Chapter 2: Dancing, Drinks, and a Fight.
Sango and Kagome finally emerged from the back of the apartment to see a confused Sess, bemused Miroku, and a growling Inu. “Pizza here yet?” Sango asked as she hugged Miroku and smacked his arm for trying to kiss her. “I just spent 10 minutes on my makeup! You are not going to ruin it!”
Kags just snuggled up next to Sess on the couch and asked “Is she still on the phone?”
“Goddamn, motherfucking dumbass!!!” could be heard as the cordless phone came flying out of the kitchen, apparently committing suicide of its own volition.
“Third one this month,” muttered Sango.
“He’s backed off a bit then,” said Kagome.
The guys looked at one another with blank eyes and simply shrugged.
“Pizza’s here.” Kalen said as she stalked to her bedroom.
“We’ll wait for you!” Sango yelled back.
“Not hungry!” was the reply.
“Wasn’t talking about the food!”
“1 hour!” came the muffled reply as the shower started up.

One and a half hours later, the six were entering the club. Kalen, Sango, and Kagome walked in and immediately made their way to the far bar, half dancing the entire way there. Miroku just shook his head and followed Inu and Sess to the closer bar. After the guys got their drinks, they turned to the dance floor to find the girls dancing, seemingly without a care.
“Nothing much, just to talk. Oh, and me back but as hell hasn’t frozen over yet, just to talk.” Kalen responded. Kagome just laughed then ran off towards the guys. “Anyway, he wouldn’t drop it so I finally had to just hang up, but it really put me in a bad mood.”
“I know, we need a new phone again.” Sango laughed. “I know I know. You’ll ante up for it.”
After a few more songs, Kalen and Sango went to get another drink, joining Kags, Sess, Miroku, and Inu at the bar.
“He’s a goddamn motherfucking prick!” Inu was saying. Kalen and Sango looked at each other and shrugged. Then Kagome simply said, “Kouga.”
Inu snapped his head to her and said, “why do you keep saying his name? We all know he’s a jackass. Do we have to keep reiterating it?”
“No, he’s here.” Everyone looked where Kagome was pointing and saw Kouga walking over to them.
“Awwww fuck!” muttered Kalen under her breath.
“Kalen, darling. You look lovely. Living with Sango must agree with you.” Kouga smiled as he said.
“Uh, yeah.” Kalen replied. “Much better than my previous living arrangement.”
“Oh, but Kalen darling,” he said, grasping her hands, “now you must pay rent and utilities. If you had just stayed with me, it would have all been taken care of.”
“Yes, but there was a price, just not monetary. And I wasn’t willing to become part of your ‘harem’ in order to get free rent. You know that’s why I left. We’ve been over this. I’m not moving back in.”
Kouga simply winked and said, “Kagome…” but when he turned to look for her she had disappeared.
Kalen and Sango sighed and left for the bathroom leaving Kouga with the guys.
Sess looked at Inu who was growling at Kouga. “What the fuck did you do to her?” Inu all but screamed.
“Nothing, nothing at all.”
Sess then calmly asked. “What do you want with Kagome? What could you possibly have to talk to her about?”
“Why do you care, Sesshomaru? It is between she and I. You are not involved.”
His eyes flashed red and he said, “It has everything to do with me. She is mine. If you so much as look at her wrong, I will kill you……with a smile.” he added.
“Hmmm…yours? Interesting.” Then Kouga walked out of the club.

When the two girls found Kagome in the bathroom, she was blotting her eyes and reapplying her mascara. “Kagome, please tell me you’ve told Sess about it.” Sango said.
“Kags, you need to tell him sooner or later if you are serious about him. I mean, he’s going to find out someday. Wouldn’t you rather he hear it from you?” asked Kalen. She always had the best advice for everyone else. Now if only she could apply it in her own everyday life, she might have an easier time.
“You guys are right, I know. But everything is so good with Sess right now I don’t want to screw it up. And yes before you can ask, I don’t think he’ll want to touch me after I tell him.” Kagome sighed, dropped her head in her hands and moaned, “Do I have to?”
“YES!!!” Kalen and Sango shouted in unison.
“Ok, ok. I’ll tell him either tonight or tomorrow.” Kags sighed in defeat. With that promise the girls headed out to the guys.
“Miroku,” Sango started, “where’s Inu?” Miroku just started stuttering and looked at Sess for help.
Sess coughed into his hand and said, “Outside.”
Sango and Kags glared at their respective guys and Kalen just ordered another drink.
Miroku sighed and said, “Kouga came back and taunted him as usual so when Kouga left, so did Inu.”
“Cracking his knuckles I might add.”
“Thank you Sess. I’m sure they needed to know that.” Miroku stated sarcastically.
“OH SHIT!” Kags and Sango said and they ran out. “Get your asses out here you bakas!”
“We’re going to need your help!”
Once outside, they found a bloodied Kouga in a heap on the pavement and a bloodier Inu wavering over him.
The guys sighed and Miroku went to check Kouga’s pulse as Sess grabbed Inu’s shoulders to steady him. “Is it mostly yours or his?”
“His.” Inu answered.
Kags and Kalen had gone to get the cars and when Kalen pulled up in Miroku’s, Sango opened the door and told Miroku, “Put him in. We’re taking him to my place to fix him up. Kalen go with Kags, Sess and Inu. I don’t want you near Kouga if I can help it. You might finish him off if he says something.”
“Gotcha!”
Kags and Sess loaded Inu into Sess’s car and Kalen got in the back with him. “Just keep him conscious til we get to his place.”
After they dropped Inu and Kalen at Inu’s place, Sess made sure Kalen had everything she would need to take care of him and they left to check on Kouga and give Sango and Miroku some help. Kalen plopped Inu down in the bathroom and started cleaning his wounds.

So I know it took me a while to update, but I have been superbusy. I'm taking 11 hours of classes this summer and I'm really behind in everything, including updating. Please review. I have one more chapter already written, and I will post it later on today or tomorrow, but if I don't get any reviews I may just stop this story. Please let me know if you want me to continue. “So Kalen, what did Kouga want?” Sango yelled over the music.“Nothing much, just to talk. Oh, and me back but as hell hasn’t frozen over yet, just to talk.” Kalen responded.
