Disclaimer: I do not own InuYasha, yet he still in the corner of my room. Kagome came in and “sat” him. I don't know why but when I looked up she didn't have the most pleasant look in her eye. ::sweatdrop::

“Mama?”

 

Kagome heard a little voice. `That scent I know that scent, why do I know that scent? Wait, mama… my son.' Kagome thought.

 

“Wake up mama” she heard the kistune wail.

 

Moaning she lifted her head, her vision was blurry but started to focus when it did she saw the little kitsune's tail next to her cheek. “Shhhh, its okay,” she cooed to her weeping pup. Looking up, she saw three figures slightly out of focus. To be exact it was two humans, one male and one female, and a hanyou. She grab Shippo and leapt back.

 

“Kagome,” asked the female human in a shaky voice “Kagome-sama”

 

The female took a step closer. She smelled familiar too. Sango, it was Sango, her friend.

 

“Kagome-sama?” it was the male speaking to her this time. She sniffed, Miroku, that was Miroku.

 

`Well, that leaves the hanyou,' she thought.

 

Inuyasha looked at her. `she's beautiful,' he thought. `well she was beautiful before,' a small voice in the back of his head said, `well yeah but now she looks like… like a goddess.'

 

He took a step forward. Kagome growled, he stopped. `Growling, why the fuck is she growling at ME? Doesn't she know who I AM?' thought Inuyasha.

 

Kagome placed her surrogate son in Sango's hand, trusting her over Miroku.

 

Kagome walked to Inuyasha, swinging her,

 

`WHOA, wait a minute she has a…a…a……… TAIL?!' he thought.

 

Sure enough there is was swinging for side to side like her hips. The movement of her tail and hips sent Inuyasha into a little trance till she reached up and started to sniff at him.

 

`Hmmmm,' she thought, `he smells familiar and really good. Is he my mate? No, can't be I'm not mated… my intended?'

 

She closed her eyes and breathed in his scent. He smelt like trees, spring water, and earth.

 

“Inuyasha?” she breathed, `It's Inuyasha.'

“Inuyasha” she gasped as she threw her arms around his neck. “It's you,”

 

“Yeah it's me” he said as he pulled her into a tight embrace, kissing her on the cheek before burying his face into her neck.

 

He than realized that he had an audience. Sango, Miroku, Shippo, and Kirara were all staring at him and his little display of affection.

 

He released her and step back.

 

“I mean, of course it's me who else would it be, bitch?” he scoffed at her. `Oh smooth really smooth Romeo' said the little voice. `Oi, fuck you!' he responded.

 

Kagome huffed. “Baka! SIT BOY!”

 

“Wha...ahhh,”

 

Inuyasha was now laying face down in the dirt, in an all to familiar position. Kagome smiling to herself proudly, whipped around to look at her friends. And look at her friends, look at everything. All of it is so clear, vivid and `Whoa, this is new,' thought Kagome.

 

Inuyasha grumbled, Kagome turn her head back. Her hearing was so clear and everything seemed to be louder. `This too,' she thought.

 

“OKSAAN,” Shippo yelled as he bounding into her arms.

 

But instead of catching him, she lifted her hands to her ear. `So loud, why was everything so fucking loud?'

 

Shippo attached himself to her waist.

 

“I was so worried, I thought you died and so did Sango and Miroku. And you were all limp and your heartbeat kept getting worse and and ,” the kistune wailed.

 

“Shippo, Shippo, please not so loud,” Kagome said with her hands still over her ears.

 

“Oh sorry mama, I was just so worried and I didn't want you to die.”

 

“Shhh, its okay,” she whispered at she gently stroked the top of his head, “I'm all better know, see”

 

He nodded, she was defiantly better and defiantly different but she was still Kagome, his mama.

 

Inuyasha got up and walked over to stand next to Miroku, who was still staring at Kagome. `Hentai' thought Inuyasha and Sango. Inuyasha hit him over the head and then shoved his hands into his sleeves.

 

Recovering Miroku said, more to Inuyasha, “Kagome-sama looks delightful, don't you think?”

 

“Keh,” he said. This time it was Sango who hit him over the head with her Hiraikotsu.

 

“Pervert,” she said.

 

“Why, Sango, I don't see why you opinion of me is so low. I was only commenting on our friend very new and very pleasant appearance.”

 

Sango sighed and hit him over the head again. “He'll never learn,” she stated to Inuyasha, who nodded his head in agreement. But he was right Kagome looked beautiful. He couldn't help but stare at her.

 

`Hey, bad thoughts baaad thoughts don't think about that right now. Come on analyze the situation. She's different' `and very very attractive' `yeah, I mean shut up, okay she's a hanyou… is that good or bad, what, hold on, back up, she's a HANYOU”

 

Miroku groaned as he stood up, ripping Inuyasha away from his thoughts. He turned back to look at Kagome, who was now walking toward them, her hips and tail still swinging Inuyasha noticed, with Shippo nestled in her arms. Inuyasha suddenly felt a stab of jealously. He was just about to say something when Sango got there first.

 

“Kagome, you look like a hanyou,” she said gawking at her friend.

 

“I know,” she responded.

 

“Well, you seem quite calm about all of the changes.” stated Miroku in a matter-of-fact tone.

 

“That's because I chose these,” Kagome said.

 

“YOU WHAT?!” the group yelled in unison.

 

“IYAAA, not so loud not so loud,” she winced.

 

The group stared at her in silence until Miroku cleared his throat.

 

“May I suggest we set up camp and then Kagome-sama can tell us about all of this.”

 

Inuyasha closed his mouth and was about to yell at her when he heard Miroku's suggestion and nodded. Thinking he would yell at her after she explained herself.

 

Everyone walked into the woods looking for a good place to set up camp.
