A/N: Okay, here's the next chapter, I should mention something, the name of this fic may have nothing to do with the story, it may have but that is still under consideration… read and review!

Disclaimer: I will never have Inuyasha and i will never gained the ownership of any of the other characters either… which is both good and bad, the good is that cause i'm a guy so i don't even want Inuyasha because I'm not gay :) Although it is bad because i wouldn't mind owning Kagome, Sango or Kagura! But reality is such a bitch…

Chapter 4: Inner Feelings.

"Time is always moving forward and the people with it… but there are things that are running in circles even when everything else is moving… Light and Darkness… the chains that bind them to one another for eternity cannot be broken…" - Unknown (I Have no idea why I'm writing these… but tell me what do you think about them?)

*The creepy place…*

The being was tapping it's fingers against the chains as it waited for something… then all of a sudden it felt a huge shock like thump in it's heart, it's eyes could not open but it's mouth opened widely, it happened a second time which after it was panting faster, the seal around it dimming a bit yet again, after it's breath came back it thought with a very pleased grin: `Good… the one or one I'm waiting for are nearby and getting closer, but… what if they hesitate or something delays them? Hmmm… my power has returned slightly… i may have enough strength to `lure' who or whatever has that ability… although… it may not work… well I'll keep it as a back-up plan, for now I must wait…'

*Back at the village with the rest of our heroes… minus Inu and Kagome.*

Kaede looked around herself with a smile, the old Miko had seen during her lifetime a lot of things, many of them had been brutal, sad, bloody or full of hatred… yet, seeing people like this, all celebrating with joy and happiness after a long nightmare… it just made her eye a bit teary…

`Inuyasha and Kagome… those two have accomplished so many things…' She thought to herself as her eye looked around spotting the rest of Inuyashas ominous pack… it was hard to believe that a Houshi, Tai-Jiya, two Youkais, a Miko and a hanyou had formed such a level of trust to one another and even become a pack to defeat the hell spawn known as Naraku, the monster responsible for so many atrocities throughout Japan… to both human and Youkai.

Kaede chuckled lowly as her mind began to fill with images of children many generations from now asking to hear about the legendary `Inuyasha and his pack'… she also frowned a bit, it was not going to be easy one them either from now on… the rumours about their strength and reputation would soon began to spread in the Youkai world and many of them would attack them in hopes of gaining fame for killing even the weakest of their pack… not to mention that many would go after the nearly complete Shikon no Tama as well… Youkai and human alike…

But that was not to be thought about now… now, was a period of peace and relaxation… time to leave all worries behind before starting to think about the future… the future… Kaede wasn't sure why, but thinking about the future gave her an eerie feeling at the back of her neck… like something bad was on it's way…

Sango was feeling a bit woozy… she usually wouldn't drink so much but what the heck? Her revenge was now over, Naraku was burning somewhere in the pits of hell and she had lost her little brother… yeah, those are pretty good reasons to get drunk, right? Also, she didn't want to think what would happen from now on… she had been thrilled that Naraku was dead but after that feeling wore off… there was nothing left…

Even as she was getting drunk, she couldn't stop thinking about what she had left and what she had lost… her village and family were gone, her brother died for good last winter during a battle with Narakus minions and off-spring… Kohaku… even though he had been under Narakus control had shielded her from that assholes minions… even with his memory lost he had somehow known that she had been his big sister…

After that all she had left was her revenge against Naraku and now that it was over… what now? Where would she go? They still had to get the two shards from Kouga and then there was one more left somewhere but what about after that? She had little hopes of finding a husband to settle down with, her body being even more scarred than before… plus her strength and skill made her un-attractive to almost everyone… then the thoughts about living without slaying Youkai… that was all she knew, she had no other skills…

Sango looked around her from where she was sitting, she had been sitting at the porch of Kaedes hut, wanting to be alone with her thoughts… she had taken a bottle of sake with her but she hadn't planned on getting drunk… she still wasn't drunk yet but close enough… it just happened… Kirara had been with her, concerned about her mistress until she had said to her that she should run along somewhere… at first Kirara had been reluctant but eventually had given in and went to play with the village children with Shippo.

Miroku was walking away from the celebration with a goofy smile and thinking: `Wow… when i asked women to bear my child a few years back, they either giggled, slapped or taunted me… now, without asking, about every woman in the village wanted to bear my child and I'm not even cursed anymore! Dear Buddha… if I would have known that to get someone to bear your heir all you had to do was become a hero i would have done that ages ago!'

He then switched into serious thoughts: `That is what i would be thinking if this was the same situation as 4 years ago but now… ever since Sango lost her brother all i have wanted to do was try and comfort her… actually i did do that and actually managed to get y without groping her! Well… her brother was gone and… well even i know when NOT to grope, if i would have groped her back then, she would have butchered me without hesitation I'm sure…'

He was nearing Kaedes hut, he wasn't even aware he was walking towards it because he was so deep in thought: `Sango… ever since the death of her brother she's been so down… of course she isn't showing it but i can see it in her actions and eyes everyday… her revenge against Naraku must have been the only thing that has kept her from slipping away from us, the only thing that kept her from thinking about her present or future… I too am worried about her, during the celebration she was laughing but i could tell she was forcing herself to do it… Sango… it is so wrong that life has denied you from feeling happiness even after this nightmare ended…'

(Maybe OOC, but so what? I just hope I'm not shooting overboard…)

As Miroku was almost at the porch of Kaedes hut, he could have sworn he heard the sound of a katana being drawn… he tried to raise himself into a fighting pose but then remembered that his staff was back at the hut and for an instant felt like an idiot… that is until a realisation hit him… he dashed towards the hut as fast as it was humanly possible, frantically berating himself for not seeing this sooner!

(Heh, I'll leave that one as a cliffie, just to tease you people!)

*Back with Inuyasha and Kagome*

Inuyasha was running and jumping from an branch to branch, looking for his prey… she was good, 4 years of fighting Youkai has made Kagome very good at running from them too… her scent was covered, the noises she makes during moving are so minimal that it's very hard to even hear them… not to mention she had thrown him into the wrong direction two times now… this was so much fun to him… he had to use all the possible skills he had as a hanyou to hunt her… not to mention she was teasing him with her scent, at times he could smell her arousal and it made him lose focus on hunting her… damn, she was SO going to get it when he caught her!

Kagome too was having hard time to keep quiet, she wanted to laugh or at least giggle for the sounds Inuyasha let out when her… `distractions' were discovered… even though it was night and they were in a forest, she wasn't worried about other Youkai attacking here for now… because if they did she could outrun them easily, not to mention she could sense even the smallest amount of You-ki, the fruits of her month long training with her Miko powers…

Right now, the only You-ki around belonged to Inuyasha and she knew that by teasing him she was asking for it… but the thought about how Inuyasha would… `punish' her was just such turn on… on that day they confessed their love, they had made out for the first time and least to say, it had been VERY hot… they did not go all the way though, since the next day the final battle started and they both needed to stay focused… also, the thought of them consuming their relationship was a very good motivation for the battle.

Now, as they had promised, tonight they would become mates but first, she wanted to tease him with this hunt and judging from the way he was hunting her… he was enjoying every second of it too…

Kagome stopped behind a few bushes to catch her breath, one reason why she was making Inuyasha hunt her was to tease him but it was also a small payback for all those times he'd called her a `Wench' or `Bitch'… but the main reason she was doing this was because this had been a [fantasy] she'd been having about him for a while… just the thought of it happening made her heart do flips in her chest…

The dream had been that she was running and hiding in the woods, just like this… the first time she had had this dream she had thought It had been a nightmare… mostly because she had no idea what was going on and even though she didn't know why, Inuyasha had been chasing her, then, after she had been running for what seemed like hours until she was sure she had lost him…

She had arrived at the bone-eaters well but for some reason did not go home… it was a dream so she didn't understand it… until Inuyasha tackled her to the ground and well… from that point it went into a whole new level, ending with him making love to her…

She felt her insides heat up from remembering it… but it ended when she heard Inuyasha say straight behind the bush with a dark voice: "You know wench, you really should learn to control your desires… or am I too much for you to handle?" she froze.

Inuyasha had been trying to find Kagome for at least 10 minutes now… even if it was really lot of fun but he was getting frustrated and not to mention his boner was killing him… he was trying to sniff the air for any kind of scent related to her but he knew it was a waste of time… until a scent he couldn't mistake hit his nose: Fresh arousal…

His grin would have split his face in half if that was possible, she was behind a bush no more than a few feet away… his eyes turned into predatory looking and he got on all fours before silently began to creep towards the bush, when he got there he could smell her arousal and he heard her heartbeat and breathing as well… she was there, she had been in charge of this little hunt long enough, now it was his turn… so with a smirk and a very dark, husky voice he said right behind her: "You know wench, you really should learn to control your desires… or am I too much for you?" He wanted to burst into laughter when he heard her breathing seize and also heard her heartbeat shoot though the roof.

For what seemed like an eternity, in Kagome's mind everything went still, nothing moved… not even her heart… like she was frozen in time, yet it was not because of fear, but because of the extreme level of adrenaline and excitement she felt… well alright she was a bit spooked about the fact that he had found her so fast… frantically she looked around for an quick escape route… `Left? No… right? No… Backwards? No chances there… forward? That'll do… at least for a few seconds.'

Then, right after Kagome got control of her body back, just a millisecond before Inuyasha lunged through the bush, she dashed forward and got out of his reach just in the nick of time… her adrenalin and every other last body chemical and organ were going to extreme levels, this was an overkill of fun and the feeling was truly overwhelming…

Inuyasha kissed the dirt as Kagome by some sheer miracle dodged him at the last instant… he caught the glimpse of her running form in the moon light and his nose was hit with one of the most sweetest smell of arousal and excitement, he thought as he got up and began the final pursuit: `Damn, she's like an oiled little piece of that `soap' she brings with her! Plus, her scent is driving me to the edge, if I didn't have my Tetsusaiga with me I'm sure I would have gone full Youkai to hunt her down! But, now the game is almost over, I can hear her breathing getting rapid and her heartbeat is getting rapid too, she is running on her… `adrenaluli' whatever she said it was, she is running on that alone now and she can't hold out much longer now… it's a shame though, this was really fun! We have to do this again…'

Kagome could hear her body, lungs and heart screaming in protest, her body was at the limit and she knew that there was no way for her to outrun Inuyasha in her current state… but she had to reach one spot, while running and hiding from him, she had found some familiar land marks and knew that the bone-eaters well was nearby… she could just sprint into the woods and hope to hide herself until her heartbeat and breathing would stabilize but to be honest, she neither could wait anymore for Inuyasha to catch her so at least she would make her fantasy into reality…

*Meanwhile… not too far away.*

Kouga was running like the wind towards Kaede's village, he had wanted to come earlier but the clans celebration had taken longer than expected… he was now on his way to claim his woman, the mysterious Miko from an unknown land… (He does not know that the well will take you to the future, he does know it is Kagome's portal home but where that `home' is… well you get the idea.) Ever since day one he had wanted her, her ability to see the Shikon Shards had been the main reason at the time but now he just wanted her to be his…

Well, it was also crucial that he had her now… since he had been one of the `heroes' that defeated Naraku the hell spawn, his tribe and the other tribes believed that the `Mystery Miko', the main heroine of the battle was his mate, since the idea of a hanyou being the main hero was just absurd to them… well when the question came about that where was this mate of his… he knew that if he wanted to claim her, this was the only chance to do it before everything would go haywire…

Then he thought about that dog shit… he would without a doubt get in the way, he would most likely have to fight him in order to get to Kagome, or… if he was lucky she would be alone and he could snatch her, since he had made his [vocal claim] on her first while the dog hanyou had as far as he knew, made none… he smirked, soon he would take his woman away from that dog shit and take her to where her place was, as the alpha female of his tribe.

*That creepy place*

The being could feel his heartbeat becoming more rapid, it was now a normal pulse instead of that weak pulse he had had for a while… the chains were also giving in a little but not nearly enough to break them… his eyes were still unable to open and he was truthfully getting both frustrated and pissed off… then, as he was about to slump, he felt it, `those' two… they were close by, really close by… he chuckled lowly, time was almost up, soon… very soon… he would be able to break free from this fucking place… go back outside to where the sun was, the moon was, where the rain and wind were… as he sensed those two coming closer, he started talking with a low voice, in a language that was impossible for us to understand…

The words were: "Shakahaga dasaraga, jahasaka frashanaka…" and he went on and on… the voice was so low it sounded like a soft, warm yet dark voice in the wind… almost mesmerizing, yet, after about 3 minutes of using this language… he stopped, waited and then said with a sigh: "Damn… I'm still too weak and their minds are too focused on something… it won't work…" He felt really aggravated now, so he described all he felt into 5 simple words: "I hate this shitty place…"

*Back with Kagome and Inuyasha*

Kagome was panting, she had made it to the edge of the well, breathing in and out like she was hyperventilating… her heartbeat was at the point it might blow up if she took one more step… sweat was glistening against her skin as the moonlight made them shine in the night air.

She knew Inuyasha was nearby but was way too exhausted to even sense him… she couldn't help but shiver, this was exactly like in her dream, she briefly wondered if it had been a dream to begin with… maybe it had been a premonition instead? Her Miko abilities had been growing a lot and what she learned from Kaede was that some Mikos could see in their dreams briefly into the future… she shook her head, maybe that was it or not… she then was certain she had heard something… words… unknown to her… like a whisper in the wind, inviting and enticing…

Kagome was sure that she was just imagining things but as she heard them over and over, each time more clearer than the last one… she followed the source of the sound, her eyes moving like locked eagle eyes to the source… the well… the well made those sounds… then as the words continued, five words were suddenly plain easy to understand: "To stop the eternal cycle…" and that was exactly the timing for Inuyasha to pounce out of nowhere and land on top of her, pushing her to the soft grass around the well, the opposite end to `Narakus grave/crater' what was left when he died.

She eeped from the sudden `attack' and before she could make another word, she felt his rough yet sweet lips on hers, devouring her with in-human hunger… and after about one second passed, she realised who it was and her tension left her body and she responded to the kiss with almost the same amount of passion and hunger… her arms wrapping around his neck to hold him and deepen the kiss.

Inuyasha was full of warmth and joy… as well as lust, he had finally caught his little Miko and was not going to release her even if the world ended right now… kissing her felt like a slice of heaven, so sweet, pure, passionate and sublime… the feel of her

lips against his, pressing together and to feel her arms around his neck, deepening the kiss and her moans were a sign she begged for more… he was more than glad to oblige to that…

Kagome had closed her eyes and was moaning into the kiss, the feel of his body pressed against hers like this, even with full clothing was making her more aroused than before. Then she felt him tickling her bottom lip with his tongue, silently asking for entrance and she responded right away to that one, her tongue battling his…

Inuyasha growled lowly into the kiss, pleased that she was responding so eagerly to his plea… then as Kagome kept kissing him her arms began to weave through his silver animal like mane, so purely silver that it was hard to think that blood or anything could ever touch it… then her arms stopped at his scalp and from there went to his puppy dog ears, each hand grabbing one and gently, slowly began to massage them, making him make a sound mixed with growling and purring…

As they finally had to break for air, her arms never seized their ministrations to his ears making him start to purr even louder. Inuyasha was floating on cloud 9 at the moment, she knew his ears were his sensitive spot, the day he confessed his love to her she had massaged his ears while he had been sleeping… and since they were going to be mates and he trusted her more than anything, he had said that rubbing him inside his ears was the equal to rubbing him down `there'…

She felt the effects that her ministrations had on him, she gasped and moaned as she felt his own arousal poking through his hakama (spell check) at her inner thigh… she ceased her ministrations on his ears and he groaned from the loss of contact, so he retaliated by grinding his hips to her core, making her cry out into the night…

After they got some of their breath back, he rose them so she was sitting on his lap, his arousal still poking her inner thigh… she was practically whimpering for him to continue but he had both her waist and back in an iron grip, making her stay still, even though he wanted nothing more than to just rip off all her clothes and fuck her to kingdom come, there was still one question left, he had to ask it in order for his [Mating Claim] to become effective… he moved the arm that was holding her back and cupped her face to look at him, her eye lids were half-way open and her breathing was heavy and hot… not to mention every breath carried with a silent plead for more.

Kagome would have been mad at him for stopping like this but she was so hot and aroused she couldn't care to be mad at all… all she wanted was for him to continue but as she saw his face was a bit more serious at the moment, she opened her eyes a bit more and focused onto him, waiting for what he was about to ask…

Inuyasha saw her eyes focusing a bit and smiled, although his manhood/doghood (dog demon remember?) was throbbing and aching to be inside her he had to push that feeling down for a few more moments… after calming his raging mind he breathed out, his breath making her shiver and he smirked, he the asked with a bit serious voice while looking at her in the eyes: "Kagome, will you be my mate?"

Kagome eyes first widened, all that what she learned from Kaede, Sango and Miroku about Youkai's mating rituals stated that when asked to become their mate is the same as asking to become his wife, except that it was permanent until one dies… truly, until death do us part… she knew that he would ask that but even still, she couldn't help it, a few tears escaped her eyes, tears of pure happiness… the dreams she's had about being with him and all those wishes for this to happen and everything else from between that were really happening… she saw that his eyes were confused, he looked so adorable… but she knew that her tears must be confusing him so without delay she saw one simple word with a warm yet happy voice: "Hai." (=Yes in Japanese.)

As Inuyashas face turned from confused to relieved and happy looking, she slowly began to close the distance between their lips but… reality can be a TRUE bitch sometimes because right at that instant, an angry voice yelled: "OI DOG SHIT! What the hell are you doing to my woman?!"

And at that instant if people listened carefully, they could have heard the gods in the heavens all groan and curse silently, with one of them saying: "I don't believe this, I told you all we should have fried that wolfs hide before!"… (I had to write that one, couldn't resist… so tell me if you liked it.)

[Youkai Claims] = I'm sure most of you know about this shit already, since there are at least 1000 variations of them… but, since this is my fic, the claiming is also in my way. More details later but the Claim Kouga is referring is the `Vocal claim' meaning that he has declared her as `his woman', this claim means he could start courting her and such… it's a low level claim and the female may refuse it… that is she can refuse the male long enough.

[Mating Claim] = This claim is left after the two mate, it's not a mark but a scent that tells other Youkai to back off, this has to have the willingness of the female, if forced it will not work. This is a mid-level claim and can be overwritten by fighting the male who did it.
