Dance With Me

Chapter 3: Haunted

"Don't do it." The light navy blue haired Kagome said. She knew that Sesshoumaru was planning to slice the helicopters in half. He held her around the waist propping her beside him. She pointed north to her home. She knew the helicopters would follow so she put a barrier to prevent the media to follow. The last thing she needed was that the media surrounding her house.

When they reach the shrine they went into the well house and jumped in together. They finally reached the Federal Era. Sesshoumaru jumped out with Kagome onto the grass.

"Shards." She demanded showing her hand asking for them.

Sesshoumaru hated to depart from her. She was talented, witty and high-spirited. The only problem she was human and a miko which made it worst. Sesshoumaru swiftly reached in his hario (someone plez tell me how to spell that) and pulled out two brightly pink glowing shards and dropped it to the left of her hand aiming for the floor. Then he took his leave swearing he will see her again.

After Kagome was finished glaring draggers in his back when he left she stooped down picked up the shard and hopped down the well. On the other side she thought she could enjoy her "vacation" at home. She reached her room and plopped on the bed falling asleep before actually hitting the bed. After five minutes of sleep…

"KAGOME GET UP WE'RE LEAVING NOW!" Inuyasha yelled waking her up instantly. He picked her up around the waist and picked up her famous yellow bag filled with supply and jumped into the well.

"PUT ME DOWN! SIT!!" She yelled. Inuyasha fell, but bring her down with him. Inuyasha was on top of Kagome who was lying on the grassy floor of the Feudal Era.

"Now you know how I feel." Inuyasha said smirking. His face was so close to her, she can feel his breath on her. His face was coming closer to hers. Kagome closed her eyes waiting for the lips she longed to touch. His lips were about to touch hers …

"KAGOME-OKSAN!" Shippo shouted

Inuyasha jumped off of Kagome in one second flat. While Kagome stood up, Shippo ran into her open arms.

"Inuyasha hit me while you were gone." Shippo wailed.

"You little brat! Come back here!" He yelled while chasing Shipppo.

"Sit." She said tiredly, this happens every time. Some things don't change. Inuyasha watch Kagome with Shippo leave to the village from the floor. The miko and the kitsune got closer to the village to continue on their mission to collect all the shards.

*A week after*

"What are you doing to me?" He whispered hungrily into her ear as he lay on top of her. He can see her smile. It was strange, he can't see her face well just her lips were evident. Her lips were rosy pick, glossy and plum it looked so sweet and kissable. Her hair was midnight black with light navy blue highlights. She was lying in a bed in her silk white night grown, her body was glowing with a faint pink. She looked like an angel; his angel.

"Kagome." He whispered. As he leaned in to kiss her…

Sesshoumaru suddenly woke up with sweat coving his sheets at his castle

"Stop haunting my dreams." He whispered to himself.

These dreams had been going on her seven days now and he hated it yet loved it. Each dream was in a different landscape with her in different clothing he never saw before but it was all the same position. She was a mystery to him. It confused him; he was intrigued by this girl. He never had felt like this way, confused. He felt he was not in control of himself anymore, this angered him greatly. `This Sesshoumaru will find out who she is' he promised to himself.

~Inu-group near the West~

"SIT! We are resting NOW no matter what you say, we have been walking for twelve hours!" Kagome yelled as she sat down staring at the darken sky.

"Kagome is right. I'm tired we shall rest tonight in the forest." Mirko said.

"Feh! Pathetic humans, they always need a rest." Inuyasha wined.

"Sit." Kagome said plainly as she followed Sango and Mirko to camp.

Night came and everyone was well feed and ready to sleep.

Inuyasha was in the tree…again. He was thinking of his Kagome. In the past seven days they didn't talk much because of that attempt at kissing her, it confused him. Did she hate the fact he was about to kiss her? He was scared to loss her, loss another woman in his life not again, his heart can't take it. But lately he has been thinking of Kikyou too. He was worried about her, he doesn't want to hurt Kagome but he can't help it he used to love that woman.

"Kikyou." He whispered.

Kagome woke up in the middle of the night with sweat all over her face. She looked up at the Hanyo to see if he had noticed her rude awaking, relived to see he didn't. Kagome slowly stood up with her draggers in her selves and started to walk towards the river. When she was finished washing the sweat from her face she stood up and stared at the sky. Thinking of the dream, why is it always Sesshoumaru? Why?

"What do you want?" She asked quietly

"You impress me, miko." Sesshoumaru said standing beside her.

"Kagome." She replied sitting down to hug her knees.

"Kagome." He quietly whispered to himself to test her name. He liked the sound of it; Kagome.

They stay there for awhile in silence enjoying the scene and each other company. Every one and a while he would steal glances at her noting that her smell was familiar. They watch the beautiful sun rise in the East. Sesshoumaru stole one last glance at her, she looked beautiful he watched the water dance on her face, reminding him that day that changed his life. He remember the way she dance, he loved. How will she dance with him?

"Good-bye." She said as she stood up and went back to camp.

"I'll see you again." He told her as he disappeared in the forest.

Sesshoumaru hid his scent and aura to follow her back to camp making sure she was fine and safe. The Taiyoukai watch her settle down near the kitsune, holding him motherly. The miko was so kind, sweet towards her pup and plus she her pup was a full youkai, it didn't make sense who was she. This human girl was so much more than any human yet she had all of the vulnerabilities. She treat this youkai like her own, she treats everyone as her equal.
