Both Sango and Inuyasha stared at Kagome and Miroku. Apparently they had just escaped by the skin on their teeth, for Kagome had her usual kind smile on her face. Miroku followed close behind, with Shippo riding on his shoulder.

 

“Where have you two been? I've sent you out to check on Sango two hours ago, Inuyasha!”

 

Sango's mind raced with stories, she looked from Kagome to Miroku and to Inuyasha. Finally she gave a shrug and simply stated, “I was getting my armor.”

 

“Uh huh”. She wasn't buying it “and why where you here all this time, Inuyasha?”

 

The Hanyou remained silent, Sango jabbed him in the waist “ow! Um… helping Sango, what did you think?”

 

Kagome looked at Sango. The lie wasn't working, and Inuyasha knew it. Luckily for Sango, she can defend herself. But then again, there was that issue with Kagome's miko powers…Now Miroku was glaring at Inuyasha…Glaring!

 

“Well…” Sango was literally lost for words. She picked up her armor and ran towards the camp. Inuyasha followed close behind, calling out her name “Sango!”

 

“INUYASHA! OSUWARI!” Kagome cried, but that command didn't work. Inuyasha left a wide-eyed Kagome in the dust just to look for Sango.

 

 

Naturally, it didn't take long before Inuyasha spotted Sango. She was perched on a weeping willow tree, crying her eyes out. Her armor was thrown on the ground, the only thing that covered her, aside from the draping branches, was her robe…. which was soaking wet. In one swift move, he sat right next to Sango.

 

“Sango…I”

 

“I'm so sorry I pulled you into that, Inuyasha…”

 

“No really….”

“Its just that I've always thought…oh it doesn't matter now. I doubt they would even talk to me…”

 

“There's something I have to tell you!” Inuyasha said finally, Sango looked up at him, he continued, “It's about Kagome and Miroku…I think she's bearing his child…”

 

Sango's eyes grew wide, a soft mix of jealousy and relief filled her. She grabbed the Hanyou by the middle

 

“Are you sure?”

 

He pointed to his nose and nodded. A smile grew on Sango's face, she pulled the hanyou to her and kissed him…. hard.

 

He returned the kiss in haste, holding on to the girl. Barely feeling the warmth of her skin through the wet, silken robe. He snuggled up close to her and nibbled on her ear, she let out a soft moan. He whispered softly “there's somewhere I want to take you”

 

All Sango could do is nod. Inuyasha picked her up and hopped out of sight. Not even picking up the scent of Kikyo, who was looking at him with red eyes.

 

“No one will take him from me” she swore “INUYASHA, YOU'RE MINE!”

 

 

 

 

END CHAPTER: Sorry about such a short chapter. Work is catching up with me! I need something bad to happen to the characters. Things should get a lot more interesting, lol. Please review and I promise a longer chapter when I get the chance!
