“I told them that I could do this, see I'm totally not a spoiled brat.” 24 years-old Kagome Higurashi spoke into her cell phone. Today was the first day of her job as a secretary for……uh what was his name again? Whatever, just one of the boss's sons, wait…how many sons does he have?

“ Kagome, KAGOME, KAGOME, your spacing out on me now?” a voice came from her cell phone.

“I'm sorry Sango, just spaced out a little,” Kagome apologized, “Anyways I got to go, I can see the building now, oh remember `The Corner Café' for lunch.” She added and hung up. Almost there she thought, and sped up just a little. Out of the sudden, a blur of silver and BAM it made contact with Kagome's silver convertible.

“OMG, are you hurt, I'm so sorry, I'm really sorry, don't sue me, are you dead?” Kagome started ranting. She knelt down next to the fallen person. He is HOT, she thought. The glistening silver hair, oooooo are those ears, I have to touch them. Wait…calm don't Kagome, he could be seriously injured and here you are thinking about his hotness. She mentally slapped herself.

“Ow…I'm gonna kill the bitch who did this,” the victim groaned. He turned his head and stared directly into Kagome's eyes. “Any last words?” he asked her.

“Um…yeah….can I touch those?” Kagome asked, pointing to his ears. His eyes are so pretty, too, she thought.

Who is the girl, well beautiful girl, Inuyasha thought. He blushed when he felt soft fingers rubbing his ears. “Oy, I didn't say you could,” “Shit, I'm late, my dad is going to kill me!” he cussed. That got Kagome to look at her watch, “OH SHOOT, I'm late for my first day of work, how bad can this day get, first I hit this amazingly hot guy, and now I'm late…if he fires me, I'm never lived down the teases I'll get from Dad and Souta.” She wailed, unaware that she just called Inuyasha amazingly hot. However, he did, and blushed. “You're fine right?” Kagome asked. “Feh, like a little bump can kill me.” He said and walked into the building.

“Wait…he works here too?” Kagome thought as she parked her car in the company's underground parking lot. She quickly straightened her skirt, brushed her hair, and headed for the elevator. When she reached the 57 floor, she walked toward the office reading, `CEO- Inutashio Takahashi'
