Chapter Seven. "The Beginning of a War"
Far far away...Sesshomaru has been taken to an area unknown to him.
*Bitch.....I should end it right here, right now.....our deal is over, she can go to hell, and I can get what I want.* Kasuga thought, "Okay." both Kagura and Sesshomaru yeilded and turned to her, "We stop here...the deals over Kagura"
"Here? Now? ... alright whatever, have it your way.." she crossed her arms.
"Hmph." Kasuga grabbed a hold of his arm, "Come on Sesshomaru....let's go."
"What?" Kagura quickly snatched his other arm, "who said he wanted to go anywhere with YOU?"
"Who said he wanted to be touched by YOU?"
"Back off bitch, you already did what you needed to do, he's mine now."
"Oh HELL naw....no you didn't.." Kasuga pulled him towards her way, Kagura bickered and pulled him back, it was a demon tug-o-war.
Sesshomaru grew impatient, "Stop! ...I will not tolerate such immaturity..." he tore his arms away from their grip, "Is this the place you wished for me to be at?"
"Yeah..." Kasuga plainly responded.
"Very well then, I shall take my leave."
"What?! matte!! you can't! I thought we had a deal!!" Kagura shouted after him.
"Hai, we had. You simply said for me to follow you, and I have already fullfilled that request." he replied with a smirk.
"Y-you can't do that!! that's cheating!" Kasuga appeared in front of him.
"Oh?...how so..?"
"Oh you....tricky little..." Kagura said
"Tricky little...?" he repeated.
Kagura appeared right next to her sister, "You're not going anywhere..."
"Is that so...?" Sesshomaru frowned, "...move." he ordered.
"No." Kasuga glared at him.
"I don't want to waste time...so you'd rather risk your life then move out of my way?" all he recieved was two evil grins, "Fine by me." his eyes glowed red with purple pupils, "We will see how little I can be..."
Kagura and Kasuga stood hesitant as they witnessed a transformation.

"Shippou-chan....please don't die....please...wait for me...just don't go...not yet, wait a little longer." Kagome cradled the kitsune in her arms crying her eyes out. She was hurt too many times, once more and she'll rip away from sanity. Kagome looked up slowly, her eyes caught sight of a sharp hair acessecory, she stared at it for quite a while.
"Don't even think about it."
Kagome turned her head stunned, Sesshomaru was in the room walking towards her, "Sesshomaru...."
He kneeled down and observed Shippou, "You noticed he is getting worse..." Kagome nodded her head slowly, Sesshomaru groaned and took off his shoulder armor. Kagome looked back at him again, he usual doesn't groan when he takes armor off, at least it didn't seem that he would.
"*gasp!*...Sesshomaru, your hurt." Kagome laid Shippou on the soft sheets and tried to help Sesshomaru with his equipment., "Wh-what..." she couldn't find the words to ask.
"It was a mere battle, that's all." he explained.
Kagome stopped, then stared at him more seriously, "...tell me now."
Sesshomaru knew that Kagome wouldn't give up easily when it came to knowing the truth, he sighed, "...Kagome-chan, as you can presume, I had my aquaintence with Kasuga and Kagura...they were not up to my level of experience, after I had the short fight, I noticed that Naraku's castle was near." Sesshomaru took off his Kimono top, and gently placed it aside, "Kasuga and Kagura were placed inside without my full attention, Naraku revealed himself with his imfamous white baboon mask on. I said nothing to him and just struck, he had no skill, nothing but puppets, they took my Tenseiga and withdrew inside, but when I had realized that, I was already lured out of the castle's territory, and there was a barrier, much similar to yours, protecting it."
"..Kikyo." Kagome mumbled.
"My thought exactly...." Sesshomaru rested breathing in and out clamly, "Kagome-chan....I will have to settle this....without you."
"No. Sesshomaru....why are you hiding all this from me? ...I know what's wrong already!....why won't you let me help...?" she pleaded with her eyes.
"I thought I made myself clear...." Sesshomaru grew more stren, which Kagome thought was unexpected at a time like this, "you are not coming....your only getting yourself into more danger."
"You think I don't know that?!!........Listen..." Kagome stared directly into his eyes, " I would risk everything, just to see her dead....you don't understand what this means to me Sesshomaru....you don't understand how much sorrow I'm going through.....all that won't rest until..."
He stared back for a good long while as she refused to look at him any longer, "I cannot..." Kagome's heart was thumping out of her chest, she stared at him in disbelief, "Gomen nasai Kagome-chan....you are to stay here no matter what."
"You must take me with you!" she cried desperately, "...I will hate you for this....."
"I can understand.....but for your own saf-"
"I don't give a fuck!" more tears leaked from her eyes. Sesshomaru was stunned, for a while there, she sounded a little like Inu Yasha. Sesshomaru felt a little hesitant, his conscience interuppted, feeling pity for Inu Yasha encourged his decision.
"...Alright Kagome....there's nothing I can say to stop you...." He said, then left.
Kagome nodded hearing his footstep grow fainter. She looked back at Shippou and began stroking him again, "Shippou-chan...don't worry..I'll be with you shortly....just a little longer..." Kagome pecked him on the forehead.
