Chapter Nine - Favors

 

Sango POV

 

Now you see normally I can tell people anything. I would never hesitate. Never. I was the one who told Kagome that her beloved cousin Kikyo was dead. Simple. Now I'm staring at her in our room. This is the part where I - the so called Director tells her she is alive. But I'm I giving her false hope? What if she dies for real this time before we can take her back? Kagome would be crushed. It took her five months to grasp the fact that her only bloodline family - After all I consider myself family- was gone. I think I'm scaring her because she shaking a little. She thinks I have bad news. Nope let her sweat it out she did after all eat the last piece of my cherry cheesecake. If she didn't like blueberry she shouldn't have bought it! That does not give her the right to eat mine! Now Ayame just nudged me. Ayame must keep her mouth shut. She isn't allowed to say anything about Kikyo being alive. She is waiting Kagome's reaction. I would make her wait longer but now her nudges have become hurtful pinches. My only weakness.

 

Normal POV

 

“Kagome….Kikyo is alive.” Kagome's eyes go from confusion to happiness.

 

“Where is she?” Kagome jumped up and grabbed Sango's arm.

 

“Calm down, this is the bad news.” Kagome's face instantly dropped.

 

“What?” Kagome sat back down and looked from Ayame to Sango.

 

“She's been captured by Naraku.”

 

“And he has kept her alive? Isn't she supposed to eradicate herself?” Ayame nodded at her friend's questions.

 

“We asked that same question, and get this we have to bring her back ….alive. That goes against the regulations.”

 

“So I guess Kikyo is very valuable?” Kagome asked.

 

“I guess so.” Ayame shrugged.

 

“So have any plans?” Sango asked her group.

 

“I have one…..”

Inuyasha, Kouga, and Miroku were in jail. Well a holding cell. Why you ask? Simple. Inuyasha was driving more like speeding with a revoked license. To make matters worse Kouga and Miroku also had revoked licenses. All because they did illegal drag races, which consisted of passing through nine stop signs and fifteen traffic lights. Almost hitting three pedestrians and one cat. It was not their day. And they all had decided to call one person for the one phone call. Kagura. Who was by the way in her in home office ignoring her phone calls. Despite their high status in the demon world, to human cops they earned a place in the holding cell. A cop entered the room and then placed a young woman into the holding cell. Miroku looked at gorgeous woman. She was about five foot six, long legs, and jet black hair and green eyes. Even Kouga and Inuyasha had to admit she was striking.

 

“The women holding cell was full huh?” Miroku said causality while leaning against the wall.

 

“Yes shamefully so.” She nodded in a light voice. From across the room Kouga whispered to InuYasha.

 

“Surprised he hasn't groped her yet.” Inuyasha nodded

 

“I know he must be up to something.” Inuyasha stated.

 

“So what is your name?” the woman asked Miroku.

 

“I'm Miroku and you are?”

 

“Namiko.” They shook hands. The cop came into the cell.

 

“Mrs. Namiko your friend is here to bail you out.” The woman nodded at turned to Miroku.

 

“Would you like my number, Miroku?” Miroku raised an eyebrow and smiled none the less.

 

“I'm sorry but I have a girlfriend already.”

 

“Is she just a girlfriend.”

 

“Ah yes but you see I'm planning on marring her.” he winked.

 

“Oh… well it was nice meeting you anyway.” She smiled nodded at left. Kouga and Inuyasha rushed up to their friend.

 

“What the hell was that?!”

 

“You're planning on marring Sango?!” Miroku sighed.

 

“Look at her.” They did and could she nothing wrong as she walked away with a young man.

 

“Yea and…?” Inuyasha asked.

 

“She or rather he has an admen's apple.”

 

“Oh my- she does!” Kouga looked at Inuyasha.

 

“Ewwww!” both men yelled.

 

“My thoughts exactly.” Miroku said.

“Ayame we can not just bust in there and kill our way through!” Sango yelled shocked that she even would think such a half ass plan.

 

“Why not Kikyo and Yura did it once!” Ayame augured back.

 

“And where are they now?!” Sango yelled.

 

“Yura's dead and Kikyo in Naraku's restrictions.” Kagome said.

 

“Do you have a better plan?” Ayame asked.

 

“No….” Kagome sighed rubbing her temples. Sango threw her pen down and closed her eyes.

 

“Let's take a break I'm going in the shower.”

 

“I call second!” Kagome shouted.

 

“I'll be back Kag.” Ayame said.

 

“Sure take your time.” Kagome replied.

Ayame knocked on Kagura's office door.

 

“Come in.” Ayame entered the room.

 

“I want to ask you a favor.” Ayame said as she took a seat across her.

 

“Which is?”

 

“I need to go into Naraku's main building and steal back Kikyo…..”

 

“Codename: cobalt 702?” Kagura finished Ayame sentence.

 

“Yeah…”

 

“Naraku has a full file on her.” Kagura waved her hand.

 

“So can you help us?” Ayame asked.

 

“Sure. Actually Naraku is away on business. I can get you guy's passes to let you in the building and I'm sure you can take it from there.”

 

“We can take care of the rest.” Ayame said and stood to get up when Kagura stopped her.

 

“What's wrong?”

 

“The guys are in jail… you want to come with me to bail them out?” Ayame grinned.

 

“Oh yes….This is payback.”

 

“For what?” Kagura asked.

 

“Why for seeing me indecent of course.” Kagura and Ayame went to find Kagome and Sango who were lying on the sofa yet again.

 

“Hey guys want to go with me and Kagura to bail Inuyasha, Kouga, and Miroku out of jail?” Ayame said nonchalantly. Sango and Kagome exchanged looks and shrugged.

 

“I'm going to miss my soap opera's” Kagome said.

 

“Tamoi going to run away with Hanna and Shinomko dies after a bad heart transplant.” Ayame said.

 

“How would you know?” Sango asked.

 

“I'm physic.”

 

“Good enough.” Kagome smiled.

 

“I'm driving!” Kagura shouted before everyone left to Tokyo's jail house.

 

 

 

AN: Yup short and once again late. But I now know where I want this story to go so everything should be fine now and expect more Inu and Kag in chapter eleven. Which I can't wait to write. Thanks for the reviews guys!!!
