Dance With Me

Chapter 5: No means no!

~Forfeit the game / Before somebody else
Takes you out of the frame / Puts your name to shame
Cover up your face / You can't run the race
The pace is too fast / You just won't last~

"I can't stop thinking of you, please," a short pause made the forest silent "Come away with me."

"No," She whispered back "I can't"

Sesshoumaru took a step back, he was so disappointed. She was so loyal to the hanyou even after betraying her. He was about to leave when…

"I was joking! I'll come,^.^" Kagome laughed *anime fall* (a/n: Sesshoumaru did the anime fall) "just give me one day to say good-bye to my friends." Sesshoumaru suddenly picked up Kagome in bridal style way which made Kagome grabbed his chest. This made Sesshoumaru smile a bit. He set Kagome down near the camp and left without a word.

"Jackass." Kagome mumbled knowing he heard that. Walking into the camp, Shippo jumped into Kagome's open arms.

"Back so soon?" Miroku asked

"Yah, but I'm only staying for one day because I have a test in two days." Kagome lied.

Kagome looked about the camp seeing no Inuyasha which made her a little depress. `He's still with her. I hope she doesn't try anything.' Kagome thought as she watched the fire eat away at the wood. ` You betray me and now I betray you.'

Kagome woke up to the sunlight seeping through the army trees touching her face. She looked up to see a hanyou in a tree hugging the Tetsusaiga. She smiled sadly at him watching his hair fell curtaining his face from view. She sung to herself very softly...

Inuyasha listened to her. Her lyrics combined with her voice made the verse sound beautiful yet it was sorrowful. Was she talking about him? Why is she here? Did she see him with Kikyou? Then if she did why is she here? Kami my head hurts-_- I'm not use to thinking.

The day wore on and the group had a day to rest. Soon the afternoon came which means…

"Ramen!" Inuyasha shouted as they settle down for lunch. While everyone ate Kagome cleaned up everything because Inuyasha insisted that she was getting fat…again. That earned him a good set of 30 sits from the usual set of 10 sits…ow…`It's all worth it' Inuyasha thought as he slurped the Ramen.

`Sesshoumaru is suppose to pick me up today…wait…I never told him when. What if he barges in here and tak… oh no…' Kagome thought as she feel strong arms wrapped around her waist.

"Bag! Bag!" She yelled as she tried to reach for her bag when Sesshoumaru was about to leave. Inuyasha hesitantly dropped all his Ramen and unsheathed his Tetsusaiga, but it was too late. She was gone.

"KAGOME!!"

Inuyasha left the camp in search of Kagome.

Meanwhile…

Kagome had a fist full of Sesshoumaru's shirt in her hand as they flew across the blue clear summer sky. She was so nervous but she didn't like to admit her fears of height so she kept it to herself. To keep her mind busy she continued the lyrics of the song in her head while humming the beat out loud.

Sesshoumaru listened to her humming which was an interest to him. When the humming stopped he looked down at the sleeping miko and took note of how strange her Kimono was. It was so…revealing and this had an effect on him which he didn't want her to know. Her face was so peaceful; she looked like an innocent child. She was so pure and innocent; every demon wants that, even him.

They arrived at his castle late at night. He placed Kagome and her bag in a beadroom across from his room so he could keep an eye on her. Sesshoumaru gently positioned Kagome on the bed and left to get some sleep.

~In Kagome's Dream~

Kagome stood on the grass near the well on the other side stood Inuyasha and Kikyou hugging and looking at her.

"Why? Kagome Why?" Inuyasha said with no emotions in his voice and blank eyes.

"Why what?" Kagome asked.

"Why did you betray me?"

Kagome got very pissed off by this. Without thinking she shot an arrow at Kikyou and turned her into dust. Inuyasha's eyes turned blood red and bared his fangs.

"I HATE YOU"

Kagome snapped her eyes, she was panting and sweating. She slowly sat up. Kagome felt she needs to get some stress off her shoulder so she got up and tried to find the room.

It was hard to count how many door she passed or how stairs she climbed but after one hour and opening almost fifty doors she finally found the room. She lit all the troches and looked around the room. The room had concrete walls with sword, daggers, shield and bow and arrows decorating the walls of the room.

She chose her weapon which are the daggers and started to practice with the dummy. The dummy took all the anger and stress out of her.

Meanwhile…

Sesshoumaru never sleeps well. He usually keeps on alter even in his own safety of his home. You can't be too careful. So Sesshoumaru was having his so-call "sleeps", but he heard noises coming from below; to be exact the dojo room. So he decided to see what the commotion was.

The ice prince gracefully strolled to the room as he grew near the room he hear singing.

He came at the door to only see the miko girl practicing with his daggers. He look over her body she was wearing weirder clothing that he never seen. Black sweat pants that reach just below her ankle and a tight tank top with white ankle socks and no shoes. Her beautiful midnight black hair was tied into a high ponytail.

Sesshoumaru was memorized by her form of her attacks. Kagome gracefully kicked and stabbed the dummy in the essential parts. Her fragile body delivered heavy blows with sophistication and swiftness. Then he paid attention to her singing, she was still continuing the song he had heard before.

Kagome snapped her head around to the sound of someone clapping.

"Not bad for someone at your stature." Sesshoumaru said commenting on her fighting skills.

"What do you mean by some by your stature?" Kagome was slightly offended so she proceeded with her training and ignored him showing his presence was not appreciated.

Sesshoumaru was unaffected by her act and promptly stood behind her.

"You should kick higher." He suggested as he gently grabbed her thigh and lifted it to the proper position. The Taiyoukai inwardly laughed at her sudden stiffness of her body.

Shivers were sent down Kagome's body as he touched her. She slowly leaned back into his firm chest as he raised her leg. She didn't like the contract it was too unnerving for her.

He continued to raise her leg which is causing her to lose her balance. All of sudden he disappeared back to his room dropping her on purpose.

"I swear I will kill him soon. Arg!!" She silently swore to herself.

"Just one more week and I'm outta of here and onwards to it. I can't wait." Kaomge squealed happily.

Sesshoumaru was in his room and he still heard her words.

"Don't tell me she is going to it. Impossible. Maybe she's talking about returning to my brother. No that makes any sense. I guess I have to wait." He said as he made a metal note of that.
