Sesshomaru stood in the open, waiting intently for the creature to find him. He sensed his brother back to their own home, a place they used, but only to make the illusion of being ordinary people. He told Inuyasha the truth, he could already tell this one will be no challenge it was a pawn. Perhaps the vampire he sensed before notice his presence and disappeared, sending one of its pawns as a sacrifice. Sesshomaru had come to the conclusion that the one he sensed before was an ancient like himself, one turned, a dangerous enemy. It seemed that he will have more work to smoke the master vampire out, but now he shall handle this one.

“Okay, I’m not mad anymore,” she said in a gruff. “But I would appreciate if you put me down!” she yelled once again. “I thought you said you were not mad” he teased and chuckled a bit, but he did as she somewhat asked.


He placed Kagome down on her two feet. Kagome sighed as she was placed down, but had gotten a bit nervous, here she was in a stranger house and it was dark. Inuyasha looked a bit puzzled, he had placed her down what she asked, but he sensed her nervousness “Is something wrong?” Kagome turned to face him and sighed, “I don’t know about you, but I don’t like being in a strange house, especially when it’s dark” he laughed, he forgotten about that tidbit. His brother and he did not spend much in this home and even if they did, well they had wonderful night vision, so light was never needed for them.


He walked passed Kagome and went toward the light switch at the side of the right wall. Kagome smiled when the light was turned on, but soon her mouth was gaped open. “Oh wow, is this really your home?” she walked down a wooden, but very polished floor and into a huge living room.


The furniture that adorned the place looked so classic and somewhat antiqued like. “Yes, I and my brother share this home...”it was odd to say that word, he and his brother had moved to place to place, never had they called their shelter home, but looking at Kagome, it was home. He smiled as he stared at her and her awed faced, Kagome turn to face Inuyasha, she then blushed, “Why do you keep looking at me like that?” she moved a hand to tuck a lock of hair behind her ear. It felt weird to have a man, especially someone handsome as Inuyasha, to look at her in such a way.


Her stomach did odd flips every time she looked or even touched him. What was it about him? “Is it not natural for someone to look at such beauty before him...”he walked closer to her.

Kagome gaped at him, “You are so weird, I hope you know that” she pointed at him, he took her finger and then engulfed her hand with his larger one “It is duly noted” he placed a kiss in the center of her palm. Kagome looked helplessly at him, no one has ever been this sweet to her, and she never felt this way for any men.


She took her hand back, “Quit doing that!” she scolded and walked passed him, she walked behind a white cream color couch, trying to set distance from him. “You promised that you will answer my questions and yet I hear no answers for them...”she glared at him.


Inuyasha simply gave a laugh and saw her glaring look, he clear his throat “Very well...that man, in the park, is my elder brother, Sesshomaru” “That was you’re brother, well I guess it true I can totally see the resemblances, and he is cute...”she mused, Inuyasha growled which brought Kagome full attention, she placed her hands on her hips and glare at him, “I know you didn’t growl at me, Mister!” she scold, “Well let’s never mention my brothers’ looks or anything” he sniped. She sighed, “I was being observant,” She pointed out; she sighed and waved a hand as if dismissing the subject.


“I do not need this right now, I’m supposed to be home, in my nice cozy bed and dreaming.... about something nice” she huffed.

Inuyasha moved a hand to scratch the bridge of his nose; “For now it would be safe to stay here…with me” he moved his golden eyes to settle upon the petite, raven woman. Her eyes widen slightly and she then shook her head as a signal of no, “I can’t do that!” “And why not?” he looked at her curiously.


She blushed and placed both her index fingers together, a bit nervously “Well…first, I barely know you! You’re a complete stranger to me and second well…”she tried to think a bit, it seemed that she was having a problem with her hormones, she would love to stay here with him…she froze and placed both her hand to her heated cheeks.


She turned around quickly, “This is crazy! I should be home, not some strange guy home… beside I don’t think you’re brother would approve of this” she tried to think up other excuses until she felt strong arms wrap around her.


She gasped, Inuyasha had placed his chin on her shoulder and began to nibble a bit at the side of her neck “I would not be worrying about my brother approvals since he will be leaving us alone for the night” he whispered into her ear and smiled slightly. Chills ran up her spine, how did he get this close to her so quickly, she didn’t even hear him coming and the way he talked to her in such a sexy and husky voice made her melt.

She pulled out from his embrace and turned, placing her arm out to get some distance from him and hopefully stopping any movements to get so close from his end. “Do you do this to everyone female you happen to pass by in the park? Tell those sweet words and…other stuff!” she accused, “No, you are the first and will be the only…”he stared into her eyes and grabbed her outstretched arm and pull her to his chest, she gave a soft gasp as he took her into his arms once again. She felt her chin being pulled up; she was staring into those golden pools of his and felt, for the first time, excited. “Inu…”she was cut off as he placed his lips upon her own.

The night held an eerie feeling, no noise was heard, and not even the heartbeat or flow of the mortal’s blood that walked nearby. Sesshomaru stood as a statue, nothing marred his faced, not even a glint of fear.


A high pitch sound was heard, and then a second and then it sounded as a group. Turning to the noise, he faced red, glowing eyes flapping toward him. The vampire had sent it infected bats, trying to get them to scratch his eyes out.


Sesshomaru stood as they charged toward his face, not even flinching at the high pitch screeching of the bats. The clouds swirls above them, turning black with bits of gray, a blue, white light was seen within the clouds and soon there was a thunderous noise and the blue, white light target and incinerated everyone of those bats on the mark.


He soon sent the bolt to the source and was also rewarded to hear the screeching of a, now, wounded vampire. He dissolved into mist and sped toward the vile one, before he escapes him. Which would be impossible, being that Sesshomaru was an unrelenting hunter, he would never stop until his objective was dead.


The vampire swayed and screamed at the pain, damning the Carpathian hunter that strikes him. His flesh was decaying, his fangs were black and his eyes glowed red with menace. Sesshomaru appeared before it, his eyes piercing the undead, “It time that you pay for your crimes” he said simply.


The undead hissed at him and tried to escape, knowing that he would be unable to defeat this hunter, before he could dissolve into the air, Sesshomaru moved as light and his arm was through the vampire chest.


The undead gave a face of shock, disgust and a horrible screeching. Sesshomaru pulled the vampire black heart out and toss it far away from them. The vampire flopped to the ground trying to get his heart, but soon had seen a white bolt light striking it and soon it was nothing more but ashes. Soon Sesshomaru sent another bolt toward the vampire body. Using the wind to scattered the ashes away, after cleaning himself from the acidly blood of the undead, he looked to the sky and then shape shifted into an owl.



Tonight he must find a different resting place. By the next raising, he will find that his brother has finally bound his lifemate to him and no longer will be endanger of turning. He sped through the sky; he had done his hunting on this night, and the next raising he shall hunt for the master vampire. He found a cave up a cliff; it was perfect for no trespassing mortals.


As he entered the tunnel, he instinctively reached his brother, but gently so Inuyasha would not sense him, but soon he pulled back. It seemed that his brother was occupied with his woman. He found a resting place, where the soil was rich; he moved a hand for the soil to part as he settles in. He started to weave his safeguards, so nothing would be able to enter his domain without him noticing.


The soil moved to cover and bury him in, his shut down his heart and all of his body functions; this was the way his people slept. The soil will give him solace and would heal whatever wounds he may have gotten during battle. But when he awakes he will be the same no matter what, unable to see colors or feel anything, he will only be a hunter, until he decides to meet the sunrise or turned and be hunted by his brother.


But for his brother, Inuyasha, it will be different. Inuyasha will have his lifemate by his side to keep him safe from the darkness.

A moan was heard between them; neither was sure from whom it came from. Inuyasha placed his hands onto Kagome hips trying to bring her soft, curvy body to his hard one. He can just live like this, never letting go and indulge in her sweet kisses. His body was craving to be within her, making her his in every way.


He heard another one; a moan, a soft light moan and it came from the raven woman before him and that little moan seemed to put his body on frenzy. To think that this woman, so delicate and beautiful can bring him the things that he never thought he would ever get, never will he let go of her.

His instinct was to take her, for all eternity. The demon growled within him, telling him to take her now, that she was only his. He moved his lips to let her breathe, but soon moved to kiss and nibble the side of her neck.


Kagome whole body was on edge, she was in a very beautiful and most likely an expensive home and she making out. Though she may have kissed two guys in her life, but Inuyasha kiss was earth shattering.


If she were not leaning into his arms, she would have fallen down to the floor. Her body was excited and she was unsure of what, she heard a rumble, it seemed that Inuyasha growled and the sound made her more excited for some reason. Her toes curled, heck everything was curling up.



When he parted from her lips, she took in a deep breath, and soon gave a slight whimper at the loss of his lips. But soon gasped and moaned as he kissed and nibbled her neck. It made her wondered how many women; Inuyasha had kissed senseless like this.


A hand gently pulled her hair, pulling back until she stare up into his hungry eyes, “You are the only woman and will be the only one for me…do not doubt that” it felt as if he read her mind, but she liked his answer.


“How can you say that? We just met…” Kagome moved her index finger to lightly touch Inuyasha lips. He kissed her finger, “You’ve saved me, Kagome…and no other would be able to give what you have given me,” he said it seriously with a bit of a loving tone. She was a bit confused, but her heart leaped, for some inane reason.


“What could I have possibly given you that no other woman is unable to do?” she gave a slight smile. “You have given me a life with colors and things I never thought I would ever feel or remember,” he simply said and to stop further questions, he went to capture her lips with his. He sensed his brother in his mind a while ago, but was glad to know that he was all right and now safely underground.


Without parting from her lips Inuyasha moved an arm behind her knees and brought her up and carried her down the hall and up a stairwell. He would keep his word to her, from earlier and refrain from taking her completely. No matter how much his body craved her and to keep a tight leash on the demon within him, seeking satisfaction from his woman.


Reaching the top of the stairs he moved down the wooden floor, where there were five doors on the left and another three to the right. He went to open the door using one of his other abilities his people were blessed with. “Inuyasha…” Kagome pulled back to look up to him, her eyes held hesitation and a bit of fear. “Don’t ever be afraid of me, Kagome, I would never hurt you. I simply going to put you to bed, it late and the sun will be up soon…” he placed a kiss on her lip as he walked into the room and toward a queen sized bed.


Kagome smiled as he placed her on the bed and soon moved to settle next to her. “You’re truly a gentleman Inuyasha” she teased and gave a soft laugh. “And you are a very beautiful woman, that should get some sleep soon as well” he looked to the window and the glass door, What in the world possessed Sesshomaru to get a home with so many windows…he thought.


With a wave of his hand he moved the heavy curtains to cover the window, hopefully he would be able to stay here with her during some daylight hours, before he too, must seek the ground. Kagome looked a bit amazed and turned toward Inuyasha, “You can move things?” She exclaimed, “Oh course I can, love” he gave a smile.


“Well I suppose the way you brought me here like a speeding bullet and I have a feeling you can communicate with your brother in other way” “I can do many things, but I will show them to you another time” It was crazy, but Kagome settled down next to Inuyasha, cuddling close to his warmth. “I should really tell you to get out, but seeing that you won’t be doing anything inappropriate…I can trust you” she laughed.


He moved a hand to stroke her dark tresses, “Do not worry about anything I would never do anything inappropriate…just for tonight” he teased, but in some way meant it. Kagome yawned and smiled a bit as Inuyasha removed her shoes and placed the blanket over them.


“Something tells me you won’t be able to stay here with me, but will you be here when I wake up?” she felt so odd saying something like this. What did she care if he was here or not? But she was basically fighting sleep just to talk and snuggle with him, even though he was somewhat of a stranger to her.


“Yes, I will be here when you awaken” he smiled and wrapped his arms around her form; he was the one placing Kagome to sleep, so she would sleep deeply and not wake until he allow it. “That good…goodnight Inuyasha…let’s…talk more tomorrow, okay” she mumbled a bit and soon had let sleep take a hold of her. “We will talk to each other many times and always…” he kissed her cheek and settle watching over her as she slept.



I think I find the way I ended this chapter creepy and cute xD
Yup still updating and editing my sweets, but will definitely be getting on this! Until then, see ya! ^-^

Oh reason I’m editing the chapters because I totally feel like I can make it better and more satisfying for me and my readers. I felt I did a shoddy job and wanted so badly to fix and tweak a few things…
