Chapter Nineteen - Consequences

Sango Point of View

The room cracks with tension as Sesshomaru walks in. This is the moment on which I based my last milestone on, Naraku's death. Although now this isn't my last milestone but only the first after all now I have Miroku to live for.

Naraku is out numbered…

Till his army of demons flood the floor. We all begin to fight but me and Sesshomaru press forward. Our main goal is Naraku, speaking of which, he walks into another room. We follow him into a room is much larger then the pervious one it's a dark room with a single chair.

“Kukukuku…You should know better two enter a dark room with only me in it.” I spin around right before Naraku kicks my back which is my weak point. I land on the floor then jump back up. Trading blows for blows. A youkai comes and attacks Sesshomaru. I grab my sword and plunge it into his abdomen. He looks down at the blood flowing from the wound then glares at me.

“Is that the best you can do?” I go to retort but an arrow surrounded by purple light crashes through him.

He screams…loud.

“Bastard had it coming.” Kagome says then walks up to me and points another arrow at him.

“Miko bitch.” He spits at her and a tentacle reaches out towards her and moves much to fast for me to stop. InuYasha runs out and slices the tentacles in half with a large sword.

I grin as Sesshomaru also walks up to Naraku.

“You've think you won haven't you? Impossible you're all weak.” Naraku laughs. I see Ayame, Kouga, Kagura, and Miroku walk into the room.

Blood on their hands and clothes.

Kagome screams I look over to her and see Naraku has a powerful grip on her arm which is pulsing red. I run over to her and Naraku also grabs my arm. It hurts…bad. From the corner of my eye I see Ayame attack Naraku along with Miroku and InuYasha, but they are thrown back. He created a barrier. The pain is so intense and I want to die. I feel Naraku let go of me.

“Kagome are you alright?” I ask her since she is on her knees and sparks crack around her.

“No my Miko energy is fighting Naraku's barrier.” Naraku is favoring his stomach but looks just as deadly.

“Kukukuk…it is no use.” I see the others try to fight their way through. Kagome falls and her body flickers then disappears. What the fuck?

I slowly find myself falling and my hand is translucent.

It becomes dark then.

“What the fuck is this!” InuYasha screamed as he ran up to where Naraku, Sango, and Kagome once were.

“He couldn't have...its damn near impossible.” Kagura whispered to herself but Sesshomaru, Kouga, InuYasha, and Ayame picked up on her words.

“What is it Kagura?” Sesshomaru asked her and Kagura stared at them all.

“It's hard to explain but you can say he transported them to another location outside Tokyo.”

“What the fuck! How the hell do we find them!?” InuYasha yelled.

“A mate, family member, or of the same blood can find there presence within five months.”

“Five months is to long, and how do we find Sango?” Ayame asked.

“Her USEP of course.” Sesshomaru said in monotone. Miroku pulled the ring out from under his shirt.

“She doesn't have it.” Sesshomaru eyes shot to towards Miroku. Miroku waved his hands in the air slowly.

“Wait, Her brother is still alive along with Kagome's.”

“Where?”

“A cave in the Fuji Mountain.”

They all stood at base in Sesshomaru's office. InuYasha was extremely pissed off and agitated.

“There is a prophecy that I wasn't aware of. If we analyze it maybe we can find out what happened today and what will happen.”

“What prophecy?” Kouga asked. Sesshomaru nodded to Ayame.

“The half human half devil will become tainted with evil heart. If his favor were to grow the murder of hundreds will stain the earth an insidious red. The white haired one will instigate divine hearts. The wicked heart shall become weak when his side turns to light. But as consequence two shall disappear. However when the crescent moon arrives one wish will be granted. Then the death of three will die, and a divine heart freed. A rebirth and demon peace under the western king”

Everyone stood there for a moment taking in the words just spoken. Deciding what it meant in their personal opinions. Ayame spoke up, first to speak.

“I have analyzed this prophecy for years.” Ayame took out a pen and paper and everyone crowed around her.

“The half human half demon will become tainted with evil heart. Naraku was at a time once good before he became selfish with greed and power. If his favor where to grow the murder of hundreds with stain the earth an insidious red. That basically means that if Naraku gains complete control in youkai society hundreds will die. The white haired one will instigate divine hearts. Kagome, Sango, and I work for Sesshomaru. The wicked heart shall become weak when his side turns to light. InuYasha, Kagura, Miroku, and Kouga have left Naraku and now he is wounded. But as consequence two shall disappear. Now we know that is Kagome and Sango who have disappeared because Miroku's elite chose to go to Sesshomaru because their love for…Sesshomaru's elite and not because Naraku is an evil bastard. However when the crescent moon arrives one wish will be granted. We can only imagine that an Inu Youkai who bears the crescent will make a wish that will be granted. Then the death of three will die, and a divine heart freed. A Three people will die; my guess is Sango will be free from being Naraku's mate. Rebirth and demon peace under the western king. I guess the victor of this war will be Sesshomaru, InuYasha, or Shippo since they are all legible to inherit the western territory. Or it could be that someone will take over the western lands and rule rightfully.”

“Rebirth? What does that mean?” Kagura said timidly. Ayame gave a weak smile and sat back down in her chair.

“That's what I've been trying to figure out.” Sesshomaru grasped her shoulder. Kagura was slightly jealous.

“Ayame go check on Kiku, I need to speak with them alone.” Ayame got up but then Sesshomaru stopped her.

“On second thought just stay, after all you're in charge till Kagome and Sango return home.”

He said home, she knew he missed them also.

It was hot. That was the first thing Sango realized when she awoke. She opened her eyes against the rising sun. She rose up from her back into sitting position. She stretched and rose to her feet. Trees were everywhere along with colorful flowers and tropical plants. Sango could hear a nearby stream or waterfall, hell maybe even both.

She knew where she was now.

The Amazon.

All that happened she remembered now. Naraku had somehow transported both Kagome and herself outside of Tokyo. From the looks of it she wasn't even in Japan! Sango searched out her senses to see if she could find Kagome. Sango has a high amount of ESP along with Ayame.

She couldn't sense Kagome.

That meant she was either not in the Amazon or was in Naraku's restrictions. She hoped the former rather then the latter. Sango looked at the fruit on the tree a beautiful ripe plum. Sango had a feeling it was going to take the others quite some time to find her. She ripped off the bottom to her black pants thus making them into shorts. She pulled off five plums from the tree and headed to the water to clean them off. Sango knew Naraku wasn't going to reappear for months, a miko arrow kills demons. And he being half that blow must have hurt like hell. Sango did realize that it was in fact a waterfall that led into a river. She heard a small noise to her left and got in a defense position.

There on the floor was a wounded neko.

Sango looked towards the small neko and pulled her into her arms. She petted her head and smiled at her. She gave her a newly washed piece of fruit and then examined her legs.

They were broken.

Sango ripped off a piece of her shirt and wrapped each of the neko's legs separately.

“I'll name you Kirara, my new best friend here.”

The neko `meowed' in -what Sango could only call- delight.

Ayame returned back into base with Kouga. On each of there backs was a little boy. Sesshomaru had decided to send out Ayame and Kouga to retrieve Souta and Kohaku since they were familiar with the mountains. Surprisingly both boys had fended for themselves quite well. They placed the two kids in Sango's room to sleep.

Ayame looked over at Kouga and sighed.

“We have to talk sometime you know.” Ayame said.

“I know.” Kouga said with a weary smile. He and Ayame headed to Ayame's room in base. Once there they sat down on the green carpeted floor.

“So…You have a child with Sesshomaru?” he more stated then asked.

“Yes, her name is Kiku. I guess you can say she was a mistake child but I don't regret having her. I love her to death but I can understand if that makes you uncomfortable…” Kouga grasped her hand and Ayame looked into his eyes.

“Ayame you're going to be my mate. If Kiku is your child then I will love her all the same. I'm not going to replace Sesshomaru in the girl's life but I like to be there for you and her.” Ayame smiled then jumped into his arms.

“I love you Kouga, I'm so sorry I hurt you. I really do love you with all my heart.” Kouga wrapped his arms around her and smiled into her hair.

“I love you too Ayame. More then you'll ever know.”

Kagura and Sesshomaru sat in the latter's office. He looked over at her as she looked threw many documents of Naraku's saved on her laptop. Sesshomaru was making his last call to air force in search of both Kagome and Sango. He got up from behind his desk and leaned in front of it instead.

“Found anything yet?” He asked and her back stiffened at his voice.

“No Nothing, just that Kikyo was injected with very powerful sleeping medications. Maybe she knows something he didn't want found out.”

Sesshomaru ran his claw down Kagura's arm, she in turn shivered.

“The problem is that Kikyo is in another coma, this time one more powerful. So by the time she awakes they information she has won't be needed.” Sesshomaru said. He dipped his head sideways and traced his fangs against her neck. Kagura turned around in her chair startled.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” Sesshomaru picked her up and she had to lock her legs around his back to stop from falling backwards. She wrapped her arms around his neck to keep balance. He pushed her back into the wall and Kagura hoisted her hips higher.

“Sesshomaru…” He hoisted her skirt higher and she leaned forward to unzip his pants. Sesshomaru traced his fangs against her throat again. He bit her slowly at first and Kagura had to admit she was shocked. Nonetheless she bit back and he bit harder till he broke the skin, she did the same. He lost control then and pounded into her. His growls and her moans echoed in the room.

InuYasha and Miroku sat in Kagome's room. Maybe it was because their loves of their lives were MIA or maybe because they really were alcoholics. They sat on Kagome's blue imperial carpet and talked while drinking lots of beer.

“Look what she did to me Yasha.” InuYasha raised an eyebrow when Miroku showed him a slowly healing hole in his hand.

“Damn that's one crazy bitch.”

“Hey! Sango isn't a bitch!” Miroku raised his hands wildly. InuYasha pointed to his ears.

“Inu Hanyou remember.”

“Ha! Sorry I forgot dog boy.” InuYasha jumped up and pointed a clawed finger at the young man in front of him.

“I ain't a dog!” Miroku stood up himself and knocked the offensive finger from his face. InuYasha was about to punch Miroku when a little voice entered the room.

“Uncle Yasha…Uncle Miro?” Kiku walked into the room holding her white fluffy to her chest. InuYasha lowered his fists and Miroku picked up the little girl.

“What's wrong Kiku?” Miroku asked the small child. She brushed her red hair away from her golden eyes and smiled.

“I wanted Uncle Yasha to tell me a story, the one with the yellow bag and God tree.” InuYasha took Kiku from Miroku and placed her under the covers in Kagome bed. He got on top of the blankets and kicked off his shoes. Miroku took an extra blanket and pillow and settled on the floor. He wrapped a arm around his niece -actually he still couldn't believe he had a niece- and started the story his mother used to tell him and Sesshomaru.

“Five hundred years ago…”

Kagome couldn't believe that she was stuck in the damn forest. It was like the feudal era with more trees. She looked up at the trees and inhaled- for some reason this smell reminded her of InuYasha- she sat back down on the ground. She smelled ocean water and followed the scent. She walked slowly through the trees and found a beach.

Like paradise but no people.

It was deserted. No one was there nor a house or anything. Kagome sat down on the sand and gave herself a good cry. Here she was two months pregnant and she had no home, mate, family, or friends. Her only food would be fish and any little thing she could pick off a bush. She dried her tears on her shirt. There was a large opening in the forest where she would stay. The sun shined brightly on that area. Kagome actually saw a small hut. She ran towards it.

No one was there.

She looked around the hut but no one was there and it looked like no one have lived there your years. It was a simple hut with a normal wooden door which led into a large open space and another door. The other door inside the hut led into a smaller room which obviously was a bedroom. The room had a wooden trunk and a wood bed with a small twin size mattress. There was a small lantern propped against the trunk. This was good since there were no windows in the `bedroom'.

There were two or three white dresses inside the trunk.

Along with white slippers.

It was better then nothing Kagome thought. She walked back out into the main room. At least that room had two windows. Kagome took off her black vest and set it on the floor.

It was getting dark.

She walked out the hut and pulled off a bunch of berries from a bush. She walked out the forest and into the beach area. She rinsed the berries in the water then returned back to the hut.

AN: Much to my surprise this chapter was extremely easy to write. Okay people review and all that lovely stuff. By the way `Mr. and Mrs. Smith', `Batman Begins', and `War of the Worlds' are all great movies. Sorry that the format is fucked up. I write in Normal View but MM.ORG posts in Web Layout View. This has made the formats messed up I'll try to fix it.
