"The pleasure is all ours, Mr. Kenko," he said. Mrs. Takamura clapped her hands together and invited both of them in. Sesshou/Naritsu was amazed by all the dry flower arrangements in the kitschy home. Rin still clung to his arm while Mrs. Takamura led them into her living. The couple seated themselves on the floral couches, Mr. Takamura sat on a nearby leather armchair, and Mrs. Takamura scuttled to the kitchen to pick up whatever she had prepared.

They all sat their in uncomfortable silence for a minute. The only sounds were Mr. Takamura's lips puffing against the pipe and the monotonous ticks of the grandfather clock on the far side of the room. Finally, Mrs. Takamura broke the silence when she scurried back in carrying a tray of tea and small pastries. She set down the tray on the coffee table in between the chairs and handed everyone a cup. She poured them all some fresh tea then sat herself down.

"So, Naritsu, how did you find our Rin?" Janice asked with a sip of her tea.

"Well, I found this lovely young lady stumbling through the streets in a daze. I took her to my house and nursed her back to health," Sesshou/Naritsu said his previously rehearsed explanation. "Then when she came into full consciousness, I found out she had been having a memory lapse, which is why she couldn't tell me her name or anything."

"Oh, my poor baby," Janice leaned over and patted Rin's arm.

"We truly owe you a lot for taking such great care of our Rin," George smiled. "There's no one I'd rather allow to look after her."

"Thank you for the sentiment, Mr. Takamura," Sesshou/Naritsu replied as he slowly sipped on his tea. Rin smiled and began to believe that everything would go smoothly.

"No need for thanks, Naritsu," Janice chimed in. "It's a pleasure to have you here."

Sesshou/Naritsu smiled as well as Rin. The conversation went on simply enough and it truly seemed like Rin would soon be free.

"It's so nice of you to help me with the dishes, Naritsu dear," Janice commented. Sesshou/Naritsu put down the dish he was drying and picked up another one. Rin was nearby putting the dried dishes away.

"It's no trouble at all, Mrs. Takamura," Sesshou/Naritsu mused. He gave an encouraging look to Rin, who giggled and winked back. He was just about to reach for a wet sponge that he dropped when a plate Janice was passing slipped out of her hand.

"Oh, my!" she called out when the plate fell into the soapy water on Sesshou/Naritsu's side of the sink. A small wave of water spilled over the edge of the sink onto Sesshou/Naritsu's back. Sesshou/Naritsu yelped in surprise, but didn't become angry. He knew he had to remain calm if the Takamura's were going to allow Rin to go with him.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. Allow me to get you a towel," Janice turned around and opened a drawer full of kitchen towels. Sesshou/Naritsu stood, flicking some suds off of his arms.

"No, really it's alright. These things happen. Let me help you clean-huh?" Sesshou/Naritsu was cut off when Rin slammed a slightly moist towel over his head and pulled him down to her level. He stared at her in surprise and shock.

"What the hell was that for?" he inquired with frustration.

"The water…your make-up," Rin whispered with concerned eyes. Sesshou/Naritsu suddenly understood and his eyes stretched. He peeked at a strand of hair that had fallen in front of face. The sudsy water had washed out most of the brown dye Wufei had put in. He looked behind Rin at the steel fridge and gasped. The powder on his face was almost gone so that there were patches of his pale skin showing through. Also he could feel the colored eye contacts slipping away from his irises.

"Oh shit," he cursed. Rin bit her lip and shifted her weight anxiously.

"What are we going to do?" she whispered loudly.

"What are you two doing over there?" Mrs. Takamura inquired. Sesshou went rigid at her words. "Rin, honey, that towel was dirty. Here, use this one."

"Wait, no!" Rin tried to stop Mrs. Takamura from grabbing the towel off of Sesshou's head, but wasn't quite fast enough.

"Rin dear, what are you-good gracious!" Janice yelped when she removed the towel from Sesshou's head. She slapped her hands over her mouth and backed away slowly, staring intently at the white hair. It didn't help when Sesshou decided to turn around. Janice cried out when she saw Sesshou's unforgettable features. And the make-up was almost gone completely. Janice staggered back and kept her balance by grabbing onto the frame of the kitchen entrance.

"It's…it's you! The one who kidnapped our Rin!" Janice pointed out in terror.
