Midoriko lifted her eyes to the face of Western Lord. "Sesshomaru of the West, Kagome is the one chosen. Has the revealing
lost its meaning? Have you, in order to keep control, ceased to keep it before you?"

Taisho said, "Midoriko-san, are you saying Kagome and Sayuri are the two revealed?"
"That is for you to find out," answered Midoriko. She looked at Kagome and then motioned her forward. She watched as the
miko from the future walked to stand dead even with Taisho. She smiled and walked to meet her. Stopping an arm's length
from her, the spirit woman extended her right hand with which she held the Shikon no Tama between her first two fingers.
Slowly, she pressed them forward. Once the jewel was completely encased in Kagome's heart, Midoriko withdrew her fingers.
Then stepping back into the corner, she said, "Tell Sayuri I will speak with her again." In the next instant, she vanished
just as Zephimaru returned with the bag.

Sesshomaru drew his mate against his chest. He growled softly to calm her as she was trembling. He could feel her reiki
settling around this strange intruder.
Kagome pushed her mate away just as her body began to glow with the light from the jewel. She was engulfed in it and then
the light conformed to her frame. That was not all for a warm yellow light surrounded that. This one felt like Sayuri.
Behind the second light, Kagome's transformation took place. Her short hair grew until it matched Kikyou's in length. It
maintained its color. She had already gained the crescent moon but now the mark on Midoriko's forehead joined it. A
single stripe the color of the jewel appeared in her cheeks, wrists and ankles.
When the light vanished, Sesshomaru swiftly moved to catch her. He drew her back onto his lap.

Zephimaru looked at each of them and said, "What did I miss?"
