He was very tired, after being awake the whole night and traveling for almost 6 hours Inuyasha was feeling more exhausted than ever. He walked out the airport, he was only going to be there for a day and he didn't need any suitcase, he was going to use the same clothes. The feeling of tiredness was replaced by a huge feel of loneliness; the only thing that came to his mind to help him get rid of that feeling was Kagome. `I'm so fucking confused… I feel like I love her but… I can't, she's out of my reach… she has her whole future in front of her and I'm not gonna let me ruin it… besides, she must be in love with Kouga and what would he do if he finds out I'm going out with her? He will fire me and hire someone to kill me' he thought with melancholy and sighed heavily. Right in front of him, a girl with a very short and revealing black dress walked in front of him. Like any other man who saw her, Inuyasha kept his eyes on her chest and she looked over her shoulder at him. She gave him a smirk when she realized that he was the man who was waiting for her.

 

“Inuyasha…” she said huskily.

 

“I guess you must be the so wonderful Yura…” he looked up and down her body and stared at her torso for a few seconds. “I think I know why they call you wonderful”

 

“Thanks, but these are fake” she said as she grabbed one of her breasts. “They call me wonderful because I can do miracles… in this case; I'm helping your sloppy boss to get rid of his enemies… I found the man who can help you”

 

“Don't include me because I'm in this shit for some stupid reasons, now where is he and where can I find him?” he asked hurriedly.

 

“I don't know… he is always running around, he is a very intelligent man… and so very sexy” she sighed dreamily and he rolled his eyes. “Did you know that he stole many millions of dollars by using only his computer? He is incredible… who would have thought he did that when he was 16?”

 

“16? Am I searching for a brat?” she shook her head and flashed her short hair to the back.

 

“He's 18 now, I don't know where he lives but the few things I know about him is that he used to live with his parents till they knew what he was doing… he ran away before they gave him to the police and kept on with his studies, he pretends he's not good at some subjects but he is the best… he is always trying not to draw attention, I know he is in senior year at a private school but I have no idea in which”

 

They walked out the building; the city was big enough for them to walk alone in a corner of the sidewalk. Inuyasha pulled out a cigarette and lighted it up as he rested his body against a wall. Yura looked at him as he smoked and when she couldn't handle anymore, she took the cigarette away from him and she started smoking. He looked at her annoyed and placed his hands on his jean pockets.

 

“What's his name?” he asked and she stood up to his direction, threw the smoke she had on her mouth over to him and placed the cigarette back in her mouth.

 

“Miroku Houshi… now, I have no idea where he is but I'm sure that you can find him… Naraku told me how good you are in finding people, especially how you found your godfather's daughter” he sighed annoyed.

 

“I found no one… the things that the bastard of Naraku told you aren't true… I haven't find his daughter and if I ever find her I'm never gonna let Naraku near her because he is only going to destroy her” she smirked.

 

“You have a golden heart… but your destiny is everything that goes around evil so forget about being kind” she walked away. “Oh, yeah… Naraku asked me to take you to my layer and help me pack… so let's go”

 

He sighed heavily and placed a cigarette on his mouth, he mumbled some curses to his boss before walking behind her.

It was Sunday morning and it was raining, Kagome watched the rain drops fall on her window. She didn't know if the sun was coming out that day but whenever it rained, she felt gloomy. Kagome knew she wasn't going out the house; it was all her fault for waking up so late and not going with her mother, brother and grandfather to her aunt's house. She was still on her pajamas and she wasn't feeling like doing her homework, she didn't feel like doing her homework during the whole week. She had been doing all of her homework in the recess and her teachers notices that she wasn't being the bright student she always used to be. `How can I concentrate when I'm always thinking about Inuyasha… or Sango and her boyfriend… or Kouga… I don't know if Kouga and I should be together, if he is doing it because Sango asks him to… I really don't but what will Inuyasha say? Wouldn't he mind?' she shook her head as she tried to move away that thought, of course he wouldn't mind. He wasn't interested in her at all; they were friends and nothing more or that was what she thought. `No, he wouldn't…after all we are only friends, that is what he told me… he said he would be there to keep me from getting hurt' she didn't realize when it stopped raining but she just realized that it was becoming clear. She changed her clothes and went out, for today she thought it would be okay to leave her stepfather's necklace behind and she placed it in her jewelry box. She was desperate to get to the library and rent another book. Anything related to horror was enough for her to get any other thought out of her mind.

 

“At least it will let me think about something else…” she said to herself as she walked out the house towards to the bus stop.

 

She noticed someone familiar in the bus stop, although she didn't know where she had seen him before. Kagome tried to look at him with the corner of her eye but quickly moved her sight away from him when he realized she was watching him. He half smiled and walked over to her, sitting by her side.

 

“Hi, I'm Bankotsu” the man said and stretched his hand to her; she smiled and shook it lightly as she kept her eyes on the man.

 

“I'm Kagome, nice to meet you” she said. “Have we seen before? I have this weird sensation of meeting you before”

 

“I know where I saw you, at a mechanic shop… you were talking to Inuyasha, I could never forget someone so beautiful like you” she blushed lightly and gave him one of her smiles. “Where are you going?”

 

“To the library, I'm searching for some light reading to get distracted… I'm being very off focus lately and I thought that maybe if I concentrated in something else I could go back to the girl I once was” she said it as she looked down to her shoes till her redness went away.

 

“You like to read?” he asked once she directed her gaze back to him, she nodded lightly.

 

“Yeah, it's fun and… I don't know, I have been doing it for a long time so once you start you can't stop, it's very entertaining”

 

“Well, maybe I could join you to the library… this city isn't as safe as it seems and I don't want you to get hurt” he grabbed her hand and she blushed lightly as he pulled her softly up the bench. “Let's go walking; the library isn't that far away”

He watched her as she walked down her street, he had been following her for a long time but she still didn't notice it. Naraku was too afraid to go to her door and talk to her because he started thinking about the risks, she could call the police and he would be in jail for the simple fact of trying to befriend her. He tried to follow her with his car without alarming her; he saw her sit at the bus stop and looked at her as she waited for the bus to come.

 

“Such a beauty…” he whispered as he looked at her waiting.

 

`I can't believe she grew up to be this beautiful, but of course I couldn't expect for less with the way her mother looked when she was younger, she looks a lot like her but… she really reminds me of…' his thoughts were interrupted when he saw Bankotsu chatting with her. `What is he doing with her?! How did he meet her?! This can't be happening! She is… she is with him!!!' he watched him grab her hand with a big jealousy invading his body. `I'm gonna kill that bastard! No one can take her away from me! Especially someone like him!!!' he pulled out his cell phone and dialed his dear sister cell number.

 

“What now brother?” she asked annoyed and he let out a big irritated sigh to let his anger go away.

 

“Remember what we talked about? I want you to get in her house and steal something that seems valuable, leave something that belongs to him” he said and she laughed.

 

“Send someone who wants to… you know that I don't do that anymore” she was about to hung up when she heard him talk again.

 

“I'm not asking you if you want, I'm ordering you… now do as I say and…”

 

“Just send Hakudoshi and leave me…”

 

“DO AS I SAY NOW!” he interrupted her by yelling hysterically and she let out a scared sigh.

 

“Alright, I'm on my way” he heard the dial tune and threw his cell phone to the back part of his car.

 

`I'm not letting someone ruin my chance to get her… I'm going to get rid of that bastard… once I get rid of Inuyasha' he thought as he started his engine and drove back to his office.

Kagome found a perfect book for her, she rented `The Dead Zone' by Stephen King, it was one of the few books she hadn't read before. Although she preferred romance novels, she thought that renting one like that will only lead her to think about Inuyasha. She knew that she was searching for more than a friendship with Inuyasha but he wouldn't let her. She let out a heavy sigh as she looked out the window, it was raining again. She came back to reality when Bankotsu grabbed her hand.

 

“You're always thinking about something” he mentioned as she turned her eyes to him.

 

“There's always something I need to think about, it's not really by choice… my mind is always in somewhere else” she smiled and a waitress gave her a cup of coffee, she thanked her and sipped some of it. “It's hot…”

 

“I know, perfect for today…” he said as he drank his beer. “Although, I enjoy better a beer” she smiled and moved her coffee lightly with her spoon. “About what?”

 

“I'm sorry?” she asked and he sipped again his beer before continuing.

 

“You were thinking… about what?” she shook her head.

 

“Nothing important really, stupid things about books and school” he looked at her amazed and arched his brow.

 

“You… are still in school?” she nodded as she blew her cup and drank some of her coffee. “What grade? Senior?”

 

“I wish… I'm a sophomore” he was about to spit the liquid that was in his mouth but he held it till her swallowed it.

 

“You look… so much bigger and… sexier!” she blushed a lot and looked to the window ashamed.

 

“Thanks… I don't know why I'm getting that kind of comments lately” she giggled a little and looked back at him although she was still feeling embarrassed.

 

Kagome finished the rest of her drink in silence, Bankotsu asked her a few questions but she only answered them by nodding or by shaking her head. She was in a hurry, her house was empty and she was very afraid someone broke in. Her neighborhood wasn't one of the best and there were always people getting robbed in there. `And without Inuyasha here… I wouldn't be able to have someone to protect me' she giggled to her inside but let a small smile slid her lips. `I'm thinking of Inuyasha as my private bodyguard and he is only my good friend that helps me… I wish he could always be with me…' she thought as she sighed.

 

“It's getting late, I should go back home” Kagome said as she stood up, as in a reflex, Bankotsu stood up too.

 

“I'll join you” she smiled.

 

“Thanks a lot” he pulled out a few dollars from his pocket and left them over the table after asking for the check.

“What's your name kiddo?”

 

“Inuyasha…”

 

“Why are you here alone?”

 

“Because I have no where else to go mister”

 

“You want to join me for a steak and mashed potatoes with my friend right here, his name is Naraku and we were about to enter to a restaurant… ever had steak Inuyasha?”

 

“No, but I'm sure it's delicious…”

 

“Then come on, let's go inside”

 

“Inuyasha?” Yura called as she shook him lightly.

 

He never dreamt before with his godfather before, not since his death but now that he thought he found his daughter, his memories came back to haunt him. He woke up a little scared when he saw Yura next to him. She gave him a kiss on the lips and enveloped her naked body in a blanket; he looked at the hour before getting up of Yura's bed. She had already made her suitcase and between alcohol and conversations, one thing lead to another and Inuyasha shared some intimacy with her. She came back to the bedroom smoking a cigarette and dressed with his T-shirt, Inuyasha was still laying on her bed.

 

“That was amazing… you left me very tired Inuyasha” she said as she cuddled next to him. “And apparently I had the same effect on you”

 

“Are you ready to leave?” he asked and she positioned herself on top of him and whispered huskily on his ear.

 

“Are you ready for the second round?” she asked and he pushed her gently off of him as he went to her bathroom.

 

“Naraku will kick my ass if we don't show there in time” she turned off her cigarette by pressing it against the wall and let the last of the smoke in her mouth out.

 

“Who cares? Don't you want to stay with me a little longer?” he came out of the bathroom in his boxers and shook his head.

 

“I'm ready to go home…” she walked over him and kissed him.

 

“I thought we could play some more before… I go back to my boyfriend” he arched his brow as he placed his hands around her hips.

 

“Let me guess… your so wonderful Miroku Houshi?” she shook her head.

 

“Hakudoshi, he comes to visit me every weekend…” she kissed his neck sweetly until she got to his ear and nibble lightly his earlobe, she then whispered. “But he doesn't know how to pleasure me as much as you do”

 

“I think… we can stay till tomorrow morning” he said as he felt her hand going down to his member.

 

“Alright… but Inuyasha, I'll appreciate if we erase these moments together to avoid Hakudoshi from killing me…” she said as she took of his underwear.

 

“Trust me bitch, you won't even be remembering your own name after I fuck you again” he said as he carried her back to her bed and started taking her again.

“Thanks for joining me to the library and inviting me that coffee” she said as she walked to her front door, everything seemed to be normal.

 

“No problem, I wish we can go out again sometime… would you like it?” she nodded and kissed his cheek.

 

“Yeah, that would be great… bye, and thanks again” he walked away and she looked at him till he disappeared from her sight.

 

Kagome looked for her house key in her pocket, but to her surprise when she was about to unlock the house, it was already opened. She checked her door knob and noticed that it looked like always but the lock was screwed up and it wasn't closing or opening. She was alarmed when she found out. She closed her door and walked around the house, everything was normal to her but when she went to her room, she found everything messed up. Finally she checked her jewelry box and her worst nightmare came true, her necklace was stolen. Kagome was horrified, who could have done something like that? She ran around her house checking every part of her house just in case she left it somewhere else. She cried in her living room once she confirmed that it was stolen. She went back to her bedroom to try to forget that by taking a nap, she looked at the floor and noticed a piece of a red T-shirt lying on her carpet. It was very small but it seemed to be ripped when whoever broke in went out of the room letting his or her T-shirt get stuck in her door and finally break.

 

“I swear… that whoever did this, is going to pay” she thought as she cleaned some tears that were about to fall from her puffy eyes. “I just hope Inuyasha can find that bastard”

 

Finally, with the thought of Inuyasha helping her, Kagome relaxed and took her nap peacefully.

 

 

 

A/N: I was checking my earlier chapters and I realized I made Sango look like a total bitch! I'm so going to fix that but in the next chapter… Sango is one of my fav characters; anyway… does my summary seem any better? I think not… I think it's time for me to admit that I suck at summaries hehe if anyone wants to help me, thanks I'll appreciate it. Review please!!! =)
