Chapter five. Revenge
"What do we do now?.....I feel sorry for Kagome-chan........." Sango whispered to Miroku.
"I know.....but what can we do..?.........all I know is, we better keep an eye out for Kagome-chan.....she might...." Miroku didn't finish.
Sango got up and took a peek outside to see Kagome, kneeling in front of the god tree, looking up. Sango stuck her head back in and sighed, "Everything has gone so wrong...I could only wish for her safety..."

Kagome stood there staring at the tree, she slowly bent down kneeling, and cried, "Inu Yasha........why did you have to....leave me...........I would have....given my life for you............I must........repay you........" Kagome whispered, her hand roamed to a sharp rock, and she got up. With the rock in her hand, she jammed it into the god tree and started scratching it violently. When she finished, she dropped the stone and rushed off, Kagome grabbed her bow and arrows and headed for Inu Yasha's forest. Shippou, who was fetching water for her caught site of Kagome and cried her name.
"Kagome!! Kagome-chan!!" he cried over and over, he finally decided to drop the bucket of water and run to her, "Kagome-chan! where are you going?! you can't leave us now!" he jumped on her shoulder.
"....I.....have to give something back....to someone......." she mumbled.
"but you can't leave! I need you!" He wailed.
"I must..."
"Fine! Then I'm going with you! and you can't stop me!" her gripped onto her uniform.
"Shippou-chan, your going with me at your own risk......Where I go is not convinent from here..." Kagome replied.
Shippou nodded, "I don't care! as long as your close to me..." he hugged her.
Kagome nodded in acceptance.
A few days have past, Kagome and Shippou kept moving on, deeper and deeper into the forest they went, leading to nowhere. Sango and Miroku where cluless as to where to two went, Sango predicted that she went back home, and Shippou went along....but that would be impossible.
Sango thought it could be possible, but one day, she went to go visit the god tree where Inu Yasha was buried. But suddenly she stepped on a sharp rock, luckily, she wore sandals, it made her curious as she picked up the sharp object, then it made her look up at the tree.

she paused, "Miroku-chan!!! come quick!!!" she yelled.
Miroku ran out of the hut, "What?! what is it Sango-chan!?"
"Look!!!" she pointed to the god tree, it said:
Here lies my love.....my life.....the very essense of my soul..........I cannot rest without him.....his life was not meant to be taken.....but I swear.....I will avenge his death.......and we both shall rest in peace...
Both of them were taken aback, "What was she thinking?! We have to go Sango! We have to find her! she might hurt herself her even kill!"

Naraku sat by window looking look napping, but then something alerted him to looked up.
It was Kikyo.
She calmly walked to him and sat down, "Kikyo.....what brings you here...?....."
"Naraku, tell me.....what do you intend to do after you become a full youkai..?.."
"Why must you need to know..." she put her hand on his, Naraku was surprised that she touched him, "Does this concern Inu Yasha..."
"Inu Yasha.........he's dead...." Kikyo solemnly said.
Naraku's eyes widened a bit, "....You speak the truth.......Who murdered him...?...."
"I did..."
"..But I thought you wanted to burn in hell with the hanyou.."
"No, he betrayed me with my reincarnation, he chose her..instead of me."
"Thus, you took his life correct?" Naraku smiled.
"Yes..."
"Kikyo, Kikyo....what do you plan on doing now?.........will you leave this world.........now that Inu Yasha has gone..."
"I don't care"
"Nani?"
"I, do not care...He was foolish...I was foolish....foolish enough to even care.." Kikyo stared back into his cold red eyes, ", if you desire the rest of the jewel, Kagome has it...she is vulnerable, now that Inu Yasha is not here to protect her...."
"Kikyo, Why are you so desperate for my sucess?"
"I am not, I was never desperate."
Naraku leaned cloder to her face, "Truthfully, you are still in pain are you not?"
"No! I am not."
"You do not have to realize the truth....as long as I know..." He leaned more foreword, then kissed her, she pushed him away.
"What do you think your doing!"
"Don't worry, you'll never be lonely again..." He grabbed her arm and kissed her again. She fell backwards and he laid his body on top of hers.

There was non-stop traveling, it grew darker the deeper she went. There was no clue to when the sun had set, or risen.
"Kagome-chan? W-where are we..?" Shippou asked shivering on her shoulder.
"I don't know...but I must find someone, someone very close to me....someone, just like me...." she responded.
"Ummm......who is it.?"
"Don't be so nosey Shippou...rest......your going to need it..." Shippou sunk back into her backpack and soon fell asleep. Kagome finally reached a foggy forest, it was so thick, but she kept walking ahead. The more she walked the thinner the fog grew, then she caught site of a big castle. Suddenly there was a flash out white, Kagome jumped back falling on her butt which caused Shippou rolling out of her bag. Kagome calmly got up, and dusted herself off, then looked up at the intruder.
"What are you doing here wench?" Sesshomaru demanded.
"....That's none of your concern..." she responded, then bent down to pick up her weapons and the frightened and speechless Shippou.
"You are trespassing in my forest...it is my concern..."
"I appologize, Shippou-chan and I will be leaving now...." she walked past him, until he spoke.
"What are you looking for....?........Inu Yasha..?........."
Kagome paused, "..........no..............."
"Are you certain...I can smell his scent all over you, and inside you.....he claimed you already.......correct...?" He took the silence as an answer, "I am growing more curious by the moment...,my little brother rarely leaves you alone..."
Kagome slowly turned to face Sesshomaru, he parted his lips in suprise when he saw a single tear drop from her face, "...he...'s..........."
Sesshomaru closed his mouth again, *dead?.....I detected the scent of his blood but I assumed he was injured from a battle.....but him dead..?.....how could this be.....* Kagome was holding back, he could tell, "Who...?..."
"Nani...?" Kagome whispered as another tear dropped.
"...Who killed him...?...."
"It....was.........k..Ki...yo......" she forced the name out.
"The miko..." Sesshomaru mumbled, soon after Kagome broke and started crying endlessly, she collapsed onto his tail and sobbed.
Sesshomaru rose his hand and put it gentally on her back, trying to calm her down, he heard her mumble, "Please.....don't leave........please..........don't leave me....Sesshomaru........your the closest thing I'll ever have to him........."
What's this he felt? Pity, for her...it made him sad and angry at the same time.
Kagome had the deepest depression dragging Sesshomaru along, deep down, into the darkness of all emotions...

"Get off me hanyou!" Kikyo struggled uselessly underneath him, but to no avail. Naraku pushed her arms above her head and pinned them there so she couldn't use her miko energy on him. Using his free hand he began to rip her miko robes open savagely, not caring if he hurt her in the process. Naraku succeeded in opening her shirt and violently grabbed one of her breasts and squeezed causing Kikyo to wince in pain.
"That's right Kikyo, I want to hear you scream in pain just liike the day I slayed you..."
"Go to hell Naraku!"
Naraku just smirked down at her evilly. Naraku slid his hand down her stomach to the waist of her pants and pulled them down, revealing her
womanhood to him. Naraku slipped his finger down to rub her clit, pressing down hard on it to in crease the sensitivity, causing Kikyo to involuntarily let out a moan.
"You don't have to store the pain inside you...let it out..." Naraku carefully unbuttoned his shirt and slid his pants down releasing his hard member, "I told you, you'll never have to be lonely again..." Naraku came to his peak, pumping into her one last time as her walls closed tightly around his member, and released his burning seed within her depths.
"You are mine now Kikyo.....never forget that......with Inu Yasha finally gone...I can finally have you for myself." Naraku kissed her once more and stood up, redressing himself before leaving her to her in the room alone.
