Sesshou woke Rin gently when they arrived at his apartment. He helped her step out of the cab and paid the driver with most of the tips he had made that day. Sesshou assisted Rin up the stairs of his building until he had reached his apartment.

"I'm going to forewarn you, Rin, my apartment isn't, well, I don't have a lot of funds," Sesshou said.

"It doesn't matter, Sesshou," Rin reassured him with a smile. He opened the door and allowed her to get a good look at the room before helping her in. Rin walked ahead of him and looked around. She plopped down on the pad that served as a his couch motioning for him to join her.

"I think it's great," Rin commented. Sesshou kneeled down next to her and fingered Rin's drenched clothes.

"Whatever you say, Rin," Sesshou shook his head with a grin. "But you might get sick if you stay in those soaking clothes. I'll see if I can't round up some of my dry clothes for you to wear."

Sesshou stood up and walked into the bedroom while Rin waited patiently on the cushion. He looked through all his clothes in the closest, but everything looked much too big for Rin. After he changed out of his soaked apparel and into a pair of blue jeans with a maroon sweater, he walked back out into the living room with an arm full of garments. He dropped them down in front of Rin who picked at them curiously.

"I'm not sure if any of this will even fit you a little so I decided to just bring out a bunch of clothes and let you see what fits best," Sesshou explained. Rin grabbed a chunk of the garments and beamed at Sesshou.

"Great! Thanks, Sesshou," she said enthusiastically. Sesshou nodded with a small smile while watching her. Rin just looked at him with one brow up while he kneeled in front of her.

"What?" Sesshou asked when Rin didn't move, and she simply coughed a little 'ahem'. "Oh! Sorry."

Sesshou smiled apologetically as he walked a few paces back and faced the opposite wall while Rin changed. She hummed happily while Sesshou waited for her to finish changing.

"Does this work?" Rin called out signaling that it was okay for Sesshou to look. He turned his face and yipped. Rin stood there wearing a large navy sweatshirt with indigo dress pants. The problem was that the navy sweatshirt was so big on her, that the collar slipped down one side of her arm revealing her shoulder and much too much of her chest. He whipped his head back around and covered his eyes with his hand.

"Umm…Rin…," Sesshou gulped. "That…sweatshirt might be a little…too big on you."

Rin hummed inquisitively and looked down at the shirt. She yelped and grabbed the collar pulling it all the way to her neck. Her entire face was hot pink with humiliation at her mistake.

"Thanks for pointing that out," Rin couldn't help but suppress a slight smirk while digging through the pile of clothes. She called out again to Sesshou after a minute of searching. Sesshou was much more careful when he turned back this time. Yet he calmed when he saw the new apparel Rin had changed into. She was wearing a white and dark purple long sleeve shirt that tastefully slipped down both shoulders, and dark blue jeans that were only a little baggy on her.

"Perfect," Sesshou said. Rin's face gleamed at his approval. Sesshou tossed the extra clothes back in his closet and rummaged through the small fridge in the tiny kitchen that connected with the living; no wall in between.

"Want anything?" Sesshou pulled out a couple cartons of ramen noodles. "All I have to eat is ramen."

"I love ramen," Rin told him. Sesshou filled the two cartons with water and popped them into the microwave. Within minutes, they had finished.

"Great thing about ramen," Sesshou said as he handed a carton and chopsticks to Rin. "They're cheap, taste good, and quick to make."

Rin hummed in agreement as she wolfed down a stream of noodles. Sesshou flipped on the television while nibbling on his own carton of noodles. Rin laid on her side with her head leaning against Sesshou's knee. He didn't mind at all though. They watched the late afternoon movie while the sun sank below the horizon.

The mildly entertaining program ended with Rin snuggled in Sesshou's arms. As the credits rolled across the screen, Sesshou looked down at the lovely creature curled up in his embrace. Rin looked up to Sesshou with a small smile on her face.

"You know," Sesshou started. "We really do have some things to talk about."

Rin sighed and nuzzled her head a further into his chest. Sesshou hand began to massage her back softly and she lulled into a relaxed state.

"You're right," she exhaled. Her eyelids drooped and she smiled tranquilly.

"Like the fact that, federally, I've just kidnapped you," Sesshou remarked with a smirk. Rin giggled softly, a sound like water trickling through the pebbles of a stream.

"Sesshou," Rin said quietly. "I never want to go back to any of those foster homes. I want to stay with you. I feel so at home when I'm with you."

"I know, Rin. I feel the same way, but-" Sesshou began, but was stopped when Rin placed a small finger across his lips.

"Forget Janice or George," Rin spat out their names. "Home is where the heart is, Sesshou. And my heart's with you."

"Rin," Sesshou whispered softly. "What…are you implying?"

"I've felt this for quite some time, Sesshou," Rin said wistfully. "I think I have ever since I met you. Sesshou, I think I-"

"I love you, too, Rin," Sesshou interrupted. Rin looked up at his face and saw his lovely smile. She did the same with her eyes sparkling. Sesshou placed his finger under her chin and gazed into her gorgeous hazel eyes. She elevated her head so that she was closer to him. Sesshou leaned down closer and closer until their lips brushed gently against one another's. They tightened the grip their arms had around each other so that they were locked in a deep affectionate kiss. They each moaned momentarily while their lips massaged the other. Sesshou's tongue darted into her mouth and for a few moments their tongues were stroking each other passionately.
