Chapter Eleven: Coming to a decision.

Must punish mate, these thoughts were flying through the full youkias mind as he flew by the village seeking out one of the higher trees in the forest, so that no one would hear her. He had a malicious grin on his face as he looked at the bitch sleeping in his arms, she had dried tears on her lovely face, her ears were drooping and she had a sad look on her sleeping face. The youkai knew that he had to teach this bitch her place, but a part of him wanted to hug her and hold her and tell her it would be okay, he shrugged that deep inner voice telling him to stop. As soon as he was satisfied they were high enough in a tree, he shook her awake. “Hey bitch time to wake up and receive your punishment, the little hanyou woke up and was staring into blood red eyes of her lover, who at the moment looked about ready to kill. He raised his claws to strike slicing open her shoulders, causing blood to start trickling down her arms, she could feel the poison in her veins threatening to burn her skin off, he continued to rake his nails up and down her form, soon there was a huge puddle of blood. Deep inside himself Inuyasha was watching as his demon side destroyed his mate. He tried to fight the urge to kill instead he picked her up and threw her down on the branch lunging down on the ground and running as fast as he could away, he was struggling with his demon side, as he fought for control, disgusted with himself, when he finally forced it to go away. He passed out from the sheer exhaustion of it all coming to with blood all over his claws, the smell of his mate and Miroku, oh god what had he done. Kagome awoke in the trees in excruciating pain, she managed to climb down but ended up falling on one of the branches from the blood loss and passed out again. When Kagome awoke she was bandaged up and Sango was sitting next to her bed, Inuyasha was no were to be seen. Sango was relieved when she saw that Kagome was awake. Miroko was presently fighting for his life in the infirmary, where they were trying their best to get the poison out of his system. He was delirious in his sleep and he kept mumbling no Sango love don't leave me, when he awoke in his sweat drenched bed his leader was sitting in a corner with his ears drooping he had a very sad look on his face. Inuyasha turned around and saw that his friend was awake, he was happy that he hadn't killed him, he would not go see Kagome, no he decided that she was better off without him. He told Miroku, Sesshomaru and Bankotsu that they were leaving in the morning, he had slain Naraku and there was no real reason to stay anymore. A bandaged still bloody Kagome overheard this and felt her heart break into a million pieces. “You bastard how dare you leave me, I am your mate, you can't just abandon me and the pup that is growing inside me, yeah that's right I am pregnant with your pup.” Inuyasha stunned looked over and got this happy look on his face for a moment but than he quickly turned it back into his scowl. “You are my mate, and you will obey me, I need to leave for while, I will be back in time to see you birth our pup, I need some distance, Shit Kagome I could have killed you and our baby, is that what you want?!” With that spoken he turned around left. Kagome watched as the man she loved walked away from her and she started to cry hysterically for her sister, her, Inuyasha, and their pup, she knew he was only saying that, deep in her hanyou heart she knew he would never be back. Inuyasha took one more look at his former home and than turning around he fixed his usual scowl as he and his men carried on towards their hometown.
