Chapter 2: Dancing Like Crazy

Kagome stormed out of the office, ignoring Rin as she gasped in surprise at her slamming the door to Kaede's office. A crack ran up the glass and Rin sighed, shaking her head. "She really needs to learn how to control her temper..." She went back to doing her work, sighing with wisdom and put her headphones on and turned the music up.
After storming out of the office, Kagome went into one of the older smaller classrooms, stamping her feet more. "Who does that son of a bitch think he is! Hip hop being easy! Hmph! I'm one of the best dancers here, of course I'm going to teach! And who cares if I'm only 16!! " Kagome continued on for this for the better part of the next half hour. After calming down enough she sighed. Maybe he's right...maybe I'm not old enough to be a teacher. Kagome shook the thought out of her mind and went over to the stereo that lay on the floor. Inside was a disc labeled "Kag's Jam's."
She pushed the play button, and a jumping bass came out. The music was loud and filled the room with its sound. Kagome looked into the old mirrors and began to dance. She took a step to her left, stomped her foot and punched out with her right hand. She jumped back twice and slide to the ground, landing on her knees and touched her chest to the ground. The beat ran in her veins as she shimmed her shoulders, moving them backwards slowly until her back was resting on the ground. And then kicking her legs into the air, she flipped over so she was on her stomach and rolled onto her back again, jumping up quickly. She moved her hips back and forth, her arms and hands sliding up and down her skin. Any trace of anger was gone with the beat pumping into her ears and flowing through her. She turned twice, then three times and then stopped, standing with her arms open and then began pounding her right foot on the ground, in time with the beat. And then she dipped forward, rolling her hips and ass, and moved in long, languid circles.
Inuyasha sat on the edge of the desk, going through his old file. It had been at least an hour since Kagome had stormed out of the room. He felt the guilt of insulting her creeping up very slowly, like a shadow moving in the night. He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. Without thinking at all, he ran his hands through his long locks and pulled them up into a ponytail. He undid the button up shirt he was wearing, and let it rest on the plastic seat he had been sitting in when Kagome had entered the room. He stretched his legs, leaning into them. And then he did his sides and arms. Finally, he sat on the ground and stretched his calves out good. When he was finally warmed up, he stood in the first position, toes pointed outwards and then slowly, very slowly as to not re-injure his hamstring, went up to his toes. He held it there for about twenty seconds before a loud thump, thump, thump, interrupted the silence. He stumbled and landed on one knee, wincing with pain.
He stood slowly, favoring his left leg so the injured one wouldn't be stressed more. He slowly walked to the door of the office and poked his head out. Rin was sitting there, headphones on her ears, and a loud pounding was coming from out in the hallway. He left the office and the waiting room and went in search of the noise that had just reached his ears.
Kagome was sweating, her breath hot and fast as she danced more sensually with each beat. She rolled her back and her hips followed her as she slowly swayed to the ground. Just as slowly she let herself come back up. She rocked her leg twice to the beat, turning slowly with her hips moving sexually. The air was stale in the room after her dancing for almost an hour straight. But she couldn't stop. The beat drove her to dance. She took a quick step, one foot over the other, and the song changed. While she waited for the next song to start, she stretched up to her toes, her hands reaching for the ceiling. The song started, a wild bass coming in.."THUMP THUMP THUMP".
She immeadietly picked up the beat and started dancing like there was no tomorrow. She stretched and rolled and swayed, beads of sweat rolling down her face and chest. When the song finished, she was on the ground, her knees tucked under her, her back arched, her face pink from the exertion. That was how Inuyasha found her.
He had found the room where the noise was coming from. It was a loud bass filled song. He slowly opened the door, cautious to what he would find. The song was coming to an end, and there was Kagome, stretching and rolling her body so furiously. He swallowed as he watched her lithe body slide to the floor, moving her body in ways he could never even think of moving his own. When the song had come to an end, she had her knees tucked under her, her back arched. She was sweating like the devil too, her face pink from the exertion. The next song started and within a blink of an eye, she was up again, and dancing in the same manner, rolling her hips and arching her back. She was looking in the mirror, watching as her body moved like liquid to the beat of the music and paid no attention to Inuyasha.
Without thinking, Inuyasha pulled off his undershirt and was moving towards her like a panther, and slid behind the lithe form, touching her hips gently. She jumped and finally noticed him in the mirror but didn't say a word as they began to dance. They arched together and when she slide down his body, he felt hot shivers roll down his spine. He growled and as she slid back up his body, and pressed closer to her and put his hands on her waist, pushing gently. Kagome followed him as he turned around. He tilted her head up and took her hands in his, pulling them up above her head.
His breath was heavy already, his mouth inches from claiming hers. And then, he pulled one arm down and spun her away. She blinked a few times and then he pulled her back in the same manner. It was like a challenge. Kagome chose to accept.
He did a slow one, two step, and she followed. Soon they were dancing like they were from Havana, taking Latin Ballroom. And with one move, they were dancing like Ballet dancers. And Inuyasha found something out about Kagome. She would be a perfect prima ballerina.
