Introduction

This is my second story that I wrote. The first one that I put on mediaminer, no one liked it because they said that I made Kagome "annoyingly conceited." So I deleted it before anyone else could put down my hard work. I'll put it back on when I rewrite it and make it better. (Rolls eyes) Anyway if you want to read my story read it. If you don't, don't. If you like it read and review, but if you don't, don't even bother. Sorry to all the nice reviewers if it sounds like I have an attitude, but I just can't stand it when reviewers can not you tell that they don't like your story in a nice way, but anyway I'll let you get to read my story.

Chapter One

Confused InuYasha

Kagome went home to her time to get some more ointment, medicine, bandages, and some things that the gang needed...

"Mom I'm back!" Kagome yelled thinking that someone was going to answer her back but no body did, so she called again. "Mom! Grandpa! Sota!" no one answered `They must have gone somewhere' she thought. Kagome decided to go to the refrigerator and see what she could make to eat. All they had in there was some milk, left overs from the night before or some other night, sandwich food, and a gallon of Arrowhead Drinking Water. So she decided to make herself a bologna sandwich on white bread with no crust and no tomatoes. She sat down at the Cherry stained dining room table that looked like it was just polished by a professional (her mom is a compulsive cleaner). After she was done she went upstairs to pack her supplies in her little yellow backpack. While she was doing so she couldn't help but think of how much she loves InuYasha, but she knew that she would never be able to get that close to him because he still loved Kikyo (that evil bitch that I don't like). I mean she knew that he cared for her, but she wanted to know if he could ever love her the way that he loves Kikyo. *sigh* Kagome went into the bathroom and started to fill the tub with semi-hot water and bubbles. She untied the belt to her red silk robe and let it drop down to the floor. She tested the water with her toes, she decided that it was good enough to sit in. Her whole body relaxed as she slowly submerged her body into the water *sigh*. "It feels sooo good to have a hot bath after five months...(did any of you notice that Kagome sure is sighing a lot?)

Meanwhile InuYasha was getting nervous because he didn't know where Kagome went at all. When He went inside of the hut everyone was staring at him like he had some kind of bug on his face. He noticed that everyone was staring at him.

"Does anyone know here the hell Kagome went?" he said pacing back and forth

"Relax InuYasha. She will be back. She just went back to her time to get some things that we needed. She's fine." Miroku said trying to calm him down but instead he made him even more pissed.

"WHAT! Why didn't anyone tell me where she went. I'm the leader, I'm supposed to know where everyone is going. What if something happened to her? It's gonna be my fault because I didn't protect her."

"I wish that you would make up your mind on who you're going to protect." Sango said while she was cleaning her demon slaying equipment.

"What's that supposed to mean?" InuYasha said while looking at Sango like she just insulted him.

"Ok. First you were protecting Kagome all the time. Then Kikyo came back into the picture, and you started to be obsessed with her. Then Naraku sent that giant soul collector demon after her, you saved her, then vowed to protect her until your very last breath. And now your complaining because no one told you that Kagome went back home for a while. And now you want to protect her all over again.*fuh*"

"S-So what's your point?"

"My point is, you need to make up your mind on who you want to protect." Sango said getting bored with the whole conversation.

"I'll protect whoever I want to protect. Is that fine with you?"

"Yeah, whatever. Do whatever you want." Sango said

"Now if you will excuse me I have to go see what's taking Kagome so long." InuYasha walked out the hut and was off jumping through the forest and flying on wind currents until he found the well that separated Kagome's time with his. Without hesitation InuYasha jumped through and in two minutes he was in Kagome's time. He jumped out the well and walked to the doors that opened to the outside. He casually walked to the front door while he admired the sights and sounds and different smells. He found the door unlocked, and walked inside. As soon as he stepped in, the sent of Kagome hit his sensitive nose. `Her sent is everywhere' he thought. Everywhere he went it smelled like Champaign and Strawberries with a hint of milk and honey. Instead of going to the smell that was familiar he went to the one that was unfamiliar. He followed it upstairs into the bathroom. There he found Kagome fast asleep in the tub with bubbles surrounding her whole body.

AnimeLover_15: Well I'm finally done with this chapter *wipes sweat from forehead* just kidding. Well for all the people who liked it, look forward to some more chapters. Ok well I `m gonna keep this short.
