Last Chapter

"Now if you will excuse me I have to go see what's taking Kagome so long." InuYasha walked out the hut and was off jumping through the forest and flying on wind currents until he found the well that separated Kagome's time with his. Without hesitation, InuYasha jumped through, and in two minutes he was in Kagome's time. He jumped out the well and walked to the doors that opened to the outside. He casually walked to the front door while he admired the sights and sounds and different smells. He found the door unlocked, and walked inside. As soon as he stepped in, the sent of Kagome hit his sensitive nose. `Her sent is everywhere' he thought. Everywhere he went it smelled like Champaign and Strawberries with a hint of milk and honey. Instead of going to the smell that was familiar he went to the one that was unfamiliar. He followed it upstairs into the bathroom. There he found Kagome fast asleep in the tub with bubbles surrounding her whole body.

Chapter Two

Thoughts of Love

He walked in the bathroom not making a sound. He stood next to Kagome for at least two minutes, then sat down Indian style. He was watching her sleep (as he always does). While he was watching her he had time t think... "In a way Sango is right, what am I saying she's always right. I just can't choose between Kikyo and Kagome. I love them both, but I don't think that Kikyo loves me anymore (duh). Kagome is the one that loves me more than ever. She's been with me through thick and thin, and every time she starts to show feelings for me I start treating her like shit." he thought. All the time that he was thinking about Kagome and his relationship with her he didn't realize that his strong, masculine, clawed fingers were gently combing through her ebony tresses, which was not good because it started to wake Kagome up.

"Mom, is that you?" Kagome said still half asleep. Kagome startled InuYasha, so he started to talk back in a very unconvincing female voice.

"Y-Yes dear, it's me I just wanted to ask when you were going to go back to Feudal Japan?" he said. He kicked himself for even asking that stupid question. He was sure that she would know something was up.

"In like... ummm...ten minutes. I just have to pack and I'll be out." With that said InuYasha went out the bathroom into her bedroom and out her window. He went back through the well and was back in his time. Meanwhile back at Kagome's house, she had gotten dressed and packed her bag. She made sure that her diary was securely locked so that her little brother Sota would not open it when she was gone (even though she knew that he would fine a way to open it). She ran down the stairs, through the front door and closed and locked it behind her. She ran to the well and went through without hesitation.

Once she was there she walked to Kaede's hut. Every one was on the porch. Miroku was meditating, Sango was helping Kaede with supper, and Shippou was playing with his toys and InuYasha...well he was nowhere in sight.

"Hey everyone!" Kagome yelled as she waved to everyone on the porch.

"Hello Kagome." Said Miroku, Sango, and Kaede.

"KAGOME!" Shippou yelled as he lunged himself on to Kagome making her take a few steps back as soon as she caught him. She nuzzled her little fox, but then stopped to look around for InuYasha

"Hey, has anyone seen InuYasha?" Kagome asked

"Yeah, he's out back." Miroku answered.

Kagome went around back to find InuYasha pacing back and forth. From Kagome's view he must have been pacing for a long time, because he was starting to make a path where he was walking.

"InuYasha!" she said waving at the same time. InuYasha got in her face and started cursing her out.

"GODDAMN IT KAGOME, WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN? I mean I know where you were, but what was taking you so fucking long? I was worried sick I thought something or someone had attacked you!"

"Ok. Stop, rewind. Did you just say that you were worried about me?" Kagome said as she arched her left eyebrow, with a smirk on her face. Right about now she was sooo confused.

"I-I didn't say that," he said as he started to blush.

"Aaaaw, how cute. InuYasha still cares about me."

"N-No I don't, I hate you!"

"Rrright, keep telling yourself that."

All InuYasha had to say to her comment was "Yeah whatever bitch."

Shippou had come around back to where they were to tell them that he, Sango, Miroku, and Kaede were going to another village to get some more herbs that they needed for supper. After they left InuYasha had nothing to say to Kagome...

"I'm going to take a nap. Can you wake me up when supper is ready?" she asked InuYasha (it's still light incase you are wondering).

"Yeah, sure, whatever." he said. Kagome rolled her eyes and went inside the hut. She got in her sleeping bag and slowly drifted into a deep slumber.
