Chapter 2- The Demon called "Vixen"

She opened her eyes to see she was in a room. She sat up and looked around. "you're awake vixen?" Sesshomaru said from the corner of the room. She faced him, *it's…him…* "tell me your name, vixen," he demanded. She spoke no word. Sesshomaru glared at her, "speak, vixen."

She looked to the ground, "where…am…I?" "at my castle. In the Western Lands," he answered, "now tell me your name. now that I know you can speak." She looked back at him, *my…name?* "well? I'm waiting, vixen," Sesshomaru said impatiently.

"I…I have no name…" she said. "not possible. What name did your mother give you?" Sesshomaru asked. "I've…I've been called `vixen' all my life…by everyone…the court…my parents…even the citizens…I was called…`vixen'…" She said sadly.

"then I shall continue to call you that," Sesshomaru said as he stood up. Vixen looked at him, "who…are you?" "I am Lord Sesshomaru of the Western Lands," Sesshomaru said as Jaken walked in. Vixen looked at the toad youkai, "hello." Jaken huffed, "don't flatter me with politeness, vixen! I'm not hoping on getting to know you!"

Sesshomaru turned to leave, "but you will show manners towards her. She is still royalty." Jaken mumbled in protest. Vixen watched as Sesshomaru left the room, *I can't tell him my name! I don't even know him…what if he turns me in? Can I even trust him? But he saved me from those youkai…*

Jaken stared at the dazed youkai female, "stupid vixen." Vixen glared at him, "stupid ass toad…" Jaken's jaw dropped, "bitch!" Just then a gust of wind filled the room. Several wind blades struck Jaken to the ground. He scurried out of the room, "damn you vixen!" Sesshomaru watch Jaken pass him, *so she is a wind sorceress? Tempting. It's rare to see someone with her powers. Let alone her breed.*

Vixen stood up and faced the window, *I can't let anyone know who I am…I know he'll hunt me down anyway…he always has…and always will…*
