A/N: Thank for the responses to my question! And now for another one! When I watched to episodes with Ryuukotsusei I found myself wondering if he simply uses that mask on his head to talk; or if the mask is the real head and the rest of his body simply an extension?

Let me know your answers, theories, etc!

“I wanna see that new movie! I hear it's really good!” Kagome enthused to Sango. They were in Miroku's car together while Inuyasha and Miroku followed in his car.

“You mean the one by Isao Yukisada?” Sango asked.

“Yeah!”

“I hear a lot of people cried because of that movie, it must be good.”

“Inuyasha is going to pout if he has to sit through it,” Kagome said, sighing.

“Well today is about us, not him.”

“I bet they're going to make us see some stupid chick movie,” Inuyasha huffed.

“Inuyasha, do you have to be so negative all the time?” Miroku asked.

“Yes.”

“It doesn't get you anywhere.”

“Whatever.”

They all pulled into the movie theatre parking lot and parked next to each other. Kagome was grinning like a cheshier cat when she got out of the car.

“We're going to see some stupid chick movie aren't we?” Inuyasha asked.

“Yes,” both girls said in unison.

“Figures,” he said, crossing his arms.

“Come now Inuyasha. Isn't it worth it to see those beautiful smiles on their faces?” Miroku said patting his grumpy friend on the back.

“Feh…”

“Four tickets for `Sekai no Chushin de, Ai o Sakebu' (Crying Out Love in the Center of the World).” Sango said, and Kagome began to bounce on the balls of her feet.

“Ayame you will be happy to know that I managed to get you an internship at the same company where Kouga works!” Her father said happily.

“That's wonderful Daddy!” She said smiling.

“You start on Monday after meeting the head of the company. He'll tell you where you'll be assigned.”

“Thank you Daddy,” she said while hugging him.

“I hope you don't think that I don't know what you're up to young lady. You want to be closer to Kouga,” He said, knowingly.

“Well I never get to see him much anymore.”

“I'm sure he'll be happy to have you around.”

“Me too,” She smiled.

“That movie was great!” Sango said. They were now at their last stop for the day; a new restaurant in town that specialized in Italian.

“Yeah I cried!” Kagome said happily.

“What is with you women and crying? It's not a good thing,” Inuyasha interjected.

“All tears are not bad Inuyasha,” Miroku said. “People cry with happiness all the time.”

“If a movie is able to make you feel emotion that means the cast, the director, the writers have all done their jobs right. Especially in movies like that, crying is the highest form of flattery that you can give them,” Sango said.

“Well I didn't cry but it was an okay movie,” Inuyasha admitted.

“See you didn't hate it after all,” Kagome said, rubbing his shoulder.

“I still would have rather saw an Action movie,” He grumbled.

When the waiter came they ordered a bottle of wine and their starter courses. Kagome and Sango had salads, while Inuyasha and Miroku got a tray of bread sticks with sauce.

“So Kagome is there anyone new in your life?” Miroku asked innocently, or what appeared to be innocently.

“No, after that date with Kouga I haven't been with anyone,” She answered.

“You know Houjo still has that crush on you,” Sango said, spearing a crouton perfectly with her fork without breaking it.

“Houjo?” Inuyasha asked, half way through dipping a bread stick.

“Yeah, he's really nice. He's nothing but a gentleman to Kagome, the complete opposite of Kouga,” Sango said, faking enthusiasm.

“Well that must be good Kagome,” Miroku added.

“Yes Houjo is really nice…” At this point Inuyasha ripped the poor bread stick in half and ducked it violently in the sauce.

“But he's not my type to be honest. Houjo is too nice,” Kagome finished, shrugging her shoulders.

“You may just feel that way because of what happened with Kouga,” Miroku said.

“Yes it is common for some women to have some unresolved hatred toward men after getting out of a bad relationship,” Sango said.

“It wasn't a relationship, it was a bad date,” Inuyasha said, ripped another bread stick.

On the inside Miroku and Sango were grinning. They had no idea the subject of Kagome's love life would get such a response from him. His body language changed completely from relaxed to tense. He was practically murdering those bread sticks.

“Well yes you're right Inuyasha. Still I don't think Kagome should dismiss Houjo so completely just yet. He's so sweet and I think that he deserves a chance. He's always trying to carry things for her and asking if she needs anything…”

“He wants to get into her pants,” Inuyasha said, rudely cutting Sango off.

“Inuyasha,” Kagome said, warningly.

“Well it's true. There aren't many guys out there who go through all that without thinking of getting something in return.” He was eating his bread and looking very arrogant. Kagome looked as if she would like nothing more than to take his beautiful silver hair and use it to strangle him.

“Kagome, will you come to the restroom with me?” Sango asked quickly.

“Love too!” She shouted in her roommate's ear. The two girls got up and left the table. Inuyasha was just sitting there as if nothing had happened and he hadn't said anything wrong.

“Well Inuyasha who do you think is the right man for Kagome?” Miroku asked, dipping his own bread stick.

“I don't know someone who can put up with her longer than ten minutes I suppose,” he said, shrugging.

“Well you live with her, so does that mean you can put with her?”

“I get by. Why? What are you getting at?” Inuyasha asked. He was giving Miroku a very suspicious look. He'd known Miroku too long to know that his question was just not innocent.

“Come on Inuyasha, you're so fiercely protective of her, you would make a great boyfriend,” Miroku said, making no move to hide his intent.

“She's a friend!” Inuyasha said defensively.

“A really good looking friend. You can't tell me that you've never thought of her as more than a friend…”

Inuyasha's mind immediately went back to his latest wet dream. He and Kagome were in his office grinding each other on his desk. Papers were thrown on the floor and the both of them looking completely disheveled. They were both hot and sweaty and he could actually feel his erection pressing up against her burning core.

“It's not like that!” He said, pulling his mind away from the arousing fantasy.

“Sure you haven't Inuyasha,” Miroku said, winking at him as if he could see inside his mind.

Not too far away in the restroom, the girls were having a similar conversation.

“He is such a jerk!” Kagome said forcefully.

“Not really,” Sango said, checking the stalls.

“You heard what he said Sango.” Kagome was looking at friend in disbelief.

“He cares about you Kagome. He was being protective.”

“Yeah right.”

“You know he is Kagome. You said it yourself that he wanted to kill Kouga for what happened the first time and the second time you had to cook to calm him down! He cares for you,” Sango said, freely since no one else was in there with them.

“I know but he doesn't have to be so rude about it,” Kagome said, sighing.

“That's just the way he is. Would you want him to change?” Sango asked smiling.

“No I guess not,” Kagome said, smiling back.

“Then I want to tell you this. I think you should be with Inuyasha.” The look of shock that came over Kagome's face was amazing. Her mouth opened, her eyes got wider, her cheeks flamed, and she started to stutter.

“Kagome just listen. You could see that Miroku and I were perfect together and I'm telling you that I see the same thing with you and Inuyasha.”

“Sango I don't want to talk about this right now!” Kagome said fleeing the restroom.

`Great, now she's scared.' Sango thought to herself.

She left quickly to catch up with Kagome and they both returned to the table where Inuyasha was looking about the same as Kagome. It would appear that neither, Sango or Miroku were good at playing Cupid; or these two required something stronger than meddlesome friends.

A/N: Sorry for the late update but a lot's been going on. The press party is coming soon!

I want to thank the two reviewers who corrected me on my yoga moves! I'm thinking about getting into yoga but as you can tell I don't know much yet.
