As we last left Inuyasha and Kagome, Miroku and Sango locked them in their room, telling them that they wouldn't be allowed to leave untill they atleast talked to each other and tried to get along. The two hanyou's behavior was making everyone in the castle on edge. Inuyasha finished his food and continued to stare at the female hanyou that was in front of him, he didn't hate her anymore, but he wasn't sure what he felt for her, he was so confused, one minute he wanted to strangle her the other minute he wanted to kiss her. Kagome was feeling the same way, but she kept trying to convince herself that she hated him with all of her being, he was a cold uncaring monster and a heartless bastard, but no matter how hard she kept repeating this particular mantra in her head, she still found herself wishing that he would notice her, since her change, she thought he would atleast treat her a little bit better, I mean she was a hanyou now to for christ's sake.

Kagome got up from her chair, and walked over to the windowsill where she sat and just gazed outside, she had this depressed look, and her doggie ears were drooping slightly. Inuyasha noticed his mates behavior and he felt bad, he wanted to wrap his arms around her and kiss her and tell her everything would be okay. He walked up behind her and sat next to her, staring out the window as well. Kagome felt his presence behind her, but she was afraid to move and kept really still, she didn't know what he was going to do, but knowing him it wouldn't be good. Inuyasha was enticed by the fragrance that was Kagome, her scent was driving him wild. He decided that if they were ever going to get out of this room, that he might as well try to start a conversation with her, after all she was his mate, whether he had wanted her to be or not.

"I am sorry." Those three words were very hard to get out, and when he did it, he immediattely looked over at Kagome who stared at him with her mouth hanging wide open. She was shocked, disbeleiving what she heard, he would never apologize. Inuyasha sat there gouging her reaction, she didn't move or speak. They once again sat there in silence again, except Inuyasha for once in his life felt like crap, especially about the way he had been treating Kagome the past couple of weeks, hell he didn't deserve her forgiveness, not that he expected it. Finally after what seemed like endless hours of silence, she couldn't take it anymore. "Sorry, your sorry I don't know if I can forgive you after all you killed my only sister and her husband, than you have been treating me and Sango like slaves for the past week, you have raped me taken my innocence and kept me chained to your bed like a damned dog, and than you go and turn me into this!" Than once again there was silence after she yelled, at him she instantly felt bad when she saw his ears droop, and he looked contrite, like a child who has been properly scolded. Kagome felt bad for yelling at him, it was getting quite uncomfortable when she finally said "I forgive you." He looked up at her and his ears perked back up once again. "I forgive you that doesn't mean that I trust you and I sure as hell don't like you very much right now, and another thing.. MMF Kagome was silence as he walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forcefully on the lips effectively silencing her. Kagome couldn't help herself she began to return the kiss, they stayed like that for what seemed like hours untill the door opened up to reveal Miroku who had this perverted look on his face. Embarassed to be caught in a position like that, Inuyasha instantly pulled away from Kagome and bonking Miroku on the head, he than proceeded to walk outside to get away.

Kagome stood there in shock, still reeling from that passionate kiss, her lips were red and slightly bruised from that kiss. Not once when he had taken her did he kiss her on the lips, this was new to her and she was just standing there with a huge blush on her face. A few minutes later Sango came in the room, and asked Kagome if she wanted to talk. Kagome told her that she wanted to take a bath, but than would Sango eat dinner with her, they had a lot to talk about. Inuyasha was running through the forest, he kept thinking about the kiss, he knew he had feelings for her, but he was fighting a losing battle trying to convince himself that kiss meant nothing to him, when he wanted to go back and never stop kissing her. Kagome was sitting in the tub, relaxing while replaying the apology and kiss in her mind over and over again. She was startled out of her trance, when none other than Inuyasha comes strolling into the bathroom, ignoring the fact that she is completely naked. He walked right up to her and hauling her out of the bathtub, he carried her over to their bed, where he began to kiss her again a little less forcefully this time, she returned his kiss with equal passion, realizing that she was naked he covered her up with some sheets, and grabbing her into his arms he held her there, content with her being in his arms. Kagome was afraid that he was going to rape her but instead, he carried her into the bed after drying her off and covered her up with a sheet, now she was currently being held in his arms. He had this weird look on his face. Inuyasha came back from outside, discovered his mate was in the bath and before any logic could take place he had picked her up and carried her into their room, where all he could think about doing was kissing her and holding her and never letting her go. He knew deep down, he had no right to feel this way, after the way he had treated her, but he just couldn't bring himself to care, as long as she was his mate, she was his and that was all that mattered, admitting to himself that he had fallen in love with the rude, annoying, wench.

Sango was heading up to Kagome's room, when Miroku stopped her, he said that Inuyasha was in there and she should leave the two lovebirds alone. Miroku was glad because he found himself wanting to spend every waking moment with Sango, she was so beautiful and fiesty, he loved everything about her, especially the way her eyes twitched when she was angry. He soon found his hands traveling to places where they didn't belong and found himself on the ground. Sango huffed and walked away towards the kitchen to help prepare dinner.
