I don't own InuYasha, and I never will. The wonderful Rumiko Takahashi does so the only way to get him is to be in her Will, which I'm not in. So there!

Chapter 3

Kagome awoke the next morning to InuYasha's yelling. "Come on; if we're going to go to the old hag's village we'd better get a move on!" he yelled as he poked Miroku. "Why all the rush, InuYasha? It's not even sun rise." asked a pissed off youkai exterminator. "Aye, you usually let us sleep a bit longer" a sleepy Shippo added. "That's because you get to sleep longer than the rest of us." InuYasha answered back with an irritated look on his face. "No I don't! I'm always awake when everyone gets up!" "Whatever." "At least let us eat something first" Kagome said as she rolled up her sleeping bag. "Fine, you humans always need to be slow." Just then everyone heard a growl come from InuYasha's stomach. "We may be slow, but everything needs food. Even you InuYasha" Miroku said trying to hide a chuckle. InuYasha just glared at him and went off to get some more fire wood.

After they ate they set off to Kaede-baba's village. As usual InuYasha was at the front of the group, while the rest were not too far behind. `Why is InuYasha being way pushier this morning? And to get to Kaede-baba's house?' thought Kagome. "I'm still so tired!" whined Shippo. "InuYasha's just all freak-out because tonight's the turn of the cycle." `Oh Kami, the new moon! The scariest of nights for InuYasha. Why do I always forget? I need to bring a personal planner with me. ::Note to self:: Do not put InuYasha in a bad spot on the day of the new moon.' "Wow Shippo-chan!" said Sango. "How can you remember such things? I always forget when the new moon is." "Yes Shippo, you must have a good memory" Miroku added. "No, I just can start to smell the human in him becoming stronger. All youkai have great smell, even Kirara can smell the difference in him." Kirara just mewed. "Well than it's best to get him to a safe place. InuYasha has a lot of enemies who would find it there perfect time to strike him" said Miroku. "So we need to protect him when he's in his human stage." Kagome smiled. `I'm glad InuYasha has people who care for him. Even if he is rude to them, he protects them' thought Kagome as she stared at InuYasha. `He needs them, and they need him. Like I need him.' She smiled. InuYasha turned around to find Kagome staring at him with her big, beautiful, smoky, pale violet eyes. (Enough description of her eyes?) "What is it wench? See something you like?" he yelled cockily. "No…it was nothing" she said looking down to hide her blush. `Why do I always stare at him? I can't help it if he looks like a god. A beautiful god at that.' InuYasha hated to make her embarrassed, but his ego ALWAYS had to get the better of him. `Why can I let down my guard for once?' he questioned himself. `I know she won't hurt me like Kikyo did. I have put more trust in her, and I think she has put a lot of trust in me. If she didn't, why does she stay with me? She could go home forever, or go off with that shit-head Koga, but she doesn't. She stays with me. Maybe she loves me? Who knows? If she did love me, I wouldn't care about becoming full youkai. I'd be happy no matter what.' InuYasha smiled. "If only she did as much as me" he whispered.

They kept walking. They only stopped once for lunch, but then hurried on. (Did I mention that they were quite aways from Kaede's?) Kagome was getting tired, but didn't say anything. She didn't want to be a burden. "Kagome-chan, are you alright? You haven't said much since we finished eating." "Oh, it's nothing Sango-chan. I'm just a little tired, that's all." She said with one of those I'll live smiles. Then she bumped in to something soft, but tough. "Get on my back, I'll carry you." Offered InuYasha as he crouched down. "Oh, well thank you." She replied as she hopped on. "It's nothing, you don't weigh much and you're slowing us down." "Well sorry if I'm human, but thanks again." InuYasha loved the way she held on to him. He would carry her forever if he could. Miroku looked at how Kagome was relaxing her head on his shoulder and got an idea. "Sango, if you are tired I will carry you also." He offered with a huge smug on his face. "No thanks I have Kirara, plus, Houshi-sama, you know I'd never let you carry me with hands like that." As she stared at how his hands were positioned to grab her butt. "But if you want, you can ride with me on Kirara's back" she offered not wanting to be completely rude to the monk, whom she had never called by his real name, except in her dreams. "I guess it's better than nothing" he sighed. Kirara then transformed in to herself into the big cat with flaming red eyes and saber teeth. They jumped on and went off to catch up with InuYasha and Kagome. "WHAT FOR ME! You stupid people!" the poor kitsun youkai yelled after them.

Not much longer after that, they finally reached Kaede's village a little after 1:00 in the afternoon, according to Kagome's watch in her big yellow bag. "Why'd we have to rush so much if it's not even close to sun set?" whined Shippo, still mad at having to wake up early, and being left behind. He had to run with all his strength for about 3 miles before anyone realized he was missing and turned back to get him. "You never know what could happen Shippo-chan" said Kagome kindly. If we got into a fight, it could have taken us a long time and it would not be good for InuYasha to become human in the middle of youkai country, would it?" Shippo couldn't stay mad. The happy look on Kagome's face could cheer up the darkest day. "If you're tired, I'll leave my pillow here for you to lie on." "Are you leaving? Where?" "To my home, but only for a few days, so do not worry." "Alright come back soon!" Shippo called as he started off to take a nap. "I will" she called back. "And bring back lots of ninja food! InuYasha ate all of it!" Kagome couldn't help but giggle. Shippo was so cute! (Isn't that true? ^_^) She loved him like a son. She watched him grab her pillow and drag it into Kaede's hut.

When he was inside she went off to find Miroku-sama and Sango-chan. They were usually together, unless Miroku-sama did something perverted. Sango-chan they would either slap him or wack him on the head with Hiraikotsu. But Kagome knew they liked each other, maybe even love each other. She was no dumb brick when it came to relationships, unless it was her own. ::sigh:: `Listen to me plan out there love life, when I should be planning my own.'

As she was looking she ran into InuYasha. "Hi, what are you doing?" she asked. I was just going down to the river to get a drink. I think Miroku and Sango are there if you need them." "How'd you know I was looking for them?" "Well, I never see you be yourself, so I figured you wanted to be with them." `Wow' she thought. `He either watches me a lot, or is insulting me. I hope it was the first one.' "Are you saying I can't be on my own?" she questioned. "No, not really. You're just the type of person who wants to be around people and people want to be around you." "Th…thank you. That's nice of you to say." "I'm not being nice, it's just true." She smiled. He liked when she smiled. He liked it better when it was him who made her smile.

They knew they were getting close, because they heard Sango voice cry out "HENTAI!" then heard a loud slapping noise. "Guess there at it again" InuYasha sighed. "Yah, I know they like each other, they just hold back." "Maybe if they had sometime to their self?" asked InuYasha. Kagome stopped. `What we just said. It's not just Sango-chan and Miroku-sama, it's us too.' Kagome thought of what InuYasha had said, "Maybe if they had time to themselves?" `What if InuYasha came with me to the present era? He's turning human tonight so maybe he'll agree. I could take him out, show him it's not so bad to be human. Maybe become closer with him? And it would give time to Sango-chan and Miroku-sama too! Oh it's too perfect!' she schemed.

InuYasha saw the different looks on her face. It scared him how the last one looked like she could kill someone. `What's she planning?' Kagome looked up out of her weird face and saw InuYasha looking at hr weird. "What's wrong" she asked. "What in the hells were you planning woman?" "Oh that, I was thinking, since you're got to become human tonight…" "Yes?" "Do you want to come to my world? It's much safer over there and it'd give sometime to Sango-chan and Miroku-sama." She asked giving her biggest, cutes, puppy dog eyes so he wouldn't even think of saying no. "Well, I don't know" he answered not being able to resists her eyes. "What would we do there?" "I could show you things from my time. You've never really been any place, except my house and school. It would be fun, I promise." `If I go, maybe I could finally show some of my feelings towards her" he thought. `And I've always wondered what Kagome does over there, besides school.' "Alright, but no curry or any spicy foods" She smiled. "Deal" she almost screamed. "Let's go tell Sango-chan and Miroku-sama, if he hasn't been killed by now, that you'll come with me." As soon as she finished her sentence she grab InuYasha's hand and pulled him to the river.

Take 1

Miroku about to pull InuYasha in his Wind tunnel, but Kagome jumps in to save him.

Miroku: Give up! Once you're pulled in, you'll never come out alive.

InuYasha: Shut-up! I'll slice that tunnel of you-arm and all.

Miroku: It's no use. You'll be sucked in, blade and all…eh?! *see Kagome flying towards him*

*shuts wind tunnel*

Kagome: AWWWWWW! HELP! *smashes into a tree, knocked unconscious*

Miroku: Oops! A little off course. ^_^*

Director: Can someone go help her? *massages head* I'm working with idiots.

Take 2

Miroku: It's no use. You'll be sucked in, blade and all…eh?! *see Kagome flying towards him*

*shuts wind tunnel* (at least tries)

Miroku: It's suck I can't close it!

Kagome: Oh god! HELP ME! *is about to be sucked in, but Miroku closes it laughing*

Miroku: Oh, Kagome-sama! *Laugh* You should have seen your face! *InuYasha is now laughing too*

*now have two unconscious men*

Director: What does it take to get good help around here?! *takes aspirin*

Take 3

Miroku: It's no use. You'll be sucked in blade and all…eh?! *Kagome's not there*

Where'd Kagome-sama go?

Director: Where the hell is Kagome! MIROKU! You baka! Shut your wind tunnel off before it's too…*InuYasha gets sucked up* late. 0_0

*Can still hear the screams of InuYasha.*

Miroku: Oops! ^_^* Good thing that wasn't the REAL InuYasha. Heh heh.

Director: That WAS the real InuYasha.

Miroku: 0_0 Oh, that wasn't a stunt double? I think I have to go…call me next Friday, okay. *Runs away*

Director: *crawls in fetal position and starts to cry*

Out in Hawaii…

Kagome: *surrounded by hot muscle men* I'm so glad I quit. I wonder how there doing without me?

I hope you like the outtakes! ^_^ I know that wasn't very good, but I'll think of better ones. I just thought of this one off the top of my head. If you have a good one send it to me and I'll post it, and give you credit.
