Okay, the last chapter was really dumb, so I thought I would just do the 2nd one. Ya know to get more of the story going. Yeah…..well, here ya go. (I need to learn to talk to people more)

~Chapter 2~

After they finished off there fight with an unconscious Miroku and a bruised face InuYasha (have you noticed how the women always win?) Sango and Kagome went off to a hot springs to cool off.

They found one not to far away. As they sat in the warm water they both started to think about today. "I've noticed Kagome-chan that InuYasha has been acting more kindly to you lately" said Sango breaking the silence. "This is the first time you've had to sit him for a while." "True, I haven't really thought much of it. It was kinda my fault, I know he hates spicy food." She sighed. "All he really eats now is Raman." "I bet he likes your food, he just doesn't know how to show it." *Kagome sighed again* `He has a weird way to show it, then.'

They talked some more than decided to see if Miroku had regained consciousness. When they got back they found Miroku was making a fire and InuYasha had gone off with Shippo to look for wood. When he returned they talked about where a jewel shard might be. "There haven't been many rumors; maybe we should go back to Kaede-baba's village and rest a little" Miroku asked. "If we do that, could I go home for a few days?" Kagome asked. "Why? To go back to your precious "tests" hissed InuYasha. "No! 1. It's summer, there's no school. I almost had to go to summer school, no thanks to you. 2. I HATE test! 3. Why would I be any use to you if there are no shard rumors?" InuYasha hated to get her mad. `It's not the shards why I want you here, it's you' InuYasha would think. He wished he could tell her this, but his ego wouldn't allow him to. "I don't think it would do much harm" Sango chipped in. "As she said, there are no shard rumors so there's not much she could do here." "Feh" was his only reply.

InuYasha then jumped into a tree, still a little disappointed that Kagome would leave for a while. He never liked her going home. He always feared she would never come back, but she always would. Even if they had a major fight, she was the first one to come back and say sorry, even when he was the main cause of their fight. `Why do I never say it first? I'll go to her time, but will chicken out, ALWAYS. Maybe I'm just afraid that she won't accept my apologies. Maybe that's why I don't tell her how I feel about her. I'm afraid she'll reject my heart. Wait! Where did that come from! I don't know? Who am I talking too? Yourself, you dumb ass. Why am I answering my self? Because your you. WHAT!' *InuYasha slaps himself hard* "I really am I dumb ass if I can confuse myself" InuYasha mumbled. "InuYasha, is something wrong?" asked a sleepy Kagome. "No, it's nothing." "Are you sure? It sounded like someone slapped you." "Oh, that. That…uh…was…a…a…bug" he stuttered. "Okay then. I was just worried." "Sorry if I woke you up. Go back to sleep, I'll watch over you so nothing will hurt you." Kagome then snuggled back into her sleeping bag next to Shippo.

After lying for about 15 minutes Kagome finally realized what he'd said to her. "Sorry if I woke you up. Go back to sleep, I'll watch over you so nothing bad will hurt you." `Did he really say that?! Better that, did he really MEAN that?!' Kagome than couldn't but help to gaze upon his sleeping form, up in the trees. `Oh, InuYasha, if only you knew how much you mean to me.' She thought as she finally let sleep take a hold of her.

How was that?! Much longer (not by much), and they'll only get longer too. I had to do this one fast, cause my first chapter sucked so much.

I have an idea on how to make this a bit funnier. Now it may just be a side-affect from the coke (I drink a lot of coke), or it could really be something. But how would you like for me to do outtakes at the end? Another author I like does this, but I would not steal hers. I'd make up my own. (No sew, please!) Please tell me what you think about that. But in order for me to hear your opinion, you have to review. So…go do that. Come on, you know you wanna push that lovely little button down there. It's not like it'll kill ya, or will it? MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!
