Chorus:
Aliya felt her heart pound against her chest as she felt Naraku's arms tighten around her waist. She could feel his hot breath fall upon her neck and cheek as he leaned down to her. The young woman was unsure of what she was to do. Although she knew she was supposed to fear this demon that held her in his arms, she did not feel the fear that she should. Aliya was confused about her emotions but the one that confused her the most was the comfort she felt in his arms. It was almost as if she belonged there against his chest. She closed her eyes revealing in the warmth of his body. Why do I feel this way? Why don't I fear him?
As if he could read her thoughts, Naraku pulled her closer to him. "You know you do not have anything to fear from me," he whispered into her ear. Aliya opened her eyes. How do I know that? "After what you did to Inuyasha and Kikyo why shouldn't I fear you?" she asked him. Suddenly she felt as if what she said had somehow hurt him. But how is that possible? She let out a gasp as his arms tightened even more around her waist, almost hurting her. "Do NOT mention those names in my presense. Do you understand me, Aliya?" he hissed into her ear.
Aliya whimpered and nodded her head. Right then she feared him. There was something in his voice that she could not read. Naraku's arms relaxed around her waist. "What do you want from me?" Aliya asked softly. She felt his fingers running through her hair. "You know what I want..." he whispered. "You have me mistaken for someone else... I do not know you..." Aliya swallowed. Those words sounded like a lie to her own ears. She knew his face even before she knew his name.
She could feel the smirk that spread across his lips. "Yes you know me very well, Aliya." Aliya lowered her gaze there was something hidden in his words that she could sense but he was not saying. "Why do you haunt my dreams?" Aliya whispered. Naraku raised his gaze from the top of her head. A slow smile spread across his features. He caressed her soft flesh enjoying the feel of it. He leaned down to her ear. "There is so much that I will reveal to you... the truth about what happened..." Aliya moaned softly as he placed his clawed hands on her breasts.
Naraku smiled to himself as he squeezed her again. He lifted one hand to her hair and brushed it behind her shoulder exposing her neck. The demon lowered his lips and tenderly kissed her soft flesh. A gasp fell from the lips of the young woman as she opened her eyes. "You remember my touch don't you?" he whispered into her skin. She whimpered. "What are you doing?" He didn't answer her as he kissed her throat again and again sending shivers of electricity through her body. Why is my body responding to his touch? What the hell is wrong with me?!
Aliya's mind fought with her body as she tried desperately to pull away but Naraku held her close to him. "You will not be escaping me that easily..." he whispered. The words did not sound threatening although they should have been. Just as the young woman opened her mouth to ask him what he meant she felt the demon let go her and disappear. "Aliya!?" came the frustrated and almost panic voice of Koga. Aliya stood still standing naked in the lake.
When the Okami came upon the young woman his jaw fell open. "Aliya..." he breathed before snapping out of his trance. "What the hell were you thinking!? Naraku is out there looking for..." he stops when Aliya turns to him her face flushed and her eyes in a daze. "He was here..." Aliya nodded her head slowly. Koga frowned. "He must have locked onto your growing power. It must be some sort of magnetic pull to him." Aliya watched Koga who was deep in thought.
"This isn't going to work. We need to leave and find Inuyasha," Koga said holding some fur wraps in his arms. "I figured you wanted to wear something other than your clothes." Aliya nodded as she took the fur and dressed. She smiled as she looked down at herself. "I look like an okami," she said. Koga nodded as he turned his back allowing her to climb onto it. "Do you know where he could be?" she whispered as he began to run off. "No... I don't but the only thing we can do is follow his scent."
The two journeyed away from the mountains toward an unknown destination. Aliya held tightly to Koga's neck. She watched the world fly by them as the okami ran. "Koga..." she shouted over the whistling wind. "Yeah?" "Do you know what type of demon I am?" The okami shook his head. "No... I can smell the demon blood coursing through your blood but as to what type I do not know..." he said. Aliya fell silent her brown hair whipping through the wind as Koga ran.
Inuyasha frowned to himself. He thought he had caught the scent of Naraku hours before but it had quickly vanished on the wind. He gripped the handle of the Tetsusaiga tightly in his hand. He was becoming desperate. He knew the longer he took in finding Naraku, the greater the chances that the demon would find Aliya. The inu-hanyou's hand loosened at the thought of the young woman. He missed her. He didn't think he would miss her this much but he does. He missed the way she placed her hand on his arm or shoulder to calm him down. No... I can't think about her. I have to keep my mind clear...
Koga skid to a hault as he found that they had come upon a great valley. He stared down, his hand clamping down tight on Aliya's lower back. The air was thick with the scent of demons. "Aliya..." he whispered but before he could voice a warning to her a large tail landed before them. Koga leapt out of the way to find that before them was a great white dragon. "Kuso..." he breathed as it opened its mouth and roared at them. The okami thought that the newly found hanyou would scream in fear but he only felt her sink her nails into his shoulders. "Koga..." she whispered.
The okami leapt away just in time to avoid the dragon's jaws. As he landed on the ground again, Aliya tumbled from his back. Aliya's head shot up as the dragon's tail knocked the okami away. The young woman jumped out of the way avoiding the dragon's jaws. Instead of fear, Aliya felt adrenaline pumping through her body. Dodging the tail and jaws of the dragon with amazing accuracy, although barely missing them. "ALIYA!" she heard Koga shout. The young woman turned her head as the dragon's tail slammed into her body sending her into a tree.
The tree snapped in half from the impact. Aliya slowly rose to her feet, her golden eyes shimmering with an unspeakable rage. She watched silently as Koga tried to make his way to her barely avoiding the jaws and tail of the dragon. The young woman was suddenly running towards the okami, she made a series of symbols with her hand before writing the kanji symbol of water in the air. "Eeeeeyah!" she screamed. "KAITEN NO EKITAI!" The dragon lifted its massive head watching her as a mighty whirlpool of water appeared around it. The dragon let out a mighty roar as the water spun faster and faster around it, completely swallowing it up in it's depths.
Aliya watched the dragon in anger her hair rising with her power as her rei heightened. When the whirlpool faded away the dragon had been torn to pieces and much of it was strewn about the forest floor. Koga stared blinking at the dragon's body parts. He turned his head. "You are more powerful than I thought..." he whispered. Somewhere in the distance a roar rocked the forest. Koga quickly ran towards Aliya and swept her into his arms. "We need to get out of here..." he muttered. "Your power is drawing other demons to you."
Naraku opened his eyes as he felt a sudden peak in power. A slow smirk spread across his handsome features. Her power is rising quickly. Soon I will be able to.... he broke through his own thoughts as he formed a plan on how to excute his wishes.
Koga carried Aliya in his arms. The young woman had fallen asleep in his arms minutes before. Her summoning so much power so quickly had drained her. He held her close to him enjoying the warm feeling of her body. He had to find Inuyasha with Aliya's power drawing demons to them, it was growing more and more dangerous for her. His jaw tightened. There is something about you... something so powerful.... I'm beginning to worry about your safety...
