and waited.

 

“Kagome, you will come back to see us right?” Shippo asked.

 

“Why would I leave my son behind and not make sure he is well cared for, Yes I will come back and stay for a while but that will have to wait until I am done with school and I have the whole summer to stay here. Is that all right Shippo?” Kagome asked the kit.

 

“Yay! I cannot wait. Is Inuyasha going with you?” He asked.

 

“What do you think runt.” He said back.

 

“Shippo, there is a place for you at the plaice if you want to be closer to Rin.” Sesshomaru said that was way out of character and every one looked at him as if he hit his head.

 

“What are you smoking? If you have any left can I have some?” Said a voice that was behind them. They all turned to see that she was up and slowly getting up from Ah-Un.

 

“You are awake?” Sesshomaru asked.

 

“Naugh, Just your imagination working over time. Yea I am awake.” She said back to him in a teasing manor.

 

“You are not fully healed.” Kagome said as he came up also.

 

“I know that and I heard what was said. I hate to do this to you once again Sesshomaru, Midoriko said to wait and I guess that is what you have to do. I do not know what hit me so hard that I have to leave. Remember this wait for me and I will be back.” She said as she noticed that the others were waiting for her to climb in and go back.
