Inuyasha stood in the middle of the park as he closed off certain distractions, so he would be able to sense or hear something that may give him a chance to find the vile being. Sensing nothing, but the shifting of his brother, he was ready to take flight, but instead felt something behind him. His breathe caught, as he heard the person voice as she apologized for something. He slowly turned to find a raven hair woman with big, beautiful blue eyes. Her skin a bit pale, her lips were the color of rosebud. He stared at her in awe, to know the color of her eyes and lips was something of a shock. Not being able to see color in centuries and at this moment, he was able to see and feel as well.

He stared at her curiously, as she was apologizing for something he didn’t even feel. Her voice was enchanting to his ears, he looked at her smiled lightly, the first real smile he ever had, bought back from the bleak existence and the glorious creature in front of him bought it back.

Kagome stopped her babbles of apologizes, as she stared up at the man, he looked at her quite strangely. What annoyed her was he did nothing but stare at her, not even stopping her rants of apologizes. She wasn’t even sure what he was smiling about, though it looked very good on his face, she looked at him carefully; she found him gorgeous. What odd eye color and his hair...it looks so soft and silky....she had the urge to dig her fingers into his hair. She shocked herself and started to blush furiously. She cleared her throat and looked at him with dismay “Can you please say something....I feel weird with you looking at me like that” she said honestly.

Inuyasha blinked at her and straighten up, “I apologizes...”he smiled apologetically. “It’s okay...”she smiled back, unsure of what to say. He became silent and thoughtful, he looked around the park, viewing for the first time the color of the green leafs upon the trees and looking up at the crescent moon, it was miraculous for him to finally see color and that he can feel his excitement of them all.

He then returned his gaze to the glorious creature before him, “It quite late for a young woman like you to be out this late unescorted...”he said sternly. She flinched at his statement, “I’m old enough to take care of myself...”she shot back. Inuyasha stared at her and soon chuckled, no one has ever talked back to him, well perhaps his brother.

Kagome looked at him curiously, she was unsure what it was about him, but he seemed safe, but everything inside told her, he was dangerous, that she should run, while she had a chance. But she did nothing but stand there. “May I know your name?” Inuyasha broke the silence between them. Kagome stare up at him again and started to nibble her lower lip, unsure if she should give her name out to a perfect stranger, but she did anyway, “Uh...Higurashi...Kagome” she said nervously, “May I know yours as well?” she asked. “Mine is Koujima, Inuyasha” he smiled.

“May I ask where you were heading” Kagome looked at him warily, “Well I was headed home...I’m not the type to roam the street this late, especially with all the murders happening lately” she stiffen a bit as a thought occurred and looked at Inuyasha, suspiciously.

He chuckled a bit “I’m not a danger, sweetheart, I was merely taking a walk” he moved his hand and captured hers within his. Kagome looked at him in surprise, but as well blushed. “Let me escort you home...” she was indecisive once again, it was unlike her to talk to a stranger, though he gave her his name and he didn’t seem a threat to her, at least. She sighed; “Alright, but no funny business or you’ll be sorry” she smiled with a light laugh.

Inuyasha thumb stroke over her knuckles, “I give you my word, there will be no funny business, tonight” he said it more as a vow. Inuyasha followed Kagome lead towards her home; he took in her scent, so he will always be able to find her. Everything about her was incredible to him; he never thought that a mortal woman would be his other half, though he was not complaining. “Your silent again, it a bit odd as well to have someone staring at you...”she looked up at him. “I apologize, once again, but I must say you are a very beautiful woman” he said seriously but with a smirk on his face.

Kagome only blushed at his remarked, “I thought you agreed to no funny business...”she replied. “I’m not doing anything funny....I’m simply saying a truth” he chuckled. “You are a very odd man, Inuyasha. I never met anyone that has golden eyes and I guessing that your hair color is actually real...” “I was born naturally this way...” he stated. “Are you sure, it quite odd, unless you were an albino, but you are not one...”she mused.
Inuyasha found her so amusing; he could not help but laugh. Kagome turned too looked at him and blushed a bit, but she found that she enjoyed his laughter. It was husky and deep, it would make any woman falter at the sound of it.

Sesshomaru was keeping track of the undead, but soon took refuge on an outstretched branch of a tree. He scanned once again the area, the enmity of the vile creature had disappeared, and he found it a bit odd. He moved his owl head to look about, he then sensed his brother. He made a hunch and took flight in the direction, Inuyasha was at. He stopped to land on another branch as he spotted Inuyasha with a young woman, if he had feeling he would had been shocked to hear his little brother laughing. Inuyasha...he reached out in their telepathic link.

Inuyasha laughter soon came to a halt as he heard his brother, he was a bit uncomfortable to have him this close, especially near his woman. Yes, brother....is there something wrong? He had almost forgotten that Sesshomaru had gone on a hunt and soon he sensed concerns and worried for his brother health and other things. I’m the eldest; I do not need my little brother worrying over me like a mother hen to it chick...

Inuyasha chuckled a bit, I apologize...he smirked. Kagome looked at Inuyasha a bit concerned, one moment he was laughing than became serious and now he was smiling and laughing once again, Talk about mood swings...she thought. So what I saw is true then...he questioned cautiously. Inuyasha let his brother completely in his mind, to see and feel what Kagome had brought him. Sesshomaru was amazed, well he would had been if he could, I’m quite happy to know you have found you’re other half, but you should not share everything so lightly to me, Inuyasha...he scolded at his brother, but kept it at a stoic tone. It is to help you, Sesshomaru, to give you hope as well....Inuyasha countered.

Sesshomaru cut their link and went alert once more; the vile thing had emerged once again. Inuyasha sensed it as well; he moved to shield Kagome from the danger. Sesshomaru floated down to the ground and shifted with elegance. He turned too walked toward Inuyasha direction.

Kagome stood behind Inuyasha with confusion plastered on her face, the man was getting so confusing now and it made her nervous. Well not Inuyasha, but the way he was acting all of a sudden. She caught someone walking toward them to their right, he looked exactly like Inuyasha. Except that he was a bit taller and his face was narrow and his eyes color was a bit lighter then to Inuyasha dark golden ones.

He barely made a sound as he walked toward them and his strides were so elegant, “So where do you think it will approach from?” she turned to the sound of Inuyasha voice, it turned a bit more serious. Kagome sighed, she did not like this one bit “May someone please tell me, what going on here and who is he?”She pointed toward Sesshomaru.

Inuyasha had turned slightly; beginning to answer Kagome questions, but soon was interrupted. “Inuyasha, you will sit this out, take your woman somewhere safe...”Sesshomaru trailed off, he did not even looked their way as he spoke, he was occupied with scanning the area and waiting for the undead to show themselves.

Inuyasha turned his head toward his brother direction; Sesshomaru took a side glance and saw the stubborn look on his younger brother face. She is you light, her safety comes first before all...do not worry so, this vile one is not much of a challenge, but I shall come to you the next rising to discuss other matters...Inuyasha sighed, but turned around to face Kagome, he slid his arm around her shoulder and the other behind her knees, as he scooped her up. “Hey!”She yelped, “What in the world are you doing?! Where are you taking me?!” she yelled, demanding some answers. Sesshomaru, take care brother and do not delay in calling for assistant...Inuyasha began to walk away, making sure that Kagome presence was not detected by the vampire. The one that will need assistant is you, brother, you’re woman seemed to be the stubborn type, you both make a wonderful pair...his tone was stoic, but to Inuyasha his brother was teasing and gloating as well.

Kagome was miffed at the way Inuyasha was ignoring her, it also made her nervous, like where in the hell was he taking her and what just happened back there. “Do not worry, I’m simply taking you somewhere safe, once we are there I will answer all your questions “he smiled down at her.

She sighed, “Well I can walk” she pointed out, “So there is no point in you carrying me! So put me down!” Inuyasha chuckled “No we will be going in a faster pace now...”he trailed off, she had no idea what he was talking about at all. That was until Inuyasha speed had increased inconsiderably, no one could go this fast at all. She gripped the front of his shirt and shoved her face into his chest. She couldn’t believe the speed they were going at. I found myself a loony...she declared.

She felt him slowing down his pace and then felt him walking normally. She looked up and around a bit as he was carrying her to a huge mansion and toward it front wooden door. “Who lives here?” she asked a bit softy, for any human it would not been heard, but Inuyasha was not human so he heard her question. He climbed the three stone steps and the door open to them, Inuyasha crossed the threshold and the door shut instantly behind them.


:::Well that it for this chapter ^.^...Excuse the shortness xP...hope you like...I will love reviews! Well the next chapter will be a fight scene with Sesshy...WOOT! And then we see what Inuyasha and Kagome will do behind closed doors o.O...lol

Excuse me if I take long in updating, I’m editing and updating this and not to mention I get horrible writer block and my life is chaotic lol but I definitely want to continue this fanfic so bear with me ^^;...well see you later! :::
